CLIFF MICKELSON - A Mysterious Disease Called "MORGELLON'S" or "THE FIBER DISEASE" - "Morgellons" or "Morgellons disease" is a controversial name that has been given to a speculated and equally controversial medical condition. Currently, there is no known etiology or treatment, and the diagnostic criteria has not yet been formally established. Patients who claim to have the disease describe the polysymptomatic syndrome as primarily characterized by skin lesions and the appearance of fibers, insects, and granules coming out of the skin. Most dermatologists do not think that the disease exists and attribute it to a variation of delusional parasitosis; [1], and no formal research has provided any conclusive determination. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has postponed their investigation into the phenomenon six times, since their initial goal date of June, 2006. The current start date is sometime within the first half of February, 2007. As of yet, nothing has been studied. Cliff is arguably the most prolific and dedicated writer, researcher and spokesman for the cause of Morgellons Disease. Several of his hypotheses regarding this condition have been supported empirically by scientists and forensic labs across the country. - www.cherokeechas.com/ or to contact Cliff Mickelson - CMicke1065@aol.com
