I told someone the other day that I was glad I got Morgellons. Sounds crazy, doesn't it, would I be rid of it if I could, yes.
Why say such a thing.
Before Morgellons, I was loving and compassionate, and did my best to understand those with pain, yet, I could not empathize with them, not know what it was they felt. Now I see that in my actions, and I am pleased with that.
Sure I had a broken arm, colds and flu, and allergies, but it was not something that stayed with me day and night for years. It was learning true empathy that has allowed me to connect to those around me, it has allowed me (as skytroll would say) to be one with others, yet still an individual.

Well written.
I still think that this thing is targeting women.
Like I said before, it wasn't until I started playing with my feminine side - wearing nail polish and such, that I got hit really hard by this bug.
Maybe it thought I was a woman ?

bc -
maybe the researchers need to pull some of that blood of yours and see what your defense system has done to overcome this microbe.....there could be some interesting things that have happened in your blood and immune system to overcome this thing.....
this disease has brought me and my husband much closer.......but has separated us from family and friends so with one good thing comes many SAD things too....

It is my understanding that there are no blood tests that show ANYTHING - great or horrid - about Morgellons in victims.
We sure wish they did!
I would suggest speaking with Sunny7777 who posted her personal story ......she is a nurse, just out of the hospital and knows just about everythng there is to know about her blood.
Her computer is down, but if anyone asks her questions here, I will read them to her over the phone and post for her.

That is strange.....I just think the tests aren't going deep enough into the cell level.....my husband said these things were SMALL......VERY SMALL even when using a microscope to see them....it was like looking for a bass in the pacific ocean on a slide he said....in fact the maintenance workers used to have fun seeing who could spot one on a slide first.....that is how SMALL they were....
and when my husband was so very sick......so sick in fact that he qualified for PROSORBA treatments which is BLOOD DIAYLSIS and he did 24 treatments of blood diaylsis so 2 full treatments of 12 each done once a week.....and we both believe that this saved his life.....that is how sick he was at the time....
so we believe that this blood diaylsis filtered out a lot of this microbe that has invaded our bodies.....and that is what saved his life......otherwise that microbe was getting ready to tear him down completely......so we can never say enough good about those blood diaylsis treatments his doctor was good enough to know he needed and SAVED HIS LIFE.....
So we both believe without a doubt you could see this in blood if the test went deep enough to see this thing.....

I agree sickandtired, I think there is something in the blood, at least that is what my hurting veins have screamed at me.
I wish to explain my totally deleting myself, as per on the board. You find me venturing off into other subjects, but I am one to do that rather than to just focus on my illness. We have been waiting for information to come, hopefully it will be soon, but I thought better we should focus on the possibilities of ideas other than just the illness aspect. Gracebeours is going through a life now much like I myself went through, and I smile in knowing and understanding at her words.
It also makes me think of and consider what happens when they psychologically recreate a person, often it is done by the tearing away of the old until there is nothing left, everything is taken, your children, your family, your friends, your home, your looks, your food and then you are built back up the way they wish. So perhaps that is what has happened to me, perhaps it was an accident, perhaps not, I don't know, so I come here and ponder and guess, and throw out ideas and invite you to share. If you don't agree with me, that is ok. Often in this world I see folks taking sides, like one has to always be against something or someone. What little effort it would take to find a meeting place, to stand and look at the world through their eyes, you don't have to stay there. It also works for your benefit, sometimes when we are in pain, pretending you are something or someone else can be a way of healing all in itself.
So some of my posts are distractions and some of my posts I feel are very related, time will tell, what these are and what is real and what is imagined and perhaps those two things aren't so far apart.
I also shut down my pms for a while as I needed a bit of time still, so forgive me. I'm back and welcome all correspondance.
God Be With Us All in the times to come---
Big Hug, whiterose

Welcome back whiterose, remember we do not judge you or any of your actions, we understand how painful this journey has been and how painful it still is. God bless you.
