Hi everyone,
I am glad you are here. As you know it is so hard for people who do
not have Morg. to comprehend how insidious and terrifying this disease
can be.
A little history and then a few questions....Diagnosed 11 years ago
with Lyme and Babesia. Diagnosed a few years ago with Q Fever.
Diagnosed 4 months ago with Morgellons. Just when I thought it
couldn't get any worse....Morgellons!
Luckily I am seeing a doctor that is Morgellons savvy. She has me
on Bactrim, Ceftin, Zitromax and Artmesinien and Mepron (for Babesia).
I am having less brain fog but extremely tired and am becoming an
insomniac, face itches, had first lesion this week (I did pick at a new
bump..I don't think I will do that again).
My questions...I have what looks like downy hair all over my face...my
doctor says that it is clear fibers wrapped around my facial hairs. Which
must mean I have hundreds or more fibers on my face. That can't be
seen except in sunlight (less with make-up on) and without make-up.
The hairs on my arms and other places stand up. When I clip the
downy hair on my face, little cotton like balls often appear and fly
upwards rather than dropping into the sink. Crazy! lst question:
do others of you have the downy hair all over your face, have it stick
up more all over the body, have your hair become much coarser? Has
anyone been successful getting rid of the hair/fibers on the face and
the body. If so, how?
2nd question....how have you all not lost your minds going through
this? I'm so impressed with how much all of you have been through
and are fighting so hard to get well. You are my heroes. No one but
us has any idea what we go through. I have spirituality that really
helps me and I am doing so many healthy things to help get well, but
there are moments where I feel so overwhelmed and sad and angry.
I do have a supportive husband and a few close friends that know
about Morg. but as I 'm sure you can validate, this can be such a
lonely journey. Bless all of you.
