I'm Scott,
Symptoms: Crawling, itching, biting (the little bastards), lethargy, depression, itchy red spots, way to much fear...
I need and welcome the support of others with like symptoms and would be grateful for the chance to be a supportive member of the community.
Time line: Noticed biting and itching as far back as 2001, 1st real bout with the itching and biting in July 2004 - Jan 2005, then quiet til Aug or Sept 06, then a severe bout that I'm still floundering through.
Treatment: 2004, My primary care, then to a dermatologist, the skin doc thought I had nothing as she could not see anything and told me not to worry and prescribed something topical that had little effect. Symptom free, early 2005 until Sept 2006, again my primary care (dec 06), he said I looked fine... I waited 4 months (I'm a bit slow) then went back to dermatologist, this time I had visible spots... The dermatologist when I asked him, thought I had nothing, but prescribed Ivermectin. Don't know if it really helped, I noticed no major changes.
I have had some relief with the use of a diet, If you'd like info on the diet drop me a note, I'll point you to the website.
I've wondered if bathing in a vat of nuclear waste might be a potent deterrent to these little...
I usually end E-mails with, may you be well, some how seems irrelevant.
So
In between the insanity, "May we all be laughing like careless 5 year old's."

Thanks,
I needed the infusion of positive energy from fellow sufferers. You see I'm a drunk too and the years I spent in AA taught me that one of the best things in life is the fellowship to be found with other's in the same boat. It may change and move from one thing to another but that connection can be found. It's up to us to find and nurture it.
Another home I have found.

Hey Ali - Gator,
Tossed the Lazy Boy, too hard to clean. In fact if I keep up the current "get rid of it theme", my place might resemble an interior decorators dream, lots of potential.
Thanks!
Be well.
