I cannot wait for a news story that has done their research and reporting the facts for a change.....that day is coming
This SILENT EPIDEMIC is silent no more.....the infected have taken it upon themselves to tell the world what is happening here......we are in deep nuts!!!

This SILENT EPIDEMIC is silent NO MORE!
Catchy phrase, I like it, and it has motivated me to share this with all of you here.
I too cannot wait for the truth to be reported.
It is up to us to call them, the reporters, out on the serious lack of investigative reporting. I have been corresponding with the science editor of the NYTimes for months now. I will copy and paste just one e-mail below for you all to view. If everyone who is infected (and knows it) would let these reporters know that we clearly see the lack of professionalism, well…. It just might make a difference.

Dear Mr. Corcoran,
I am writing to update you on the issue concerning the fiber disease aka Morgellons as discussed months ago in our correspondences.
If you recall one of the points I raised about your reporter who initially handled this story, (Mr. Mason) was that he seriously lacked crucial information in order to be able to factually report on this issue by not looking at the physical evidence reported by the victims of this affliction. I am happy to say that this appears to be changing as is evident in the recent reports by these television stations. (see links below)
One thing I mentioned to you many months ago was that we needed your services to help us get the CDC moving in order to receive any help for this speculated contagious condition. The CDC said they would launch an investigation in May of 2006. We are still waiting to hear when they will actually start this alleged launching as their investigation was delayed before it even started. It is still delayed. They say they will help but they have not and continue to do nothing but stall.
Would you please be so kind as to consider running an update report on this disease that continues to plague our country with no help or accountability from the agencies set in place to do this job?
In this recent report from Miami, if you listen you will hear the reporter say that when they contacted the health department about the victims being interviewed; they (Health Dept.) then sent investigators to the victim's home to address this serious situation. It is apparent that this condition only gets addressed and acted upon when the media steps in.

Doctors still refuse to treat this physical condition on him or me. As a concerned Mother I am pleading with you to please run an update on this story. Perhaps with your help we can force the CDC to do the job in which they are paid to do. Thank you for your consideration.
In desperate need of your help,

Doctors slow to recognize mysterious disease
Victims of Morgellons suffer real symptoms but accused of delusions

In 1979 Charlotte businessman Marc Iverson fell ill from a mysterious,
debilitating ailment. Many doctors didn't believe his symptoms were real,
much less the herald of a new disease………

Dear Ms. //////// : Many thanks for the update. I appreciate it. I'll make sure Mike Mason sees it, and while I can't promise a follow-up at this time, I can promise that we'll keep an eye on this issue.
Best, David
We will see what happens.
