Dear RM Agents and Readers,

I've almost completed the book Bitten; it is excellent. (It's taken me this long because I was in the middle of a huge painting project nothing to do with the book).
On Page 229 of the Book Bitten, last paragraph it states that the first disease discovered after the Bah-Dole Act was Lyme disease and the Diamond v. Chakrabarry Supreme Court Decision made it possible for the CDC, NIH and Univesities to patent and profit from "ownership" of live organisms.

Seems to me, as is the case with many things these days; the consequences of this act proved to be just the opposite of its intentions. Hopefully, President Trump and the good folks surrounding him will seek to rectify this situation.
Stakeholders taken on a whole new meaning. Charlie and the Chocolate factory was about greed and it was a play that I helped produce because I saw so many touting the benefits of Greed. Folks needed to understand that everything needs balance, yes there can be too much of a good thing.
Who can forget that statement made by Mike Douglas in the movie Wallstreet: "Greed is Good"
Gordon Gekko
Fictional character
The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind.

Perhaps initially there is a surge, "the step up before the fall of mankind"; you almost feel an angel lurking in the background--
