i an a registered nurse,i cannot speak of this disease to my family however i am managing with it.i work in a conv. hospital yesterday a 60y/0 patient of mine spoke to me of getting strange bumps all over her body thirty years ago the doctor found stiff threads similar to an sos pad in each one, they were extremely painful to her she said you could look down to a relatively deep hole in her skin on each one.the doctor treated her with tetracycline for this. i believe my case is in remission thanks to colloidal silver i am new to the computer if anyone wants to reply im under wiest.katie21 password registerednurse wiest.katie21@gmail.com when i got this i called the morgellons doctors office in san francisco i believe her name was ms snavely i spoke with her on the phone twice and was supposed to receive more info and an appointment she never called back so i did my own research i lost five years of my life and have a difficult time working due to my 5 year break form nursing interestingly enough the patient i wroter about was in excellent health prior to this she has now had repeated heart attacks, lost both of her legs is legally blind although she is not a diabetic and has no other diagnosable diseaseso i believe the disease actually begins on the skin then travels inward therefore when people think they are cured because the skin lesions have disappeared they may be wrong. i now have extremely high blood pressure, abnormal ekg readings, early stage pulmonary fibrosis and stage 3 kidney disease
