Mysterious skin illness topic of seminar in Austin By Mary Ann Roser | Monday, March 21, 2011, 10:53 AM An unexplained skin condition that is characterized by complaints of fibers beneath the skin, crawling sensations, fatigue and neurological problems is the topic of a free seminar in Austin April 2. More at this link: mo.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/health/entries/2011/03/21/mysterious_skin_illness_topic.html?cxntfid=blogs_salud<snip> CDC spokeswoman Lola Russell said today that the CDC had sent its findings out to independent reviewers and was now editing the report on what it calls Unexplained Dermopathy. “We’re nearing the final stages,” Russell said, adding that she did not when or where the report would be published. The additional review took time and the CDC wants to do a careful analysis because “people are suffering,” she said. “This is an initial study, which would give us initial insight into the condition.” It won’t be the final word, Russell said. Thanks To Cindy Casey, RN For Sending This Forward---
