Here's the first salmonella recall on peanut butter? It is time for the farmers to start checking their irrigation supplies.....maybe their irrigation comes from grey water from a wastewater treatment plant....and their process of killing off these microscopic organisms is not completing its job and these bacterial organisms are now in your irrigation water and contaminating your crops......OR the pesticides you are using includes these organisms in the batch and are now contaminating your crops over time..... Here is the news article on the peanut butter recall.... ConAgra Foods Inc. told consumers to discard certain jars of Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter after the spread was linked to a salmonella outbreak that has sickened almost 300 people nationwide news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070215/ap_on_he_me/peanut_butter_salmonellaI believe many of these past crop infestation is from contaminated irrigation water because all the organisms are not killed in the pH process and then being released into the farmers crops.....contaminating the crop over time.....
