Thank you Bugsy!
It will be interesting to see which direction this goes now, I'm still cautious. Perhaps the numbers have grown so much that it had to be acknowledged.
A month ago I heard it was 60,000 and growing---
Anybody out there with a good guess, nurses or someone in the know, Sho?

I won't believe acknowledgement of Morgellons by the CDC unless they phone me personally or I hear via the news here in Australia.
The internet is full of lies and this is not fair when peole are very sick.
I volunteer for the study, or have I just done that for 12 months?

I think the ackowledgement by the CDC is huge and here is the website once again. www.cdc.gov/unexplaineddermopathy/So where does this leave Morgellons Watch and those that pay and control them, hmmmm?

It sure will be interesting to see how this plays out!
If what we've read and think is true (nanotech bio-mechanism) then it will be a real twist to provide a 'cure'.
Normally, the pharmaceutical companies make a killing providing drugs that 'cure' a new disease. With Morgellons, a 'cure' will be probably necessitate a wholesale restructuring or abandonment of a burgeoning, lucrative new industry. Now factor-in National Security and global trade. Rather than being yet another money-making proposition, arresting Morgellons growth could set America, or any other nation, in a losing position if they fiddle with, disturb, or abandon this new technology.
America and other nations always protect their financial interests. Morgellons, from what we have seen, will destroy the status-quo of wealth distribution (and if you're honest, that's what any nation is really interested in).
I wonder whether this study will be buried for another year, resulting, next year, with another news brief that will announce recommendations for ongoing in-depth research.
I'm not from Missouri, but I'll believe CDC once they provide results. However, at least they've done one thing right - with the 'Unexplained Dermopathy (aka "Morgellons") we have been given a tentative reprieve from DOP Land.
Blessings, booniesboy

I'm with you boonieboy, we have heard two seperate times about studies, I'll believe it when I see it.
I do believe their is a huge move to divorce morgellons from nanotechnology. There white paper that the EPA put out in February of this year is not easily accessable any longer. It is out there if you look, but best save it to the hard drive.
