What the he ll does this have to do with Morgellons? I was told a story yesterday, I won't name names but I realized how important the story was and how it so correlated with the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know.
In the movie, there is a very interesting part that points out what the mind is capable of recognizing. In the particular part of interest, the Indians are standing on the beach and there are ships out in the water. They know not of ships like this, so their eyes don't see them at first. Maybe they took a mind expanding drug or maybe for one moment one of them was just open to new ideas. That is all it took for them to finally see the ships.
One person who is affected by Morgellons went to the doctors, this doctor had an open mind at the time of her visit. And you know how are Morgellons is, it likes to hide, but at the same time if it knows someone that is looking belives that it likes to play with peoples heads. This paticular woman lifted up her pant leg and it was between the knee and the ankle and lo and behold, the fiber was sticking out. The Good doctor grabbed some tweezers and went to grab it and it pulled back into her body to fast. The poor man's jaw dropped and he jumped back. So if we can get the doctors to believe their could be something there, our friend ( I use the term loosely, very loosely), may just give em one he ll of a show.
And for the medical folks that come here, I would suggest you watch the show, "altered states", this university scientist type, is looking into expanding his horizons, he makes a discovery that is so astounding that he is speaking very quickly and hardly sleeping, doing his best to get his friends to look with an open mind. So he makes a deal with them that he will seek professional pschiatric help if they sit in with him on one of his experiments. They decide to humor him, end result they see what he has been doing his best to put forth to them. Now his friends are running around speaking really fast, because they believe.
How it does change when it happens to you!
In light of all this we must work on the belief factor, if we can get folks to give it an honest open mind, they will believe.
