hi,I live in wales in the uk I first noticed strange things happening with my body about 7 years ago. At first I tried telling friends and family then, when my symptoms became more severe I went to the doctors. Some of the symptoms were straight out of the x files could have ticked nearly every symptom in the list and more.Over the yearsI have tried to find causes and remedies alone and quietly ( i was fed up of people looking at me like id lost the plot). It was only when flicking through tv channels earlier this year i saw one on discovery called mysterious illnesses I was i was gob-smacked to hear someone discussing some of my weird symptoms i had a name to put to my illness my initial elation was soon to go the more i learned that I knew as much about morgellons as anyone ie-not much. Got my own theories like so many my symptoms aren't so severe as they were at the beginning I still have problems with my hair ,scalp and eyes.are there any doctors or sufferers in the uk that i could discuss my experiences with as i feel i have a wealth of information for researchers.

Hello Booniesboy
I'm wondering why you have a problem recommending the morgellons-uk.net website. It is UK based after all. The CDC in the US have adopted the term "syndrome" rather than "disease". Anyway as you say, you have only looked briefly, perhaps a longer look might no be a bad idea.
Welshgirl, Welcome..... I'm uk side also.
With Respect,
hartuk
