Meredith,
Yes, those are the same doctors they sent to me.Here is what the show is "suppose" to be about from the producer.
THE DOCTORS
Series Description
From the creative team behind the long-running hit series “Dr. Phil” comes THE DOCTORS, a new, one-hour syndicated daytime talk show. For the first time on daytime television, viewers will have a source of reliable and fascinating medical and health advice, dispensed daily by a distinguished panel of five “on-call” professionals. THE DOCTORS will premiere nationwide in September 2008 (Check local listings for station and time).
Story-driven, dynamic and interactive, THE DOCTORS does for health care what DR. PHIL has done for down-to-earth discussions of emotional and psychological issues. The series’ experts will focus on the compelling, real-life experiences of the show’s guests and then weigh in, disseminating valuable information about health, medical care and drugs in a compelling, informal, easy-to-understand and entertaining format.
The team of doctors are five top practicing professionals, each with a different specialty — ER physician (and former ABC “Bachelor” in Paris) Dr. Travis Stork; psychologist Dr. Tara Fields, Ph.D., M.F.P.; obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Lisa Masterson; plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgery expert Dr. Andrew Ordon; and pediatrician Dr. James Sears.
Viewers are also encouraged to “Ask the Doctors” by submitting their questions and experiences to the show’s website about the health care issues that matter the most to them. Answers may be delivered on-air, or become the basis for a larger, produced segment. With its fluid format, THE DOCTORS covers a broad range of subjects, especially news-breaking, topical issues. The show features on-set medical procedures, either directly in front of the studio audience or in its backstage examining room, and off-site “house calls.” This medical dream team will be the “must-go-to” source for information on the latest medical breakthroughs and cutting-edge practices and procedures, providing a valuable resource for viewers who might not have access to the most updated medical advances.
Five medical practitioners, with five different specialties, five days a week, discuss what people need to know to live their best lives. If it matters to you, it matters to THE DOCTORS.
THE DOCTORS, taped in front of a live audience in Hollywood, is produced by Stage 29 Productions and distributed by CBS Television Distribution. Jay McGraw, Carla Pennington and Dr. Phil McGraw are executive producers. CBS Television Distribution is a unit of CBS Corp.
Dr. Travis Stork, M.D.
Dr. Travis Stork is an emergency room physician, who practices at a trauma center in his native Colorado when he is not in front of the cameras for THE DOCTORS. His credentials include graduating Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and earning his M.D. with Honors from the University of Virginia. He completed his three-year residency as an emergency room doctor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
A fervent believer in good health, Dr. Stork practices what he preaches and likes to teach by example. With his role on THE DOCTORS, he hopes to enlighten viewers on how to attain and maintain good health. “People don’t realize how much control they have over their own health,” he said. “Oftentimes, when people come to the ER, it’s already too late. There’s nothing I’d be more proud of as a doctor than reducing the work load for America’s hospitals by teaching viewers how to avoid preventable illnesses.”
The self-described “adrenalin junkie” greatly enjoys his work in the ER. “You never know what’s going to be coming through the door,” he said. “I’m most passionate about taking care of patients. It’s an honor for me to apply the skills I’ve learned to help people in their time of crisis.”
Dr. Stork is perhaps best known to television audiences from his starring title role in the popular ABC primetime series, “The Bachelor,” during the series’ eighth season set in Paris, France. It was his appearance on that series that brought him to the attention of Dr. Phil McGraw and executive producer, Jay McGraw. What sold Dr. Stork on being involved in the new daytime show was when Dr. Phil told him that he could educate more people in a one-hour episode than during his entire life in the ER.
Dr. Stork has been a regular guest expert on “Dr. Phil” since March 2007. He has also appeared on the syndicated talk show, “Rachael Ray.” Drawing on his personal and professional experiences, he wrote his first book, Don’t Be That Girl: A Guide to Finding the Confident, Rational Girl Within, which was published in January 2008 by Simon & Schuster. In the book, Dr. Stork reveals why women must first believe in themselves if they hope to find the type of relationship that will bring them the fulfillment and happiness they deserve.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Stork is a devotee of mountain and road biking, kayaking and hiking in the Rocky Mountains with his dog Nala. He has participated in numerous fund-raisers for organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and, in 1998, he bicycled solo cross-country for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

“For me, THE DOCTORS is a new challenge that I embrace with the same passion and energy that I have had for 25 years in private practice. I am very excited about sharing my expertise and giving viewers a glimpse into what is possible through reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, as well as telling them about the latest trends in skin care, anti-aging and well-being.”
Dr. Ordon is no stranger to television. He has hosted the syndicated television show, “Plastic Surgery Today,” and has been a featured guest on television shows such as “Dr. Phil,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “20/20,” “NBC Nightly News” and “ABC World News.” Dr. Ordon is also the author of Revealing the New You: A Guide to Plastic Surgery and Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lisa M. Masterson, M.D.
Dr. Lisa M. Masterson, M.D., is a specialist in obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, adolescent gynecology and family planning. She is on staff at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and maintains a private office in Santa Monica.

She attended The Bishop’s School, a private school in La Jolla, Calif., and upon graduation, Dr. Masterson entered Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. She graduated from medical school at the University of Southern California.
“I am extremely passionate about improving and saving people’s lives,” said Dr. Masterson. “Through my charity, Maternal Fetal Care International (MFCI), we go to poor regions in the world to help save the lives of pregnant women and improve the standards of their healthcare. I am currently creating the first OB/GYN residency program in Eritrea, Africa, and I have started birthing clinics in Kenya and India.”
As a child, Dr. Masterson was inspired by both her mother and grandmother. Her maternal grandmother was the eldest in a family of 12 who became a schoolteacher at segregated black schools in the south. Dr. Masterson’s mother was a professor at the University of Washington who went on to serve in the Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Dr. Masterson is familiar to television audiences from her numerous appearances on “Today,” “Good Morning America,” “Dr. Phil” and “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” as well as on CNN, Discovery Health Channel’s “Strictly Dr. Drew” and the Lifetime series, “What Should You Do?”
She and her husband have a 17-year-old son, and the family lives in Southern California. In her spare time, she enjoys surfing and learning French.
Dr. Tara Fields, Ph.D., M.F.T.
Dr. Tara Fields is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Ph.D. in psychology, who has been helping couples and families for over 15 years.
She earned her master’s degree in psychology from Antioch University and interned at the prestigious Maple Center Clinic in Beverly Hills, CA, where she trained in marriage interventions and family therapy, as well as adolescent and child psychotherapy. During this time she also began her training in addictions, eating disorders and interventions. After receiving her Marriage and Family Therapy license, she started a private practice. Two years later, she returned to graduate school to complete her doctorate degree in psychology at Columbia Pacific University.
“What moves me, what gives me the great passion to do what I do, is that I can reach out to so many people on radio or television and say, ‘You are not alone in feeling this, be it shame, or feeling damaged or living in isolation,’” said Dr. Fields. “For me, the gift is to be the reality check and tell people that this is what they’ve been taught to believe about themselves, but that there’s nothing wrong with them…and then have thousands of people respond, ‘Yes, yes, that’s me.’”
A few years after she began her media career on San Francisco’s KGO-AM, she launched, in 1996, her popular “The Dr. Tara Show” call-in advice program in the San Francisco and Seattle markets, which gave her the moniker of the Bay area’s “Dr. Frasier Crane.” She is a frequent guest on “Good Morning America,” “Dr. Phil,” “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and CNN and is seen as an interventionist on A&E’s “Intervention.” For more than 11 years, Dr. Fields has been featured weekly on KRON-TV’s “Saturday Daybreak” in San Francisco.

During his residency, he received the honor of “Emergency Medicine Resident of the Year.”
Dr. Sears loves working with children. It is not uncommon for him to see his patients outside of office hours by attending their birthday parties or graduations. He regards them as part of his extended family.
“My hope with THE DOCTORS is to bring the same family feel of my office to all the families in America that don’t have a personal relationship with their pediatrician,” Dr. Sears said. “More than just treating illness, my desire is to help families make changes for the better.”
He has been featured on “Dr. Phil” and the PBS series, “Help Me Grow,” and dispenses medical advice on the web sites

The only other thing the producer told me was that
it was featuring a female living with her boyfriend who
does not believe in Morgellons.
SS,
I do not know who they are going to have on. Yes, they asked
me for suggestions.
But ultimately, it is their choice.
Like you, gosh, I hope it all works to our advantage.
