All you need is a toy or a cheep microscope and a digital camera and eyebrow tweezers simply pluck around sores until you find fibers under your microscope take pictures by placing a camera to eyepiece of the microscope take some photos sometimes you need to take many samples from lesion or a pimple looking lump from affected area to get a good sample keep your samples print your photos and copy other Morgellons pictures take all your samples and your research to your G.P. your biggest hurdle is getting past your Doctor to get to a dermatologist. I did all that for some time and 3 Dr,s later to get to a dermatologist to confirm I have morgellons. Good luck and I hope you can get some answers to your questions

greggo - Not sure I understood you - did this work for you? Did you get doctors to believe you because of your pictures of samples? What were their reactions, and what did they have to say? sunnydaze

Hi no Doctor believed my story about finding fibers in my face neck and arms when I picked at the sores it felt like there was hundreds of very fine hairs in a very small area in and around all the sores to many to be normal so I wanted to see for myself so I bought a biological microscope and found the fibers so many it was scary it took a couple of years to discover by a TV show about morgellons so only then I was not alone all the so called doctors I had gone to told me its all in my head (Delusional parasites) and self mutilating I'm coved in scars and sores they even said to stay away from drugs, I dont do drugs anyway I took my laptop to my Dr with all I found about Morgellons and my samples and pictures my Dr sent me to a Dermatologist who had diagnosed 2 other people In Brisbane Australia I am the 3rd person he knows about with morgellons I now do what I call harvesting the fibers so he can do some research on them I think he is Going to try to do a D.N.A. test on the fibers I will keep you all posted on all the results.

Congratulations, Greggo! That is fantastic that a dermatologist is actually on board! You'd think they would be the first to really look - but they've been our biggest enemy! Sunnydaze

I sent you some pictures to your e-mail address I hope you got them I'm not to good on the computer maybe you can help me to share these pictures with others I don't know how to upload pictures to the Morgellons group. The dermatologist is at the Marter hospital in Brisbane Q.L.D. Australia his name is Dr Muir he is the head Dr for adult dermatology and all his staff also believe that Morgellons is real all he has to do is tell the world. That is my wish so all of us can get help from Doctors worldwide.

Oh, that is WONDERFUL!!! Thank you so much for sharing this information. I am sure I am not the only one whose day you made! Are we actually making progress?? Are you still working with this Doc? Is he interested in trying to publish something in a journal?? I got your emails - pretty impressive pictures! - and I am always struck by how much everyone's samples resemble each other. And the doctors can't see anything! I tried to "reply" to your emails but kept getting "delivery failure" notices after trying. Don't know why. I don't know how to upload them, either...I'm sorry!! sunnydaze

Not much different with my family. They now do acknowledge it but will never say they are sorry for saying I was delusional. They just don't know how to deal with it. This just sucks. sunnydaze

Greggo..cheers to you, unfortunately my doc did not have that reaction..it was more that "oh..thats weird", that was 2 years ago, not another word about it tho she has seen me 4x since then. she is more interested in giving me drugs for my so-called high cholesteral! i even was treated by another doc in the practice for a sprained ankle (you all know about the falling down )...I have lesions covering my entire body.. he said not one word! who does that..what's going on with these doctors?!

Hi Junknira Greggo here, Just a little advise on how ho talk to doctors never say you have any type of parasite nematodes etc .Just ask what is this this I found in the pictures? as soon as you use the word parasite the he she will say delusional parasite. So never use the word parasite maybe ask is this some type of bacteria? try to take a family or Friend who believes in you to back you up on how you got the pictures. Don't argue with your doctor that will only make him or her think your delusional be calm just ask what is this? I wish you the best of luck ask for a sterile container offer some samples ask the Doctor what is this?

Hi Greggo,
Great advice--thanks for keeping us in the loop on your achievements--and helpful advice for advancing the recognition of this condition.
Also ---sometimes folks I don't reply because I hate seeing just my name on every category--the more people that speak out here helps me with that issue--so Thank You Greggo.
I also have a life regardless of what folks think--and do post at several other places to help disseminate the information.
Many Blessings, CrystalRiver

Hi Junknira Greggo here, How did you go with getting pictures? Did you get some to compare with others? I found it took some time to get real good shots I found it easy if you don,t magnify too much the fibers are macroscopic they can be seen with the naked eye take your time try not to dig deep into your skin I would love to see some of your work.

Nice pics greggo, thanks for sharing. I never had a lot of wounds. I think there must be different forms of this disease that may present itself with a wide variety of symptoms.
CR. I really like your posts. You have a lot of great info to share. Please keep it up...you are the one that keeps things flowing here. You are like the "Mom" of the board. We learn a lot from you.
