browncircles - Are Dr. Kilani and Dr. Staninger going to be invited as presenters? I can't see the point in rehashing the same old things that were presented a year ago. No one has come forward with anything new, no publications, nothing (with the possible exception of the hot water tank, and the MRF was not "invited" last year anyway). I know that I speak for many when I say it is time to stop the bickering, jealousy, and competition among the Morgellons researchers. Whatever the issues are, these "leaders" have a moral and ethical responsibilty to put their egos aside and share information, no matter how differently they may see things. Many thousands of lives are at stake, and this form of "pride" is almost as destructive as the thing itself. If real answers can emerge from the synergy of cooperation then shame on them for putting their self-interest above the welfare of the planet. anewday

I don't know about Staninger but I do know that the MRF was invited to speak this year. I hope they send a representative.
April is still quite aways off. Maybe something will be published by then. We can hope.
My best experience at the conference was meeting and talking with other people with morgellons.

I know what you mean. A group has started up in the Tampa area, and I have gone to the last two. They will be meeting monthly now; there is nothing like being face to face with others who are experiencing what you are. In isolation, I sometimes feel like I am the only one on the planet.

Let us just hope that these researchers will get together and put something new on the table...for everyone's sake... You know me i don't have any faith in official "public" mettings which they setup to draw attenion away form the real issue. I do tho have great faith in those doing independant research away from any main stream influence.... It's these people who are our biggest hope. I do hope this new conference will produce new findings.

Awake - What public meetings are you referring to? It took a long, long time before that first conference last March occurred. Although not much was presented that wasn't already out there, it did serve the purpose of drawing attention to Morgellons. These are baby steps that we are taking...I wish they were strides...but it's a whole lot of different things that have to happen before we can make real progress. And I'm afraid that with so much else going on in the world right now "our" cause will fade away. anewday
