Dear all
This is just a brief note to let you know that I (Steve) and my wife (Janet) are here - I am sure that Janet will have a LOT more to say later (when she gets back from work).
It is extremely ironic that I am in this position as I am a senior scientist in our version of your EPA and would until recently probably thought that the whole Morgellons thing was another wacko fringe group had I even heard of it (I can categorically say that I have not subconsciously made up a heap of symptoms to fit the Morgellons profile - it was the only thing that fitted - like a glove). However, the universe has given me one heck of a slice of humble pie to eat, and both Janet and I are climbing a very steep learning curve as we confront this monster.
The problem started for us about 2 months ago with a plague of fleas in the house which were extremely hard to get rid of. It was also the start of our daughter's end of school exams and (thankfully) we sent her off to my parents house to stay so she could study in peace. While the flea invasion was in full swing, I started to get "bitten" (thought it was the fleas) so violently that i couldn't sleep at all, and the only "safe" place I could get any sleep at all for some bizarre reason was in the car in our car port. I was the only person targeted (Janet has now been infected too though) This, of course, was the start of the whole doctor visit, "delusional parasitosis" nonsense (will tell that story another time). Have run out of space - so i will just say "hi"

Welcome Steve and Janet. Glad to have a scientist on board. I found that I really need the support the boards offer, when the powerful people have left us the suffer on our own. We had a bad infestation of fleas in the house too but I already had Morgs. Perhaps the fleas bring the Morgs with them. I am pretty certain I got this from a mosquitoe bite.

Welcome Steve and Janet!
We are sorry for your reason to come, but we are here for you! I hope that you will take a look around the front page at the top, and perhaps listen to the segments of Dr.Staninger's reports on this condition.
And like the others have said, if you have any questions, or anything we can help with, please let us know!
You will be in my prayers! Celia, in Tacoma, Wahsington USA
