Hi Everyone~~
I have been posting on a thread I started on LymeBusters concerning my results from Dr. Cowden's protocol for LD. I decided that since Morgs is an 'unknown', I'd focus on treating the 'known'. Which for me is LD as well as Babesia.
So, what I thought I would do, is share by transfering most of my posts from LB's to here.
It's really helping me.
The post is anicdotal in nature.
I want to apologize ahead of time for typos -- the spell checl on this site does not work for me!
Hugs, life
I just finished C & P'ing all that I thought you might be interested in. Its long -- but, I hope my anecdotals will help someone decidde whether or not they would like to try this protocol.
I figured, if you read, and decide its not for you -- its cheaper than trying it with your own money.
On the other hand -- I wanted to share something that I am soooooooo glad that I tried, so that others may benefit from my healing process.

I’ve been holding off on reporting because I wanted to be sure that what I’m seeing is what I’m seeing. Or, what I’m NOT seeing.
I have been using Cumanda for 20 days, starting out at the top with 20 drops, two times a day, adding Samento the second week. In addition, I began using both topically on my face.
· After only 3 days of the Cumanda, the biofilm that covers my eyebrows, upper lip and chin began to dry and turn dark. However, when the biofilm was pulled off, it was leaving some places that were raw and red and sometimes bleeding.
· The black hair/tubes under the biofilm could be pulled out if I did this quickly. As some of you know, there is some “intelligence” to these hairs/tubes as they quickly retreat deeper under the skin when the tweezer fails to pull ‘em out the first or second yank.
· The biofilm returns within less than a minute and had to be peeled off again the next day after it turned hard and dry.
· Initially, within 5 days or so of starting the Cumanda, there appeared to be many more of the black hairs coming to the surface. This was a little worrisome. Oh, and lots more fine white fibers.
· After the first week of use, I noticed the dark brown spots all over my face and scattered over my body, especially arms, hands were fading. Some turned a lighter color and a lot of them could be pulled off, leaving pale spots all over. If these dark brown spots had a hair/tube under them, it is not easily visible.
· The darkest spots seem to be more resistant to the Cumanda/Samento. However, the longer I use this, even the darkest spots are turning to a scab and can be removed.
· It’s frustrating to remove the dark scabs and to find they have returned the next day. However, as I continue to peel them off, they seem to get smaller and smaller and leave what appears to be pink healthier skin.
· The most important piece of info I have to offer at day 20 is that there are less of the black hair/tubes growing back after being removed. This is a first! Nothing I have used thus far has had this kind of success. My upper lip is almost free of them for the first time. Eyebrows is a different story.
· This could be premature, but as of today it also appears that the new black hairs/tubes are breaking through the skin and not forming under biofilm. This make them much easier to remove.
I am more excited about this treatment than anything else I have tried. The salt/c protocol gave me back my energy but this Cumanda is visibly working from the inside out to kill or slow down the development of whatever it is on my skin. And, I noticed the improvement within only 3 days!
As we all know, sometimes a product works in the beginning and then fails. I hope this is not the case with Dr. Cowden’s protocol.
I’m going to continue the Cumanda, Samento and just started with the Burbur today. It’s expensive, however, it doesn’t taste bad if that's any consulation.

have had positive results within the first few hours, and continue to have results. Knock on tree-bark! Here is Dr. Cowden's protocol (its for LD) to read. Its very simple and easy to follow (so I can stay the course HA-HA). www.bionatus.com/nutramedix/moreinfo_eng/Lymeprotocolkinesiology3.htmCumanda, according to studies done, seems to be safe even at very high doses given to Ruts -- I mean rats. Quote from study: There are no known contraindications, no known side effects and no known interactions with other drugs when using Campsiandra angustifolia products like Cumanda. In May 2005, toxicology studies were conducted on Nutramedix Cumanda at the University of Guayaquil in Ecuador. No toxic effects were reported even when laboratory rodents received 240,000 times the equivalent human dose. Dr. Cowden recommends starting Cumanda @ 1 drop 2 X's per day, increasing to 20 drops 2 X's a day.
I started with 10 drops 2 X's a day, and went to the 20 drops 2 X's per day by the third day. I did not Herx, but that does not mean others won't.
He recommends taking Burbur for diminishing Herx symptoms, if you do.
Within 3 hours of my first Cumanda dose, my carbunkly-types started to soften to where I could pull parts of them off.
The 3rd morning, I woke up with a bit of stiffness in my right hand, and it looked a bit swollen (marginally), which lasted for about 3 days. I do have quite a large group of Morgs on my right hand, which makes it difficult for me to use it at times, and since it wasn't too bad, I decided to continue my dosage.
At that point, I upped the dosage gradually to 80 drops total per day -- no side effects and still no Herxing. But, I did not notice it being any more effective than at the recommended 40 drops per day, so I went back down -- and have stayed at -- 40 drops per

One thing I noticed, by the 3rd day, was that I was 'shedding' a lot of dibree. I usually shed (don't we all) SOME, but not like this. I can get by now with washing my sheets once a week, as well as my floors.
I had to start washing my floors every couple of days -- and the paper towels I use were covered in black specks and hairs -- in the kitchen. My bathroom floor was covered - literally - in white fibers that looked like cotton lint.
That slowed down quite a bit after a week -- 9-10 days of taking the Cumanda.
Another thing, my pee has a slight greenish color to it. Not super green, just very slight. I don't know if that is 'infection' leaving my kidneys or bladder, or if it is just the Cumanda giving my pee a slight greenish tinge to it. Like people who take Rifampin saying that things come out of them orange in color.
Also, while I have had little white specks and short black hairs come out in my urine for a while now, after taking the Cumanda for at least a week, they are a bit bigger. Could it be fungus, like Candida localized in my kidneys or bladder? Don't know. I had de-Candidaized myself years ago, and often wondered if it can set up shop and live, isolated, in different parts of the body even after it is greatly diminished in the gut.

Effects of Cumanda on meta-cognition and mood.
I need to add here that I have been doing QuestionHair's smoothie she has posted on the supplements page for over a month now. I have been having good results with it. I modified my smoothie from her original recipe just a bit, I added Cinnamon, ionic Copper, olive oil, and a raw free range egg to it.
TCM says that while you are 'moving' an infection (or whatever) out of your body, you should build your immune system. Makes sense to me.
Anyway, by the end of the first week on Cumanda, I could spell again, remember all my students' names, finish and complete a thought, no longer forget what the heck I went into the other room to get or to do, and type much faster and with more precision --- much less comes up in spell check.
And, by the 10th day on Cumanda -- out of the blue one day -- I was happy. I mean, happy like I used to be. (I was always happy.) It lasted only a couple of hours, but it was there.
And it gave me great hope. I forgot what it felt like to just be happy for no particular reason. Glorious.
While QH's smoothie had taken away my 'peeing my pants' on the way to the bathroom every day when I got home -- the Cumanda took that to another level. Now, when I get home, I've noticed that I don't have urgency at ALL. Gone. Gone. Gone.
Also, by the end of the 2nd week, I noticed my hair was softer again, no tangles from these things clinging to strands of hair, and I have little new baby hairs growing in around my face. And not so dry. I used to put Ojon oil -- 4 pumps worth -- in my hair after washing it just to put some oil back into it. I'm down to 2 pumps this week -- after 14 days on the Cumanda.
Is it the Cumanda? Or QH's smoothie? Or the ionic copper I added to the smoothie? Sorry -- I don't know because I'm doing them in conjunction with one another. Could be a combination of all three.
So, all in all, I can think clearer, I can spell again, and my mind-hand coordination is much better....which is when I started signing my posts here,

oday is my 18th day. Still just taking the Cumanda.
I have been broke (moving and car), so I had deleted buying sea salts for my baths, just taking them every couple of weeks since Thanksgiving. Well, finances back to normal, I decided to get back into the baths -- they have been the one thing that has been my saving Grace in the past
So, I took a bath 2 days ago, and this might sound 'odd', but after about 1/2 hour in the tub (I put in a few pounds of sea salt when I take a bath), I smelled a 'weird' smell. Okay, don't laugh too hard, but it smelled like 'toe jam'. It wasn't pungent, but it was there.
Yuck! And shortly after that, the bath water started to get 'cloudy' -- within 15 minutes, it was milky-white, so I got out not wanting whatever it was to have a chance to e-enter.
Since Cumanda is so effective for many forms of fungus, could it be that that is what exuded from my skin? I mean, so many of you have reported that there appears to be a fungal 'aspect' to Morgs. After all, many of you have reported that after taking certain 'zole'-drugs, you get better, and any drug that is a 'zole' is anti-fungal in nature.
I'm going to take another bath tonight and see what occurs, if anything. If nothing else, it will help my body detox and rid whatever may be surfacing on the skin.
Also, I had a 'cluster' of something on the small of my back. Couldn't see it, but there were about 6-7 from what I could feel, and they were raised tracks, all about 1 - 1 1/2 inch long. They are now all but gone. I can't find-feel anything there anymore. So, that's good.
I got a new hole on my neck, by my jaw, at the beginning of last week, and by the end of the week, it was gone. So, I'm hoping as I get re-infected at work, the Cumanda will help my body to not let it 'set in'. But, it could just be a coincidence. Time will tell.
Come to think of it, last week I cleaned out a pretty good sized storage room I have in my classroom, moving out boxes, old folders, papers, and the like. Whenever I do anything like that, I always get the paper-cut kinds on my hands and forearms. I did get a couple of 2 inch long paper cut tracks on the inside of my wrist, but by the next day they were completely gone. When I've gotten them in the past, I've put Iodine on them and they raise up, showing black specks with their tracks where they've burrowed along just under the skin. So, that is another possible good sign that the Cumanda doesn't let them set up 'camp' when they get on me.
I sure do hope so, but it still could be coincidence at this point. I'll keep watching -- I have plenty of opportunity since it is at work that I get re-infected weekly.
hugs to you all, life is good

Well, its been 21 days on the Cumanda.
All this week, I was having 'movement' in my gums, which is gone for now.
Also, I have always had a 'thickness' in my throat, at the top, where I swallow. The left side seems to have cleared up, but its still on the right side yet.
I haven't had any 'floaters' in my eyes since after the first couple of days.
It's Friday, and I only got one new lump on the crown of my head, which I will get rid of this weekend -- usually, I get several new ones on my head every weak from work.
I've noticed that the last couple of nights, I have not had any 'movement' sensation inside my ears.
A couple more have 'dried up' -- one on my shin and one on my collar bone.
Also, a very old one -- over two years -- on my neck, just below my right ear, has turned into two 'pimples' and they seem to be disappearing.
Like ReliefSeeker, I started to have 'crawlies' all last week -- in the evenings. Not bad enough to keep me from going to sleep -- but I hadn't had them in a while. That seems to not be as prevalent tonight either.
I'm not as 'irritable' -- teaching middle school can get to ya'! All this week, I noticed that things don't seem to bother much anymore, and I can relax and focus on completing tasks better.
That's nice. I feel on 'top of things', instead feeling overloaded and overwhelmed either.
My hair is still stiff and combs through without anything in it.
My manual dexterity seems to be back to normal, so much so that I am going to start practicing my cello again! (I did warn my new next-door neighbors, though )
I'm not sure if you all are interested my continued posts -- but, I will continue for a while, assuming.....

So I've been on Cumanda for 25 days now. Still @ 20 drops 2 X's a day.
I had crawlies in the 3rd week -- they are gone now. At least, for now anyways.
Sometimes, now the big ones will 'hurt' like they are fighting against what I am doing. Also, last week, the big ones seemed to get 'deeper' somehow, but at the same time they are continuing to bring things to the surface.
I had a few patches on my fingers surface where nothing had been there before. They looked like when you get a very mild blister and then top layer of skin peels off. No inflammation. Pulled and gently scraped the skin off and they were gone.
I have a large portion of my hand -- the one that has 5 big and deep lesion/carbuncles on it -- that has that lizardy skin on it -- a patch of about 2 1/2 inches by 1 inch in size. That has gone down to about 1 1/4 inches by 3/4 inch.
Toward the end of last week -- for a couple of nights, I found a lot of debree on my sheets in the morning. It was different than the black specs or short bristle-hairs. It was off white -- not the little white round seed kind -- irregularly shaped and about 1/16" in diameter. Probably 30-40 of them each of the two nights. They had red in/on them: blood? red fibers? I don't use a microscope (sorry about that.) Never had that before.
The last three days, its been effecting my fingernails. My left thumbnail got really dry and thin at the end and flaked off (just the white part of the nail.) Yesterday, I had thicker-than-hangnails come to the surface on several nails, which I pulled off and they didn't bleed. Last, night, all my nails were extremely dry all around the nail beds/cuticles like they were covered in chalk-dust (I don't use chalk at all.)
Today my one thumb has hard white hangnail type things coming out -- not where hangnails are, but from under the cuticle itself onto the nail. Also, a back speck came out with it. Both thumbnails and all my fingernails look 'inflamed' on all three sides of the nails. This morning, I saw a black bristle one surfacing by my thumbnail. It must of come out because its gone now
By the beginning of last week, you know the 'normal' hairs that will creep toward your mouth all the time? -- they have stopped doing that.
Every few days my nose will get dry and I have to (gross) dig out the dried up stuff. For one day, I had green stuff in my nose, and the first week, I did deal with a bit of blood coming out when I cleaned my nose -- but just the first week.
Every few days, the large ones on my legs will have dry layers of skin around the edge that I can just pull or gently scrape off.
So, all in all, its still working. Not as fast as in the first week. Its still making things surface though.
I had some Valentine cookies today -- set me back -- I went into Blockbusters to get a video for my classroom tomorrow and had to wander around for about a minute to remember what the name of it was -- haven't had that issue since about 10 days of doing the Cumanda.
I feel kind of silly "reporting" like this -- but, you all have been so encouraging. I have to tell myself its okay (but, I feel very self-centered on this thread and I hope I don't come off that way at all to you.)

So, its Valentine's Day -- and I've pigged out big time on sugar. For three days now, I've eaten everything.
What happened? Just a couple of mild brain-farts is all, like not being able to spell, not remembering names of my students, what I was talking about (if interrupted), forgetting what I was forgetting to go do. But, that's it. And, come to think of it, with all that nasty sugar -- I did not get any joint pain or myalgias like I normally would have in the past. No changes in BM's either
No floaters came back, and my skin is still purging where there are sores -- mine are mostly carbuncles. And... I can still type fast.
So, back to no more sugar for me!
Its too bad doctors won't take samples, isn't it? I mean, it would be nice to know what the Cumanda is helping my body fight against.
I had one last one on my forehead -- had it for a couple of years -- that seems to be almost gone.I can still feel a thin 'hardness' under the skin and little villus white hairs are sticking out of it, but they seem to pull out without the usual resistance.
I got a new 'pimple' by my temple very near to the one that came and went recently. It seems to not have taken hold and to be going away.
More 'grains' coming out of my eyes, in the corners, and along the eyelashes. My eyelashes are still pretty thin, but I they don't pull out at all -- used to be that 3-4 would pull out. Actually, it was more like they fell out.
Haven't had movement inside my ears this week at all.
My nose still gets dry stuff in it every couple of days, that I remove as gently as possible. Seems I can breath better through my nose too lately.
Last time I posted, my fingernails were inflamed and stuff was drying up around my cuticles. Also, white, thick, bigger than hangnails were coming out. My right thumbnail's cuticle is still purging dry hangnail types, but from underneath the cuticle where the nail grows.
My right thumb nail has vertical ridges in it that appeared yesterday -- don't know what that is.
My baby toe nails have stayed uncurled and they are no longer brownish. One of them was really thick and that seems to be almost gone. My corns don't seem to be growing back (my acupuncturist told me once that corns are fungus), so that makes sense. Also, the heals of my feet, balls of my feet and between, on top of, the front of, and the bottom of all my toes are ex-foliating white skin? fungus? on their own. Just rub a little area and it sheds off.
I still have a long way to go -- but, at least I'm going... I guess.
I can't remember the last time I had night-sweats, and I'm not overly cold anymore.
The burning sensation under my skin seems less. It used to feel like someone has poured liquid acid under my skin -- always came at night for some reason ever since I tried a drug called Alina 6 months ago.
Some of the dark 'tracks' under my skin are lightening -- not all of them, just some, -- and where they are lightening is random..
So, this week positives are no ithchys, no crawlies, no sensations of biting, no movement feelings, and my nose is easier to breath through. Still in a good mood, and sleeping through the night and waking up feeling refreshed. Nice.
This Friday will be four full weeks -- so, the question of the month is.... do I continue to stay on the Cumanda? or switch out to the Quina or Samento -- or add one of them to the Cumanda?
life is good
Haven't figured that out yet.

Friday and end of the 5th week.
Its still drying things up slowly.
Things are still being pushed up through the lesions, black specks and short hard white hangnail looking things.
A new one on my neck started on Tuesday and is almost gone. A couple of old ones have opened up and I've been able to peel sections of them off.
Everything is getting better slowly, and I am definitely not getting worse in any areas -- except for my nail beds still being mostly white colored.
My forehead is completely clear with almost no visible scarring at all. No new ones along my temples this week.
Liver palm is greatly diminished, just barely pink in a few areas, which I attribute to the Burbur. There are a few 'dents' on my fingers along the cuticles where I think some things left the area or died and dried up.
I have all the feeling back in my fingers. No more numbness at all.
Fingers and hands are not swollen at all and my hands almost feel 'dry'. Hard to explain. There is normal surface oils, but they feel drier and lighter some how.
Baby toenails look normal -- yeah. Corns are not growing back. I still have calluses on my heals and balls of my feet, but they are rubbing off with my hands layer by layer.
My nose is really clear, so much so I can breath through it again.
Still can't pull out any eyelashes and (I may be dreaming on this one) they seem to be growing back. Haven't had any thick, white eyebrow hairs for the past couple of weeks.
Just washed my kitchen floor for the first time in a week, maybe 50 black specks on the paper towels -- and some was probably coffee grinds. Just checked, and no black specks or fibers on my kitchen counter which I last washed down about 4-5 days ago.
So, unless its just a 'phase', I seem to be 'shedding' a lot less this past week than I was in the forth week. Worst shedding took place in the first and second week -- tons everywhere in those weeks.
Hugs to you all, life

First day of my ninth week on Cumanda and the second week of Samento.
I'm still @ 20 drops of Cumanda 2 X's a day. I take 10 drops of the Burbur 3 times a day -- need to increase it -- just ordered some more.
I did 5 drops @ bedtime of Samento all last week -- today was the first morning I woke up with out a headache or stiff neck, so I'm going to try 10 drops tonight and see how I do.
After up for 1/2 hour this morning, I was itchy pretty much all over. Not the usual itchy -- very mild and showering with the New Hope soap got rid of it.
After work, I was fine, but now I am having pains inside the carbuncles of my upper arms, and the ones on my right hand. They are all hard and crusty and rough with things trying to get out.
I can rub anywhere on my face -- no oils just bare fingers -- and granules of 'sand' come off, and what seems like dead skin, but I think it is the Morgs.
I have no Morgs on the knuckles of my right hand, and yet it hurts all along that area -- can't make a fist very well -- too 'stiff'. This happened once before in the earlier weeks -- things must be drying up inside like on the outside.
Sand-like particles coming out of my eyes -- doesn't hurt.
I was a bit fatigued all last week -- that went away this morning, and that little 'Happy' feeling is back again.
All the ones on my legs are raised, but with flat smooth surfaces and appear to be 'dormant' the last few days.
All the activity is from the waist up right now, front and back. Some 'burn' -- not intolerably so -- just haven't had them do that in a while.
Fingernails are brittle today, and appear thinner. My thumbnails are pealing off a bit and a couple big ones are coming out around my cuticles again.
I guess I'm going into a new 'cycle' of healing -- at least, that's what it seems like.

I took 15 drops of Samento @ bedtime -- no Herx this morning, but I had trouble sleeping through the night -- kept waking up.
My right hand is still too stiff to make a fist -- 3rd day of that one.
So, I'm going to go for 20 drops tonight and see what happens. I want to slowly push it up to where I Herx -- not badly, just so I know its working. I read somewhere, months ago, that with Samento, you need to take enough so your Herxing a bit. So, that is the dosage I am aiming for.
Still on the Cumanda and Burbur.
I took my class to an assembly today to watch a play. I sat in the middle aisle, next to some misbehaving students (not mine ), and I was getting 'hits' on my face. When I would swipe at my face, I would get hard, crystal like things off my cheeks and neck. Eewww! I was so glad to get outa there!
I've got one student in my classroom who has this. She has white dots all over her upper arms where she said they use to be pimples. Also, she feels itchy when she comes to my classroom and gets rashes and bites -- mostly on her legs and her arms.
She said that is why she is always ditching my class -- she ditches a lot. I keep sending her to the nurse, but since she has such a bad reputation about class attendance (not just mine), the nurse thinks she is using it for an excuse. I wrote the nurse a note, asking her to please take this students seriously concerning her skin.
Another student asked to move away from the computers in the class -- she said she felt itchy, and biting, and things on her skin.
I've talked about this before, but I've got to figure out how I can slowly get my classroom environment clear of theses critters, so I stop getting reinfected so badly at work. I decided, rather than the menthol crystal crystal, to use oil of Rosemary.
I can control how much oil of Rosemary I use -- and get feedback from the kids -- so far, they really like how it smells. Some of my kids have even told me the really like it because they can breathe better!
I have to be careful as to what I do in the classroom, if a student complains to their parent, and their parent complains to the school administration, I won't be able to use anything in the classroom to clear it.
I noticed that I don't have such a strong sense of 'burning' sensation on my legs since I started using it this week. Also, both girls, who have itchies, have told me they have less of them since the Rosemary -- could be psychological -- or could be its really helping. Time will tell.
If anyone knows of a diffuser that is electric and that I could turn on Friday when I leave that can hold enough crystals to be left on over the weekend -- that would be my next step. As for now, I haven't figured that one out yet -- it has to be able to be left unattended for 3 days for it to work for me. Anyone know of one?

3/15 25 drops of Samento last night -- no Herxing except for that horrible burning sensation just under my skin throughout the trunk of my body. It was gone by morning.
Still taking Cumanda.
Several carbuncle-lesions have gotten smaller in size. Most are between a dime and a quarter. A couple have gotten very smooth on the surface, and flat and after I take a shower, what looks like white dead skin sloughs off of the ones on my legs.
My bladder is even better today. I came home from work, and puttered around for a couple of hours before I even needed to go to the bathroom. There was absolutely no urgency at all.
The last one on my forehead is gone and the three old ones that had left there tell-tale dark tracks have completly disappeared.
I've been having trouble waking up in the morning. It takes me about an hour to really get myself going, and my upper eyelids are puffy mornings -- which is new.
I have little bumps forming under my skin on my chin area, so I'm assuming the Cumanda is forcing them to the surface in that area.
The gnarly one on my nose/cheek has gotten smaller and is no longer causing that half of my face to feel like it has a migraine. Also, it was causing my jaw to stiffen up and that' gone as well this past week.
Still no floaters.
I haven't felt any itching at all this past week.
Last week, my skin started to get back its oiliness it used to have. Could that be the Samento? since it was a good week ago that I added it?
Fewer and fewer black specks are on my sheets in the mornings -- maybe five or so is all.
My teeth are not as 'brown' looking.
Dry green gunk still coming out of my nose -- can breathe easily through my nose..
My right hand is still a bit stiff ( the one with all the carbuncles that are really deep) and my meta-cognition is continuing to go down hill. I'm really switching nouns and time quite a bit this past week -- which is a classic Lyme symptom, so I'm hoping its just healing crisis from the Samento attacking the LD.
life is still good -- even if I can't remember nouns worth a squat.

From a Yahoo group Lyme newsletter on Samento, Cumanda, and Burbur: www.prweb.com/releases/2007/3/prweb512323.htm Clinical Study Tests Herbal Protocol for Effectiveness in Treatment of Chronic Lyme Disease; Successful Protocol Interests Doctors and Lyme Patients Seeking Alternatives to Antibiotics Clinical trial underway to test effectiveness of specific herbal protocol in the treatment of Lyme Disease. Herbs under scrutiny are Samento, Cumanda and Burbur. Lyme-literate physicians and study director discuss the protocol's success. Study interests doctors and Lyme patients seeking successful alternatives to the use of orthodox antibiotics. Asheville, NC (PRWEB) March 19, 2007 -- A year-long clinical study is underway to test the effectiveness of an herbal protocol in the treatment of Chronic Lyme disease. Samento, Cumanda and Burbur are under scrutiny, herbs that have long been used in South America in the treatment of malaria and other serious diseases. Study results are encouraging to Lyme experts and patients seeking safe alternatives to conventional medicine. According to the study director, pharmacist Philip Kielman of the Netherlands, the twelve week preliminary report shows a sixty five percent reduction in symptoms in the treatment group, and a twenty percent reduction in symptoms in the placebo group. "I think that's great," says Kielman, noting that conventional pharmaceutical drugs are often approved with a treatment group success rate of only thirty percent. Physician and medical researcher Wm. Lee Cowden uses Samento to treat patients diagnosed with Lyme disease, and has refined his protocol by adding Cumanda, Burbur and other herbs. Dr. Cowden says the herbs used in his protocol are available through Nutramedix, which imports them directly from Peru to the US and the UK. Jean Reist, RN, of Pennsylvania, recommends that her patients who have been diagnosed with Lyme use Burbur to encourage lymph drainage, which, she explains, is "critical for healing from Lyme disease." Dr Andrew Wright of the UK, has used Samento to treat over five hundred patients diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease. "Samento is safe and well-tolerated in most patients," he says. LDRD offers two tiers of service: 1) Free basic information about the disease for visitors to the web site 2) Membership to the website. Members gain access to Conversations with Experts, a unique audio interview series in which Lyme disease experts discuss all aspects of the illness, including diagnosis, prevention and treatment. Private health and wellness advocates have been gathering information on conventional and integrative approaches to heal from Lyme disease since 2005.

After nine weeks on Cumanda, adding Samento the last two, I decided to give my body a break.
I took ten days off of everything except the Burbur.
By the tenth day, my ears were starting to have a bit of itchiness in one and just a tad of popping in the other.
The last day off, there was a surge in what felt like stings and bites -- not too bad, and I wonder if they were coming from within me, or from without me.
A mild case of floaters came back -- actually this morning after taking the Cumanda is when I noticed them, so perhaps its right back to pushing them up and out again.
I started back up @ 20 drops -- had my first headache from it, so took the Burbur and it went away.
While I was off for those ten days, the lesions on my legs continued to heal up as well as my right hand.
The only thing I did differently during those ten days was to add extra strength Copper and Water of Life minerals from WaterOz to my morning smoothie. I started with 1 T. each and bumped it up over the weekend to 2 T. each.
My hair was kind of kinky at the nap of my neck and that has all but disappeared, which I've learned in the past is from the Copper. I'm hoping the Copper will help with my pre-mature graying hair and the loss of collagen -- I believe its instrumental for both. Hope so.

So I've been back on the protocol for 3 days. The Herx from the Samento only lasted a couple of days. None today.
What I'm doing now: 20 drops of Cumanda 2 X's a day; mornings and when I get home from work (about 4 in the afternoon.) 20 drops of Samento @ bedtime. Burbur, about 10 drops under the tongue and holding it there as long as I can whenever I think to take it -- about 4-5 times a day.
Yesterday and today, I was extremely tired when I got home from work -- could be the work load as I have been working very hard, performing many extra activities which prevent me from having any breaks during the work day.
I took a nap today after work. I woke up with the sun shining brightly in my bedroom and saw several white lint-type fibers floating around above me in the sunlight. What I found interesting was this: when I would put my finger 'near' one to see if it would be attracted to me, it would be repelled by me.
At first, I thought it might be air-streams caused by the movement of my hand, so I continued with my 'experiment' by moving my index finger toward a fiber very, very slowly. When my finger would get within an inch or two of one of the lint fibers, it would 'jump' up and away from where it was slowly floating down in the air.
I mention all this because it seems ( to me anyway) that when I take the Cumanda, it causes them to push out from my body. Which may be why, by day 3, I am again able to rub my jawline area with just my dry fingers and 'rub off' outer skin, which I actually think may be small fibers coming to the surface of the skin in an attempt to get away from the Cumanda environment in my body.
I hope so, because what that means to me is that eventually (could take years but progress is all I'm looking for right now) the Cumanda environment will cause them to leave the internal organs, bones, etc. -- in the long run.
Perhaps that is why when I take the Cumanda, I find more lint-size fibers in my urine as my kidneys filter it out.
Just some thoughts and speculations on my observations is all that it is right now.

Well, I finally started Herxing today. Not fun, but not too bad.
So, I get to join the "Headache Club" girls.
They're both in front and in the back, sometimes on my right side and they alternate back and forth.
The one thing that I did differently today was that I added about 1/2 t. Turmeric to my morning smoothie. So, I guess its really effective, but I think I'll cut it out until the headaches are gone and then go down to 1/4 t.; see what that does.
I tried it because Turmeric is great for the skin, works against round worms, pin worms, and those on a daily Indian diet have the world's lowest numbers for Alzheimer's.
Back to having large clump-like 'hangnails' coming out around my cuticles again.
My hands feel 'hot', like they have a fever -- that one is totally new.
Also today, I have had a tightness under my skin from the top of my right hand (I've got 4 really old and deep carbuncle-types that have been there for over a year) that extended through my wrist and up the entire top surface of my arm about 3/4 Th's the way to my elbow.
Aches, pains in joints and what feels like in my bones too. I don't think its the Cumanda though, I think its the Turmeric.
Or maybe its the combination of the two together. Yikes!
but life is still good cause my skin's lookin' better and better

This is the beginning of my 11th week.
When I started the Cumanda, I had 11 on my left leg (from my knee to my ankle) and I'm down to 2.
My right leg had 8 and I'm down to 5 -- 3 of which have diminished to the point they are just a small bump under the skin.
How I count them: if they are dark, but flat to the skin and I can not feel anything under the skin and no specks or anything -- I don't count them.
The one on the small of my back that had resurfaced while off the Cumanda for 9 days is gone. When I started the Cumanda, I had about 6-8 (hard to count there) and they were from bug bites I continue to get in my classroom.
I don't want to jinx my healing process, but thought I should report it. If this continues, I might even be able to wear skirts again -- maybe by summer?
The 6 on the top of my right hand are down to 3, the 3 left being the worst of them. My right hand is still a bit stiff when I make a fist, but not swollen at all.
They are still coming out around my cuticles and I pulled several 'calluses' off of the tips of my fingers yesterday.
I have had none on my scalp since last week, but that has happened to me in the past.
They keep coming out of my chin -- looks like pimples I've picked at.
No itching at all.
Only one black speck on my sheets this morning.
Back to having that feeling of overall 'happiness' for no apparent reason, which started last night.
I was extremely tired most of last week and that is going away this week -- much more energy, although no where near what I used to have naturally.
life is good -- this week anyways

Only one or two black specks on my sheets when I check mornings -- this has been all week.
I walked around my apartment barefoot this morning -- very little debree at all in the entire house.
I had four new ones on my chin the past couple of weeks. They all went away last night except one that is open, not draining, and flat with a small black speck in its corner that I can see.
All the others are getting smaller; slowly, slowly. Its random. Sometimes on my legs, sometimes on my arms, etc.
A few floaters showed back up this week, and my eyesight is a bit on the cloudy side.
I've added Horsetail tea after my evening meal starting last night (has loads of natural silica in it), with about 1 Tb. of Swedish Bitters. I wonder if that has anything to do with my chin area clearing up.

Good Friday, I tried taking ionic Copper from WaterOz by itself at a very high dosage. I've been putting 1 Tb. of it in my morning smoothie for a couple of weeks now and thought I'd try it by itself.
So, 1 Tb. of the extra strength (400 ppm) in an 8 oz. glass of H2O; sipped for an hour and repeating the same dosage 3 hours later.
That was Friday afternoon. Saturday morning, when I woke up, I had tons of stuff on my sheets -- black, white, cream colored -- looked like I had sprinkled sand from the beach on my sheets (my sheets have been turning up only one or two specks each morning for a week now). Back to finding only one very large black speck today.
Also, I had several red marks on my legs, by my knees and on my inner thigh the day after I took the high dose of Copper. They were about 1/2 in length and dark red in color. Today, Sunday, they are almost gone. They did not turn into bruises, stayed dark red as they disappeared. They are not fading, just disappearing.
Could it be the Copper killed something in my bloodstream?
Also, my right jawbone, where it hinges to open and close was bruised the day after taking the Copper, very sensitive to to touch, but no pain to open and close my mouth at all. The bruise feels very deep in the bone. Something else killed there?
I wonder. I am going to wait until the bruising in the jawbone is completely gone and take the high dose of Copper again. I'll post when I do.
This weekend is my week end to be off the Cumanda for 36 hours, so I decided to take the Homeopathic Pyrogenium during the 36 hour period. I had results from it in the past -- it is a blood cleanser that Homeopaths will use as a last resort when nothing else works.
Positive results from the Pyrogenium @ 30C; 3 tabs 3 X's a day.
Happy Resurrection Sunday, life

Started my 12th week.
On my 36 hour break from Cumanda, I took Pyrogenium. Did not notice much, but I am going to continue with it every other weekend as it cleanses the blood.
I started Artemisinin again. I decided to put it into my Cumanda protocol at the first 5 days of the two week cycle -- only because I don't have to think about when to take it and when to rest from it. The 5 days that I take the Atemisinin, I am going to take the Quina with it instead of the Samento, as Quina is for Babesia.
Here is an article I found this week about Art -- if interested, scroll down in the article and you will find very succinct advice concerning when to take it, what to take it with, and what not to take with it.
I am having trouble staying on line -- keep getting dropped -- can't find it blah blah blah -- I'll post when I can find it again.
Art: I took one capsule Monday. 2 capsules Tuesday, and 3 capsules tonight.
It's recommended to take it between 10-11 PM, with oils (I eat some cottage cheese with it, and Omegas are good to take with it.) Should otherwise be on an empty stomach.
I also read that Art works best in an Alkaline environment -- something I am not, so I have started taking Cream of Tartar.
I saw the posts on Baking Soda and read up on it, but when I emailed my doc, he said not to do it. I asked why, but he did not respond -- guess he wants me to do my own research on it.
First day I took Cream of Tartar, within 1/2 hour my heart started racing a bit and the pulse was very strong. This lasted for 1/2 hour. I got very hot and started sweating which lasted for about an hour. I had a headache in both the frontal lobes as well as the base of the scull which lasted a couple of hours.
I put one tsp. of Tartar in H2O and sipped it. Got only 1/4 of the glass done when all of the above started to occur, so I stopped for that day.
I finished the rest of the glass on Monday morning. NO headaches, no racing heart, but I was sweating profusely at work by about 9 AM -- lasted about 1/2 hour.
Tuesday and Wednesday -- I drank 1 tsp. in a glass of water over a couple of hours period of time. No heart racing, no headaches, and just a bit of sweating.
An hour or so after the Art tonight (3 capsules + 25 drops of Quina) I woke up to feel little 'explosions' happening in different parts of my body. I really don't know how else to describe them. They occurred in my right wrist, my right temple, my right eyeball ( in the middle and in the back of it), my throat where you swallow, and what felt like around my heart area.
Didn't last long and had no pain involved in the little 'explosions'. Must be blowing something up! They say that Art gets inside cells that like iron (cancer and Malaria/Babs) and literally explodes them with its molecular chain of peroxide so I viewed this activity as a really good thing.
Still took the Cumanda (25 drops) in the morning along with the Burbur before and after meals during the day.

Last week, I took five days of Artemisinin, switching my nighttime Samento to Quina 25 drops.
Stayed on Cumanda and Burbur.
3 sea salt baths
I also started adding Cream of Tartar -- 1 tsp. sipped throughout the day.
The week before last, my urine smelled of ammonia, so I started taking Molybdenum to help the liver get rid of the uric acid - seems to be gone now.
Back on the Samento last night.
I had a really good day today. 5 loads of laundry, vacuumed and washed floors, grocery shopped, and set up and then led a 4 hour seminar. I woke up at 6 AM, its 8 PM now and I'm not tired at all.
Less fatigue, eyesight is not blurry nor are there any floaters, bathroom urges are much less frequent, fewer brain-farts, brighter outlook on life in general, and my back is not so stiff.
So, I must be in an up cycle, which is interesting, because don't we normally have it rougher with moon cycle?
No itching, ear-popping, crawling sensations, but I do see quite a few white 'lint' floating up and around when I come home and sit in the sunlight. I decided to hit and shake at what was around me, my chair, ottoman, clothes. It flew up off my clothes. I think I must be picking it up at work still.
The pigeons are back -- I hate those things now that I know they carry the bugs that vectored this cr@p to me.
hugs, life
