With the upcoming Spring break for the kiddies and the holidays coming up.....I have been invited to stay overnight with other family members. Any suggestions on dealing with this. I don't want to infect their bedding or towels....etc. I may buy my mother a plastic mattress cover and pillow case...they are relatively inexpensive.....but then....sitting on the furniture..etc... My own home always looks like we've just finished painting....drop clothes everywhere, covering furniture that I frequent....paper towel usage in bathrooms....I don't even use the common bar soap my family uses.... This could get exhausting ....and expensive.....geez....I need to get away.....!!!! Help!!! ~Bugsy

Not only is it exhausting, it could be dangerous to those you love the most, personally, I stay away from there homes. If this has something to do with our DNA, they would be more susceptible than the general public. Will cause more work than rest.
Than again if it is so prevalent in the environment, what we do on visiting may be secondary.
I guess it comes down to a personal choice.

We have stopped all visits with my family.....and friends.....we live like hermits now...for fear of infecting just one more.....
We have already infected
Steve's mother and daughter (who just had the worst first pregnancy and her baby was pulled at 3 pounds from severe pains and uable to carry to full term) brothers and their families and several previous co-workers and pets.....
so we can visit Steve's family anytime we have already infected all of them but too sick to travel

well according the textbook of clinical parasitology, "effective treatments of the visceral infections is accomplished by intramuscular or intravenous injection of certain pentavalane organic antomonials(eg. sodium antimony gluconate and ethylstibamine) or aromatic diamidines(pentamidine isethionate and stilbamidine isethionate) good luck

Thanks for all of your responses. I did go overnight to my mother's with her understanding that I have a potentially "contagious" condition. She agreed. I was miserable. Itchy and worried the whole time. She just comforted me by saying...you need a "GOOD" skin man. But silly me called back my old dermotologist who treated me for shingles and called these things "schmutz" and said to him" Me:"I am itchy all over my body and appear to have tiny wormlike larvae all over my body." Dr: "We will give you atarax which is an antihistamine. Me:"What about the bugs?" Dr:"We've gone over this before.......and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary" Me: "Well I was at my mom's and scratched one wormlike thingy into the sink and she "SAW" it wiggling around." Dr.: "Well if you have stuff crawling around on you then bring me another sample." Me: "Okay.....will do .....sigh." After this conversation I looked up what "Atarax" was for and it is a Antihistamine, Antianxiety, and oddly enough ....is in the piperazine family which is also a ANTHELMINTIC....which means anti parasitic. Shall I waste the drive over to give him my new samples he may or may not look at......I DON'T KNOW......I THINK HE HAS ME PIGEONHOLED AS A HEADCASE... What do you think? lol ~Bugsy

The end result of all the opinions is that you have to make the final call. I wouldn't waste my gas, unless you plan on taking all the information on nanotechnolgy and you think he will be open to the idea. In which case, it may be worth the trip. This is way out of the field of most dermetologists, and it is far more than skin deep.
I spoke with thinker today and she suggested and I think it is a good one: That we start putting information on a CD and get this stuff to the medical community as well as the public. It is working in the 911 case, most of you I hope have seen loose change 1 & 2. This would be the concept, we become the media we don't have.
