Dec 2, I and a friend sat on a bench in a park for 15 min. Then became a bit itchy within 20 min, spreading, eventually a pimple appeared next to my eye within 1 hr. Now January 23, I have experienced so far pimples mostly on my thigh (skin feels sore), got 1 cases on arm of a red 5cm "scratch" underneath my skin on 11th and again today 23rd, both only detected due to warm shower (otherwise invisible).
Took permathrine5% on 11th. Friend of mine that had same bench experience says she's cured now, I got a new scratch today. I can hope it's a kind of scabies and I just need a second coating of permathrine in case I got reinfested?
I get some biting sensations at night, but not any intense itching and 5cm (2inches) scratch is more than scabies make. In face at night it feels a bit like something is moving my facial hair.
Could this be a case of Morgellons, or likely too "mild/different" for that? Dermatologists believe I'm hallucinating as pimples look ok.

Hi, janoleolsen, and welcome to this board. I am sorry that you are going through these uncomfortable symptoms. I hope your treatment helps. I have never heard of getting scabies on a park bench, but I suppose it could happen if someone else severely affected sat there just before you sat down. We cannot diagnose morgellons. I am not sure what you have, but your story does not sound like it. When I got it, the symptoms were quite severe and I felt really sick. I had the shakes for over three weeks. One thing I have learned about this condition is that everyone does not get all of the same symptoms all of the time. It seems to be variable to some degree and I think that may be due to the geographical regions where each of us live. I have some symptoms that others do not seem to speak of, and others have symptoms I have not had. Some symptoms are so bizarre, I don't even talk about them. There is a list of the most common symptoms related to morgellons on the link below from Rense. www.rense.com/general74/morg4.htmI hope this info helps you and you recover very soon. shubot

Hi, janoleolsen Welcome. Are you Scandinavian by any chance? Park benches: Birdmites? They may infect cats and dogs, but I don't know if they can contaminate humans. As to Morgellons, a common symptom is lesions that will not heal, but keep prouducing calluses/crusts, with strange hook-like tentacles underneath, often containing fibers of different colors, see for example rense.com/general74/morg6-1.htmMy onset (at least what I think was the onset) had the characteristics of an anaphylactic shock with severe itching and extreme swelling. Looked like the Michelin man. Even the soles of my feet and the insides of my hands were swollen. Couldn't walk or use knife and fork for 3 weeks. Hope with all my hart that you have not contracted Morgellons. Brim (Scandinavian)

I can't say whatever it is morgellons or not. The thing with what is being called "morgellons" is that it's very varied in symptoms and how servere it is. If it is M it will gradually change how you feel , It takes away self-esteem and can become very debilitating. It just depends how it progresses over time.
The medical community don't even view it as a real disease. They usually label morgellons victims as having a "mental" illness because they refuse to look at the evidence. Because how bizare it can be no one what's to touch it in main stream "medicine"
If you can see any colored fibers in skin lesion(s) or notice any changes in hair than that would be an indication of morgellons. You would have to have a mircoscope inorder to see the fibers. Skin symptoms are only a small amount of the actual symptoms it can produce through. It can affect the entire body and affects orgons, but it does not always go that far.
