Great having #OmarWasow at the Skin Deep: The Battle Over Morgellons World Premiere. Being the husband of Jennifer Brea from #Unrest, Omar knows a bit about chronic illness and documentaries. One thing he's noticed that struck me is how isolated patients can get: they are basically mocked by their doctors, disbelieved by their families, and suffering with symptoms of their disease. They don't feel legitimate or worthy. Which makes the fight against the disease so much more difficult. What documentaries can do is bring a legitimacy to the patient's disease experience that invites the family and support system back into the fold. So that people who are ill don't have to fight alone.
"There's a saying on the right that is 'Politics is downstream from culture.'" Meaning that if you want to change politics you have to change culture first. Omar pointed out that medicine is downstream from culture too. We'll need to change the mind of the public first before we can expect the medical community to come around. And that's what documentaries can do: change the public's mind.
As UNREST has done for the CFS/ME community, so can SKIN DEEP do for the Morgellons Community.
Please tell people about the film and use the hashtag #MorgellonsMovie on social media.

Dear RM Agents and Readers,
Thank You Again to those who have helped to place Morgellons into the limelight so that the right questions and answers may become known.
Those who are able need to get this in their community as soon as possible:)
Many Blessings,
CrystalRiver
