I am setting up a weekly (hopefully) radio programme streamed on the web. It will begin in November and feature discussions, interviews and features - with sufferers, medics and scientists. Indeed, anyone connected with the disease. Shows will also be recorded for playback at anytime.
Anyone who has a story to tell is very welcome to contact me and join in the programme. I'll be hooking up with people using Skype but audio only - no webcam necessary. Failing that I can also patch people in on the normal phone. I have free/cheap phone links so it is possible.
Although I am calling it radio it is actually tv streaming so have the opportunity to play in video clips and all kinds of graphics and pictures too. I am on Central European Time so will probably have to record any discussions/interviews with folk in the US for example - but we'll see.
Technical tests have gone well - all "singing and dancing" with live Skype audio discussion feeding into the tv/radio show plus video inserts using 4 pieces of software and two computers!).
For your info, my background is in the media and I have my own sound studio and editing facilities so, fingers crossed, we have the right ingredients to get going. Of-course the most important thing is yourself: both as listener and contributer.
The site is already up and running but I'll post the url in a week or two's time. Right now please email me if you would like to take part. All kinds of angles are possible: how you think you caught Morgellons, your fight with doctors, things you find help make life bearable, etc etc. I am also looking for people - ordinary people, not necessarily doctors - who follow scientific developments and could come in each week to give updates etc.
Email me at (and I am removing the usual . and @ to prevent spamming): barrieATredfernDOTtv Look forward to hearing from you.
