Hi Folks,
It is important to note that morgellons has often been compared to Scrapie as it causes one to get an itch that is beyond belief. Three weeks plus you get no sleep from this itch. Not your normal itchy spot mind you. Sheep often scrape clear down to the bone as it is so painful. At one point in time there was a site called 112 shad survivors page from Dugway Proving Ground (studied Biweapons and the like)and it had enough there that it connected to some info that was presented. This page has since been removed and it contained a great deal. Just FYI.
Much couldn't be copied which turned into its own nightmare and loss.
The rest here is from Gwen better known as Sunny---
Hello Everyone,
We have had a question asked: " Was Bb found in lesion tissue across the board in tests??" I will do my best to answer this here as well as expand a bit on some related ones that may be formed. Please share as you want to help the informational ripples spread out everywhere needed.
Presently, Morgellons is a clinical diagnosis with visual confirmation of the fibers / filaments IN the skin. This observation along with a thorough physical exam is the basis for diagnosing the disease. Any patient who is suspect for having Morgellons should have their skin examined with a hand-held lighted microscope (60x - 100x).
After years of research studies, the Morgellons fibers have been found to be composed of human keratin and collagen produced by the keratinocytes and fibroblasts in the skin. Many people continue to claim that the fibers are any number of things from insects to fungus. None of these nor yeast, gmo, nanotechnology or any variety of odd claims on the Internet have ever been identified in study subjects or are the cause of Morgellons disease.
Morgellons disease appears to be similar to bovine digital dermatitis, a spirochetal infection in cattle that has been around almost forever. It is NOT transmitted to humans from cattle. After multiple metagenomic analyses and molecular studies in which the BORRELIA SPIROCHETE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED IN EVERY MORGELLONS STUDY SUBJECT, current consensus is that Morgellons is closely associated with this spirochetal infection.
[Middelveen MJ, Bandoski C, Burke J, et al. Exploring the association between Morgellons disease and Lyme disease: identification of Borrelia burgdorferi in Morgellons disease patients. BMC Dermatology. 2015;15(1):1. doi:10.1186/s12895-015-0023-0. PubMed link: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4328066/…]
As you will read in peer-reviewed published research, Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease has been detected in every single Morgellons study subject. H.pylori was found in 2/3 of samples. Bartonella and Treponema denticola were also found in the dermal tissue from study subjects and may play a part in this condition.
Ultimately, Morgellons is a clinical diagnosis to be made by a qualified physician or other healthcare provider, based on symptoms and patient history, with any lab testing results used as tools to AID in the diagnosis, NOT TO BE THE MAIN DECIDING SOURCE OF THEIR DIAGNOSIS. The majority of LLMDs that understand Morgellons follow ILADS guidelines for Tick-Borne-Disease management and begin by evaluating patients for Borrelia as well as other possible co-infections. Infectious Disease doctors usually follow IDSA guidelines that claims the borrelia bacteria as well as possible TBD coinfectors are easy to test for and easy to treat/cure with 14 - 30 days of medication. Unfortunately, there is no test currently available that is 100% accurate for diagnosing Borrelia or the coinfectors and, thus, Morgellons. Both false positive and false negative results can occur, with the latter being far more common. You will be able to read more about this unde "Morgellons Disease: Diagnostic Testing" on our website, www.MorgellonsDisease.org. I also reccommend reading on Medscape the article "Future Microbiology Chronic Lyme Disease and the "Axis of Evil" at www.medscape.com/viewarticle/586226 which goes into greater depth and includes some of the political issues.
Morgellons research has cultured live Borrelia from the skin lesions of patients (both treated and during treatment) by multiple methods and multiple labs, seemingly to be disprooving the IDSA stance, but the powers that be do not want to accept the facts. It is imperative that research continue to keep the weighted scale of scientificaly valid information tilted on our side. Also, the more studies on Morgellons disease that are done, the more specific knowledge surrounding the condition we will gain. Published research is a heavy-hitter in the war we are facing and will, ultimatley, be what will win this for us.
I hope I have provided you with some insights to think about and solid resources to do further reading while learning about Morgellons. Please, everyone, keep hope in your heart because we are winning this war and the nightmare of Morgellons disease will soon come to an end. ... Sunny
