I recently noticed that these fibers attach and seem to burrow under my fingernails. It is amazing how quickly a one inch or so fiber can almost disappear. When I see one I grab it and pull it out and sometimes it is an inch or more long. I don't feel anything, so I am thinking that it is just like scrunching up under my fingernail and not entering my body. Very strange !

Amazing as I cannot even see the fibers without a microscope. Mine are so tiny I could not pick them up. Must be a different strain.

Sometimes I seem to pull one out and can't even seem to see it. (but FEEL it)
I still have very good close up vision, and when I look at the tip of my finger I can see the fine clear fiber waving in the air.
I wonder what I should do with these things after I extract them.
I don't have 1700 degrees here to melt them :-)
I have become bored with trying to scrutinize them under a microscope.
And I have already locked some up in a vial, and the next day they have reproduced !
Very strange...
