I bucked the Depopulation Theory for as long as I could.
Whiterose's Daylily post (the Gulf Wars thread) has pretty much finally changed my mind. If you haven't read the book excerpt, it's pretty eye-opening. Check it out.
Sadly, it's looking more and more feasible. The upside is that - if it's true, the "big guys" are just as vulnerable as we and they probably have much weaker coping skills/survival instincts than we do, because we're here at the gym, working out and building muscles. ROTF
I also see a parallel between the Rapture theory and the Depopulation theory, with a neo-twist, which only kicks my stubborn bone into high gear.
I will not only survive this, I will be a stronger, healthier and better person when I'm done, ready to help others less fortunate.
And look at the wonderful people I've met along the way!! OK, I don't want to get too mushy or group-huggy. :-)

On a more serious note my friends, when I got sick 25 years ago at the young age of 22, I did my own investigation. What I found were the same players Garth Nicolson found, certain government enities, the military, and the mafia. What if this has been systematically done across the USA and possibly the world. Perhaps only a few actually realize the extent of their involvement and the rest are just puppets that have gotten a nice little kickback, but are to da--- dumb to know exactly what they have done.
