Yes, I have a bad problem with the demodex mites. They cause terrible itching as well. The FIRST eyebrow hair I pulled out and put under my microscope had a demodex mite on the root. The second hair I pulled out had tiny white round eggs stuck to the root ! So if the first two both had signs, they are out of control. I use the Face Doctor soap and it does help some. I makes it itch like crazy and I try to leave it on for about two minutes before rinsing it off. Then I get about an hours relief before the itching starts up again.
Lately I have had hundreds of white and clear fibers coming out of my eyebrows, eyelashes, corner of my eyes and ears. The ears are really the worst and I couldn't sleep at all the last two nights.
One thing that may have set them off is I quit drinking for two solid weeks and the symptoms lessened. Then last weekend I killed a whole case of beer and the next day the itching was the worst ever !!! It is starting up again right now.
I use a tooth brush to scrape the fibers off my face and the little suckers burrow into the toothbrush bristles and I pull them out. Sometimes there are dozens of them in there after just a few brushes of an eyebrow!!! It is really terrible. :-(
I might have to quit drinking completely, because when I stop they get really bad.
I took a vinegar bath last night and that helped a bit too.
Noxzema in the ears helps until it dries out and then the fibers start moving around again.
I managed to pull a four inch fiber out of my left ear the other day with needle nosed pliers! That stopped the itching for a little while and then more started coming out - I guess from the tiny hair follicles.
Maybe the demodex mites are in there as well. Check out
www.naturalginesis.com/mysterious_biting_mite_infesting_homes_and_people_.htmfor info relating the mites with the fibers.
I also have some cream from Singapore that is supposed to kill the mites. But it only works when they migrate out of the follicle to mate at night. The itching is terrible as they crawl across my face.
It's funny, but it wasn't until I started with the Morgellons symptoms in August that the mite infestation really kicked in.
My first Kleen Free Enzyme bath caused a three inch bright green fiber - about the thickness of a piece if uncooked pasta to come out of a lesion I had in the center of my back. It swam around in the bath tub and it took me about 2 minutes to catch it! When it dried out it stopped moving. I still have it in a plastic vial.
I has 4 barbs at the head and then narrows to a point at the tail like a tad pole.
That is the only one I have seen like that. Most are tiny clear or white or up to two inches or so long. And sometimes fuzz balls with black or blue fibers in the center and surrounded by a ball of the white fibers. They continue to move around as I look at them in my 20 power binocular microscope. I have a bunch in vials and they continue to grow and move around!!!
Sorry for such a long post, but I had to get some of this off my chest!
