While waiting for the clock to run out on the current administration the CDC and it's current appointed officials mysteriously decided to allocate a few dollars toward a loosely thrown together "study" into Morgellon's Disease.
Meanwhile, one would suppose that anyone who fits the criteria of the existing HMO subscriber is most likely silently boycotting this venture. Think about it.
The selected grouping which the CDC has requested for this study has already had damage done to their personal medical records via MISDIAGNOSIS and humiliation.
Who would return for more of the same? My answer is, not many, if any.
No subjects, no study. Period.
Then the CDC and it's NEW appointed officials from the NEW administration will have to regroup and either do it right or can the whole thing...until the public reassigns pressure on the subject...which is the natural course.
The current problem. You cannont preemtively hold the CDC accountable for malfeasance BEFORE they commit a crime or misdeed....they must first commit it.
Then there will be hearings due to public pressure and outrage, etc. I know it sounds archiac and backwards but that is the way the U.S. laws are set up.
So we wait and we watch and we ACT, via protest or contacting Congress, when the time is right.
How do I remain motivated. Motivated to keep getting up every morning and putting one foot in front of the other, all the while dealing with the endless symptoms of this dreaded disease.
Well, my answer is this. Pure unadulterated ANGER. Yep, you heard me. That keeps me motivated. Every generation has at least one group of people who are mistreated in some manner, some worse than others.
See yourself not as VICTIM or beleagered sufferer, but as a strong pioneer who will not only survive this but persevere and EXACT CHANGE by way of changing public policy or law by way of elected officials for generations to come by you mere presence and ACTIONS...
Your mere ability to cope and survive during these trying times will serve as testament to future generations not only by deed but by example.
Faith
