tHERE are different variances of henna, you know I did not know that...and I discovered quite by accident how henna can be benneficial for treating the skin of those who are affected with morgellons
you can do your own research on henna, and find out how it has been used medicinally for centuries.
Here is how I came upon henna.
Since this whole thing began it took it's toll on my feet, face and hands. There is so much wrong with these areas its quite scary, and I look the part of a drug addict. which I'm not.
I don't have gaping lesions anywhere else but those areas, I have small bumps on my hairline which are tender to the touch..
So the rest of my body is clear of lesions, except for a funny thing that happens when I get out of the shower. I break out in big splochy what looks to be hives, but I know they aren't.
My hubby and I bought our first home not too long ago, so we try to cut corners and save whenever we can, hence the discount stores I frequent.
I had picked up a good deal on shampoo and conditioner and even though I have light hair, I bought it anyway. It contained henna. I got the "good deal" home, and if anyone is like me...bad at waiting, I hopped in the shower to give it a try. I'm one of those "label readers" so while in the shower I'm looking at the ingredients.....blah, blah, this...blah, blah that....and then I read more and it says it's non coloring henna. I didn't know they had non coloring henna....I was kinda wondering cause the conditioner was white....
So I'm like "cool", I flip open the lid and do the routine. washy, washy, washy...when I noticed, and this was almost immediate, the cooling effect, so I get the conditioner out, which was so thick I could've been a polmade, and I put that on.
AND FOR ALL YOU GIRLS OUT THERE...I'M TALKIN' WHOA! (yes 75yrs. is still considered a girl)
My untamable rats nest of super strawlike stiffasaboard hair, was smooth. I'm talkin' smooth...I gotta say I love me some smooth.
So I put some on my face, the conditioner, and again ,feels smooth....and felt CLEAN! cLEAN!CLEAN!
It kept getting better, and I had no idea, didn't make the connection until recently it was the henna. And a little digging on the internet on it, now I understand why.
Just to let you know, I went back to that store and bought it all. All gone......no more henna for you if you live around me
I use some other stuff too called hibiclense, every once in a while and that in conjunction with the diluted henna conditioner, it pulls these white fleshy stringy things out of old sores and what seems to be unaffected skin. if I put henna around my lips the same white stringy fleshy thingies come from around that area and inside my mouth.
I know this is no cure, that's a ways off, but I thought I would post on my findings.
I've noticed online you can buy the powder form, but I have no idea what kind is the non coloring kind.
I have limited access to the internet, so researching things lately have come to a screeching hault.
could someone help me out in this department.
thx,
Ali
