I saw a picture yesterday of Mars on raw story. It showed a ragged cut grey mountain with what looked to be an orange fungus type growth. The mountain actually looked like the mountains above and behind where I live. My home sits on an Aspen covered area with pines all about. It is beautiful and only a few miles from the desolate area. Maybe my imagination has gotten away from me here but what if the rest of Mars looks like where I live?
I went to the general board on this site and glanced down at all the articles. We've either got a lot of extremely stupid, arrogant people with a very myopic view of the world, or here is my imagination---or perhaps they have someplace else to go. Why would they want to destroy our world before they leave? Is it there entertainment or they don't want anyone to follow them?
We know they can't find the pictures from the moon landing, maybe film specialists could figure out it was a fraud or something else.

Whiterose, what you are asking is part of stuff that I have been researching for 18 years.......ever since I had a Near Death Experience that changed the way I look at e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I can only liken it to Alice going down the rabbit hole. It can be a lonely path but so interesting for those on it. Most people just don't want to know, as you probably are already aware.

You are absolutely right, people just don't want to know. All these articles that the good people here have posted about these other folks who dump on our world. They take so much for granted. The other night I looked over on the window sill and I saw a beautiful beatle. The back of it reminded me of some of the designs you might see in an Indian rug. I put my pen over next to it, just to turn it around and get a better look. It was afraid and backed off. I talked to it for awhile and then I went on to reading my book. Five minutes later it flew onto me as if to say Hi.
This seems like such a simple (maybe a bit strange to some) story. I guess the whole point is people take so much for granted. I like you have been close to the other world. It is funny how it does open your eyes up and give you a new appreciation for what is around and the many possiblities.
Thank you for understanding, Aussie

Check it out-- "Genetically modified grass escapes golf courses, grows in the wild"- "Grass that was genetically engineered for golf courses is growing in the wild, posing one of the first threats of agricultural biotechnology escaping from the farm in the United States, a new study says." www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,208953,00.html

Doncha just love it................. "The Scientific Cost of Not Pursuing GM Wheat Forrest Chumley, associate director for research at Kansas State University, says that in science, success is the best recruiting tool, and failure to develop and commercialize biotech traits may lead to a decline in wheat research investments, reduced student enrollments, and lost research opportunities in the future. Chumley discussed "the scientific cost of not pursuing genetically-modified wheat" during the research forum at the Grain Congress. In science, there is a certain amount of competition for research talent, he says, and success is the best recruiting tool. Without biotech, Chumley speculated, "can we continue to attract the best and brightest to wheat research and education?" Chumley also speculates that the wheat research field may stagnate and be bypassed by the Ag research community’s "best and brightest" without biotechnology. I think we have all been uttering the same words for years..."man will self destruct"...and it has been pedicted by that fellow whats his name - Nostradamus??my spelling) - sorry!
And the "Experts" - "Professionals" - "Idiots" are still doing nothin and still not listen. Do they not realise that all that money is no use to them without a world to live in.
The cold hard truth of it all is that we are so d**n close to destrution. Well thats if north korea don't press that button first.
Anyway enough of that, it makes me sad, I know its the truth, but I much prefer to think of pleasant things.

Without a world to live in.....isn't that the truth....
a proboard of caring people can see the big picture but "THEY" don't??....
TIME TO RATTLE SOME CAGES bring these so called experts out of the trance they live in....WHAT compels those to continue something so detramental be it organisms for wastewater, organisms for oil spill clean up, nanoviruses to eat bacteria on meat products......do "THEY" not relize we (animals included) are perfect HOSTS for these organisms
WHAT ARE "THEY" THINKING......once released into our environment there is NO WAY of gathering these organisms back.....just their macro size alone can make these organisms air bound to god knows where during bad weather certainly NOT WHERE "THEY" INTENDED that is for sure....
and that such organisms will do anything to survive even mutate if necessary....
Might as well take these SAFE ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANISMS and use them for bio warfare.....or are these the by product of such an adventure......who knows.....

The future of the world belongs to us. It is time to know which future we want for our planet, for ourselves and for the future generations. It is time that the citizens cease blindly entrusting the management of the world to politicians with the service of particular interests. To give again a direction with the democracy, the citizens must cease being passive and spectators, as the flexible herd which one would like that they are. They must think so that they really want and to act in a coherent way as consumers, employees, taxpayers, and voters. The directions taken by the economy, the company, technology, and the environment are not inescapable. Without the knowledge, the citizens have powerful means of action. The system of control of ''Masters of the World'' is terribly effective, but it has also weak points. The destiny of the Indians of America also announced that of the whole of the inhabitants of planet who attend impotent the destruction of their environment, after the confiscation of their space and their resources. The message of the Indians is also a source of wisdom, founded on the respect of the nature and the comprehension of “the Spirit which is in any thing”… Tiger
