Two events that happened to me may be worth sharing here:
1. The initial ammonia house-cleanse
Once I made the Cotton Connection, I made a plan on how to clean my house and began. I probably did 12 hours of solid cleaning, with lots of ammonia. I did not wear gloves, but wore goggles to keep more fibers from wrapping into my very long lashes. No wonder my husband thought I was crazy. ROTF
Ammonia has never made me sick, but this night was different. At 11 p.m., I went to bed, with the beginning of "one of those pressure headaches" coming on. By 11:30, my head was pounding and I was frantically groping my way to the bathroom. The room was spinning uncontrollably, and I stumbled to my porcelain target.
First, the diarrhea. Then suddenly, my body began pouring out liquid, especially from my face. It was like a faucet had been turned on in my eyes - they were streaming liquid out at high rates, as was my nose and mouth. I threw up multiple times (no food), went back to bed several times and got up several times, for instant repeats for the next 2 hours. The headache, BTW, stopped.
I finally went to sleep, exhausted. But in the morning - oh, my! I hadn't felt that good in years - since I first started getting Morgs symptoms. I kept telling my husband, "I feel g-r-e-a-t !!!" I couldn't help it - I kept saying it and rejoicing. And I have never been as sick with Morgs symptoms since that day.
My feeling is that the extended ammonia exposure really upset my "residents." I felt like they were bailing out as fast as they could, all encased in mucus or body fluid.
I had some other changes take place, too. My eye floaters seemed to be gone. Cravings for weird stuff stopped, including my fondness of Coors beer. (My bugs liked alcohol!!). My appetite stabilized, taste buds normalized (mostly), brain fog diminished and I could actually focus on things for more than a few seconds. I didn't stumble anymore or drop things, two symptoms that had cropped up that were unnerving to my usually non-clumsy self. I'm not sure what happened, but I am very, very, very thankful for that night.
2, Joyfullee's ear-rub remedy
This remedy really rocks (no pun intended)!! I used olive oil and ground-up rock salt. My ears popped like it was the 4th of July. It was awesome. Die you little @sses, die!! (I'm really quite nonviolent, so why do I suddenly feel like Bruce Willis?)
A couple of hours after doing it, I took a shower, deciding to try vinegar on my hair, since it was still falling out (I don't want to LOOK like Bruce!). When using the vinegar, I still heard popping, and I don't think it was my ears - I think my scalp was popping - a really weird sensation. So, I rinsed my hair with vinegar, then water, and dried off.
I was no sooner out of the tub when I noticed red bumps coming up on my face. And I got a sore bump on my lower gum. I don't call these pimples, because I haven't had a normal pimple for 6 years. So, I dabbed them with vinegar - a trick I've been doing for many years. Vinegar restores pH, as I understand, and calms "bumps" down.
In the meantime, my ears were ringing loudly, and a gland in my jaw swelled up and got really sore. A rash appeared on my forehead. Duh - I forgot about this odd rash that appears from time to time. I guess I do have the rash symptom, too!
Most of the bumps went away within the hour. The ones that remained - two big ones on my chin, directly over the gum sore. And a big one developed on my jaw, smack-dab in the center of the swollen gland area.
I rinsed my mouth and throat with salt water. That stopped the gum sore in about 2 hrs. I altered my herbs to accommodate the new gland condition and got it under control by the next day. I continue to put vinegar on the lingering bumps. Alas, my hair is still falling out.
But, this event begs some questions:
1. Does this indicate communication between the fibers to cause what appears to be a chain reaction? Or Is there one long fiber reaching from scalp to chin and when one end gets irritated or threatened, the other end reacts?
2. Did the fibers flee the vinegar and go deeper into my head/face, or did they run "willy-nilly" for safety, some accidentally emerging from the skin?
3. Why do fibers emerge from the skin if they're so comfy inside us?
OK, I'm almost done - bear with me another minute.
So, if I soak in the tub in something like epsom salts, would that also cause the same type of reaction?
4. Are they going to flee into areas not being soaked, like the face or head, or maybe into organs?
5. Even if I use a snorkel (quit laughing) and completely submerge in the tub, would it just upset or anger them, or at least enliven them, as they frolic toward my liver, chanting, "We'll get you now, thinker!"? ROTF
I don't want THAT to happen!!! Geez, why couldn't I just have some normal problem, like being abducted by aliens. Instead, the aliens set up shop inside ME!! LOL LOL LOL
I'd love to soak, but at what expense? Has anyone else had these types of chain reactions occur?
