Hello everyone..... I've had this horrible affliction on my chin for almost a year. For the last 4 or 5 months, my wound seemed to heal and would flare up every few weeks, but nothing like in the beginning. Recently, my forehead broke put so I started reading about Morgellon's again. My dermatologist (number 8 w/ Kaiser) does not believe in it and continues to not listen to what I am saying. I've recently requested a referral to the Northern Ca Kaiser because i know that is where the research is taking place. Does anyone have any current info on this or who to contact? I'm baffled that all 8 of the derm's, all w/ Kaiser, have failed to even look at this as a possibility. It seems to me to fall under the category of professional responsibility. Because this thing is spreading at such at rapid rate, is close to my eyes and disfiguring my face, I'm getting very frustrated and am considering looking for an attorney. I', sure all of these things are covered on this site. Sorry, I will try to read before spewing next time.

Shelli its so difficult to get a doctor even to listen to you, and this is an emotional ache. This disease knowone wants to recognize, is a major denial force from professionals. The web is where you go for help, its the only help I've gotten in the last six months. I live in Rural Alaska, and doctor's up here wont touch you with a fork either. Start doing what others are doing with this mess. You need to be in charge, work on your face, you can get on top of this, and avoid major scares. To stay on top of the sores I need to work out the morgies, its painful but far better than just thinking they will vanish. Your dealing with a very smart disease, and you will learn, from your fellow suffers. Hang in there, keep posting. amron

Thank you. I'm in te4ars again. I just went back to work after being off for the holiday break. My chin was bandaged and I've managed to cover the cyclops eye with my bangs. My chin is so bd and so deep and so inflamed and pissed off at me for tryingto extricate it....that I jsut can't even think about anything other than this awful curse. I rubbed it down w/ a lemon. dried it w/ a papertowel and doused it with powder. A new conconction, we'll see what happens. thank you.......I appreciate your comment. by the way....I graduated in AK! (many years ago!)

Shelli -
How are you doing? Sounds like you've been going through a pretty rough time. Hope they've left you alone at work...

Hi Shelli
I use a salt water soak, vaseline deep rub, around the conners of my mouth, fibres will come out, I haven't been this clear for at least three years. I use hydrogen proxide, as the finish, and then put small dab of vaselene on spot. It works for me. I work on mouth twice a day. I, at least have a reprive all the crusty stuff is gone. Hang close to these guys, and you will be in better shape. Alaskan's are tenatious people, good luck.

Hi Amron and Sunnvdaze-
I just spent 30 minutes writing a response here and lost it with the stroke of a key. ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I must learn how to turn the toggle thing off!
I just wanted to say that since this last entry, I have been through many different stages...I thought I was "better", so I decided to move on with my life, keeping positive thoughts only. Well, worked to an extent. I have come to the conclusion that even though I may look better, the internal aspects still exist, I was shedding last week, severe brain fog and I also have bruises that are over painful lumps. I am however, grateful that I am not flared-up. I know there are so many out there still suffering, they may get better and I may get worse again. Bottom line is, we all need to stick together. I wanted to thank you for your kind words in my time of desperation and to let you know that I forgot my old password and couldn't figure out how to retrieve it...I know, blame it on brain fog. I am now known as morgmom...aka..shelli.
thanks again and I promise not to disappear again.....I know this is my cross to bear, and bear it I shall.
My chin is much better and there is no doubt that this is/was the nematode host.
