thehealthcoach1.com/?p=404Multi-Infection Syndromes: Scourge Of The New Millennium Posted on March 21, 2012 by 1healthcoach Multi-Infection Syndrome — What is it and how does it occur? After years of exposure to pollution, heavy metals, insecticides, toxins, chemicals, contaminants, poisons, radiation, etc. the human body does come to reflect the environmental profile of the locale we live in, food we eat, beverages we drink, as well as pills and potions, capsules and lotions. Each of these different inanimate invaders, when not properly detoxified, finds a home somewhere in the body. Depending on what it is, they each gravitate to a different tissue, organ or body part. After months or years of accumulation in a specific area of the body, an altered environment is created whereby it becomes hospitable for various pathogenic micro-organisms to make a home. As an example, when nickel accumulates in the scalp of a man, it draws a particular parasite which lodges in the hair follicle. This is how male pattern baldness occurs. The parasite ultimately destroys the hair follicle. When two or more pathogenic micro-organisms inhabit the same corrupted space it is called a co-infection. If the disease process is allowed to advance unimpeded, it can evolve into a full-blown multi-infection syndrome. AIDS, CFS, ALS, MS, MD, Morgellons, Mono, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Lyme, Epstein Barr, Candiadisis, Huntington’s Disease and other Multi-Infection Syndromes

When I was on speaking terms with Stephen at 60 Minutes I said to him that I believed Morgellons to be the "New Millennium Plague"...
maybe he should have listened....

If systemic pullution is the exclusive reason behind Morgellons is a question, but working with ones general health from this angle brings results.
It requires total refocusing , but it is worth it.
Snip from one of my earlier posts:
______________________________________________
- yeast free diet (anti candida) - alkaline diet in general, supplied with baking soda in my drinking water (1 ts per 1.5 liter) and sodium citrate morning and evening (see below) - detoxification (green clay, cilantro, chlorella, spirulina, …) in intervals - magnesium and potassium supplements (when not using green clay) - vitamin C, large doses - vitamin D - Omega fatty acids - glyserol (a couple of tea s p o o n fuls in a cup of tea every day) - avoiding excitotoxins, pre-fabricated foods and keeping low on the caffeine intake. - Using ecological foods as much as possible
To make sodium citrate: One ts citric acid (pharmacy) in 1.5 dl water. Stir. Add 3/4 ts baking soda (sodium carbonate) and stir until dissolved (fizz goes down)
As with everything else: Caution. Google everything (what goes together, what doesn't, counter indications, side effects, herx reactions) and consult with your doctor (if possible).
For me this regime has (slowly but surely - no miracles) made me cope better. _____________________________________________
I have also added iodine to the protocol.
