New here (obviously lol) just wanted to say hello and share a bit of my "story."
Having Morgellons has been quite an adventure for me to say the least.
I have learned more about fungus, bacteria, Nematodes, parasites, chemtrails, microorganisms and diseases/conditions/ailments of the human body than any "normal" person should ever know.
My battle with Morgellons started long ago but remained a "cold "war" until this past June with the appearance of the "Crimson Chin."
The "Crimson Chin" was an evil, painful, burning, stinging, flesh eating monster.
In an attempt to slay this beast I reasoned that I should bring it to a "specialist" so off i went to the dermatologist.
The "Crimson Chin" did not appreciate this at all and made me pay dearly for this mistake.
In retaliation for my involving a medical professional the "Crimson Chin" was "fruitful and multiplied." By the 2nd day of "treatment" the beast had grown to 3x its original size and further punished me by causing not only my face but my entire body to throb, itch, crawl, and burn with such intensity that I thought I was going to go insane.
To make a very long story short i ended up 3x at the "specialist;" 3x at the ER; 2x at my family practitioner; 2x at the shrink; was prescribed 7 types of antibiotics, 3 types of oral steroids, 2 types of anti Bacterial creams, 1 steroid cream, 2 types of systemic (oral) antifungals, 1 really strong antihistimine, 1 antidepressant, a small supply of xanax, and I lost 2 weeks of work only to have my doctor tell me (exact words after examination of a fiber under his microscope) "I don't know what this is, I have never seen anything like it before."
Shocked by this comment, it was at this point I realized I was on my own with this battle so armed with fear, determination and my small supply of xanax I set out to know my enemy and learn all I could about the "Crimson Chin"
I read and researched everything imaginable trying to pin down the source of my suffering going to great lengths trying to prove to myself that I don't have Morgellons. I even wished for cancer! But after all my data was compiled and analyzed I was forced to face the fact that I have a debilitating disease that the medical profession refuses to acknowledge and for which there is no cure.
So here I am thankful for the opportunity to gain support and feedback from others like myself who understand what living with this affliction is like.
