Per the following link - it states Sept. 2005 by Mary Leitao that 'she' has been working with the CDC. How long before the statement was posted that she had been in contact with the CDC? www.morgellons.org/updates.htmlWhat has the CDC said to her since Sept. 2005? Why is the CDC acting like they are just 'now' aware of morgellons? Why is this "update" not on the new website with more current info from Mary Leitao and the CDC? It makes me think that the CDC and Mary Leitao are hiding something that could bring an end to "research". Any thoughts on this?

I just found this post on a yahoo group: health.groups.yahoo.com/group/finding1cure/message/4956I don't agree with this George Fuhrmann about "randy" if he is talking about Randy Wymore. This is what it states which I have also replied back what evidence does he have that can support this: Post: On Sun Aug 13 6:04 , 'George O. Fuhrmann' <olivery@...> sent: Ah, it took me a while but suddenly I am realizing, that somebody is asking me to clarify something I have said, and I almost missed an opportunity to say the same thing again a little differently... Seriously. After commenting on Randy's letter to the CDC, - must read for everybody - and adding my thoughts I had to run but I am back and have this addition: THIS IS WHAT I THINK ABOUT THIS MORGELLONS RESEARCH FOUNDATION. (And dr. Harvey in it.) This Lady Mary Fumiento, - I refuse to look up her name - founded this foundation for probably all the right reasons. The CDC monitoring emerging dangers quickly identified that the name Morgellons was catching momentum, and this place could become a center for pushing to uncover the mystery. So they arranged some meetings, pulled Mary aside, and made a DEAL. And from there on the Foundation was simply a means of living (living well as some would observe) for Mary. According to the agreement, they were supposed to keep a high profile, so everybody with these fibers would eventually latch onto their site and stop organizing any further. Now keep in mind that Randy himself stated that they have spent no money on research whatsoever, only on propaganda. But why? He never connected the dots. This is why! That is their mission! All this time they are not even looking at specimens what they have is in storage until such time they can get to it and all they do if one contacts them, that they send people to their local doctors, who would then classify these delusional, and as such are discredited, or send stuff to CDC where it would get "lost". So what the foundation does in agreement with CDC is, that they write all kind of fake public demands to CDC which is all well and fine by them. And also encourage people to write to CDC, and that is exactly what Randy has done, bidding their game plan. Except, as a noted is good to have such a letter on record. So, also, you may write to your congressman, and CDC would have an answer letter already written up for inquiring politicians, that yes we are vehemently working on it, just formed a committee and things of that nature. And even a well meaning Congressman will take that at face value, and so everything is kept under lid. The MRF is acting as a well visible prominent lightening rod, capturing all grass root demands for answers and neutralizing them, while playing this PR game with CDC for those who look but don't see... That is why I wrote that this cozy relationship is what we have to crack open by exposing it. The response so far - a have to admit - has not been overwhelming. Is it possible that I am the only one seeinguhm? George PS: Consequently: Whatever Harvey had done in his previous life is one thing, - and he may be right on Lyme - right now he is a corrupted person in this for the money. He was not among those three who have just resigned.

Makes you also wonder if Dr. Schwartz has made an agreement with them too, since they had all kinds of stuff on him. This is what I suspect.

Georgia Department of Human Resources • Division of Public Health • Stuart T. Brown, M.D., Director 2 Peachtree Street NW • Suite 15.470 • Atlanta, Georgia 30303-3142 404-657-2700 • FAX: 404-657-2715 I would now like to through a spanner into the works. This was forwarded to me by Mary Leitao. As you can see by the date it was around May this year. I was advised not to give out this press release to anyone, which I did not. But now due to the fact we have all been LIED to and continue to SUFFER this horror........by all means people read this. This can not be found on the Georgia Health Department Website, I do not understand what is going on??? FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 2, 2006 Contact: Demetrius M. Parker 404.657.6651 dmparker1@dhr.state.ga.us DHR BEGINS HEALTH SURVEILLANCE FOR REPORTS OF UNIDENTIFIED SKIN PARASITES -- MORGELLON’S DISEASE ATLANTA (GA) – The Georgia Department of Human Resources (DHR), Division of Public Health has developed the Unidentified Dermatosis Syndrome Surveillance Database. This surveillance project is designed to collect and analyze information about individuals who report seeing string- and thread-like parasites under their skin, in their urine, etc. Victims report that "something" is biting, stinging, or crawling inside their skin and they usually have numerous bite-like lesions and a specific set of accompanying symptoms. “Most of these individuals have sought medical attention without relief,” said Dr. Stuart Brown, director, Division of Public Health at DHR. “Often, they have been to several physicians and been referred for dermatologic and psychiatric care. DHR is requesting that medical and allied health professionals refer cases of string- or thread-like parasites under the skin, in the urine, etc. to DHR’s Chemical Hazard Program,” Brown explained. After referral, DHR will administer a survey about symptoms, add participants to the surveillance database, analyze the data to look for trends, and direct clients to education and networking services. “Hopefully, we can identify treatments that offer relief and provide a forum for information exchange between those with symptoms and their family members who struggle to understand these unusual and frightening symptoms,” stated Jane Perry, Director, Chemical Hazards Program at DHR, and manager of the initiative. Morgellon’s Disease symptoms are often described as delusory parasitosis. Victims are usually well adjusted, productive members of society with no history of drug use or psychiatric conditions. The nature and extent of these cases in Georgia is not well characterized. REPORTS OF UNIDENTIFIED SKIN PARASITE SURVEILLANCE Page Two The Chemical Hazards Program will examine whether these individuals may share hypersensitivity to chemicals in the environment. Suspect environmental chemicals include toxins produced by molds and fungi, pesticides, heavy metals, or common household chemicals. Preliminary results of interviews with cases in Georgia indicate that these individuals 1) have experienced symptom onset within the past several years; and, 2) live predominantly in central and north Georgia. If you or someone you know suffers from these symptoms of string- or thread-like parasites under the skin and other related symptoms contact: Jane Perry, Director Chemical Hazards Program Georgia Division of Public Health 2 Peachtree Street, NW, 13th Floor Atlanta, GA 30303 Fax: 404.657.6533 For more information about Morgellon’s Disease visit www.morgellons.org. Here is something else to look at. I was forwarded this also from Mary Leitao. Whether it was actually sent or not - is it another lie or cover up? I have no idea - I will let you people be the judge of that. Thank you all. Date: 6/1/2006 23:26:36 -0700 From: "Mary L" <mary@morgellons.org> To: dwr1@cdc.gov CC: jyg2@cdc.gov, mle1@cdc.gov, MFB8@CDC.GOV Subject: Dan Rutz quote: San Francisco Chronicle All headers Dear Dan, I cannot express how hurt I was when I read this quote by you in the SF Chronicle. sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/06/02/MORGELLONS.TMP"Not a day passes when I don't talk to somebody who claims to have this," said CDC spokesman Dan Rutz. "In the absence of any objective review, people have jumped to conclusions and found each other on the Internet and formed their own belief structure. We really need to debunk this if there isn't anything to it or identify if there is indeed a new, unrecognized disease that needs attention." Jumped to conclusions? Formed their own belief structure? I hardly think this is an accurate description of an effort that has involved daily work on my part for five years, while watching the health of my own three children decline daily. By the way, my seven year old son is now having neurological symptoms, including fasciculations, which is how Tom Dill's belief structure began. I'm sure you will recall that Tom Dill is the man who died after Christmas due to neurological complications of Morgellons disease. Please don't act as if you care about my sweet little boy, because it will not be sincere on your part. Your quote confirms everything I have been hearing about the things you have said about our efforts to the public, since the very beginning of your involvement in this situation. I feel strongly that you have clearly undermined our credibility with people who have contacted the CDC asking for input re Morgellons disease and the Morgellons Research Foundation. What hurts the most, is the fact that you have always acted so caring and sincere when you and I have talked. You have always said one thing to me, and said totally different things to others. This is a case of tell 'em what they want to hear. I find this all very painful and hope that you will one day understand the damage you have done to everything we have tried to accomplish. Would your own mother be proud of the things you have done to help or hurt our cause? I will leave you with that question and hope that you will do some kind of soul searching in future. Well what makes me d**n furious is that the CDC set up an email address for peole to contact them with questions or whatever to do with Morgellons.
They haven't even friggin replied to me, or even acknowledged that they received my email. I guess I will have to make yet another phone call to the USA, like all the phone calls I made to Mary Leitao, on my own money, and phoning other suffers in Australia on my own money.
Was this supposed CDC email just another spin for the media (Ken Cowles). I am sure Mary and her maggot friends are having a really good laugh on our expense. Well keep laughing you parasites because it is the sick and innocent people who will have the last laugh.
Oh and yes "Morgellons Disease" is a parasite - it consists of Mary Leitao, Ken Cowles and any other so called "expert" who joins hands with them to make a quick buck!
You are god d**n lucky I don't live in the USA, coz I would come kick you lot in the head so friggin fast!!

Hi Sarah, I know you are suffering. I am assuming that because you live in Australia and the CDC is a US Agency, they have no obligation to respond to you. I know that sucks for you. my symptoms have just been increasing at quite a rapid pace. Nothing is stopping this thing. I have no faith in the CDC and it is my opinion that they DO know what this is. I can't wait to hear the garbage they dump on us. Again, I am sorry for your situation. Stay Strong

I don't really understand how the CDC works - from what I have been told here and there, if there is a NEW infectious disease which will effect the entire world apparently they do make annoucements, or I guess the World Health also.
My health department said the CDC will let them know if Morgellons ever turns out to be real or a threat to anyone. Personally I don't think so.
We already have enough nasty bugs and diseases around, I don't really think we need another one.
I look forward to the day the media give us some good feedback on this whole very SILLY situation called Morgellons. (No offence intended here) BUT .....it did all start with a little boy named Drew (poor kid).
