"Do you know if Morgellan's disease will show up using a florescent light ? And could these fibers be traveling from the digestive system to the skin like toxins?"
***
Good Morning Rob and 'dromero':
First, a short note to thank Rob McConnell and Xzone Radio once again for bringing this disturbing affliction to the attention of the public at large.
Yes....certain product of Morgellons disease is detectable with the use of a florescent, AKA ultraviolet light.
As listeners to XZone radio may know, the pathogen produces a family of 6 distinct "fiber" forms.
Two of these forms, we have termed "micro" fibers. These particular "micro fibers" generally exhibit a red or a blue coloration. Upon rare occasion other colors are produced.
Micro fibers, or "fibrils" if you prefer, can range in length from "microscopic" to up to several inches. At first glance they are very easily mistaken for textile fibers. However, they are NOT any known form of fiber found on Earth.
These colored micro fibers are also not to be confused with what we call the striated motile forms or similar but functionally different black, clear, or white fiber-like forms. All the micro forms are highly resistant to heat and do not carbonize. At 1,800 degrees of temperature, they begin to exhibit changes in structural form. The objects do not "burn."
These blue and red artifacts of the pathogen are highly fluorescent and are readily detectable with the use of a black light. They will brightly fluoresce in the same color as that which they are seen in normal light. This is due in part to the fact that the pigmentation is integral to the form. They are not dyed, stained, etc., in the usual sense.
These fibrils are formed in a gel matrix that is produced by another "fiber" form and is found on, and at times just barely under, the top layer of a victim's skin. The majority of colored forms are assembled in hijacked hair follicles. They can be found anywhere in and on a victim's skin, bronchial, and digestive tract.
They are produced in great quantity and are found in all body secretions. These secretions include tears, mucus, saliva, girl thingyl secretions, etc. They are often passed through the intestines. They have not been found in blood or in serum. Blood and serum appear to be the domain of one or more of the other manifestations of the affliction known collectively as the "larval" form.
The above is a brief synopsis as pertains to your questions. It is in no way fully detailed due to the constraints of time. You may feel free to post this information as you see fit.
Thank you for taking the time to inquire about the nightmare that is Morgellons. Please feel free to contact me at any time should you have further questions.
Best Regards:
