Oh the "computer" ROTF! See how bad my brain fog is?!
Yes it has been worse of late my shoulder and neck pain, and my head feels like it will implode these days when I am on the computer. I think I must be getting some eletrical interference from NASA, ET or even DARPA!!

aussie, Yes you are right! I am certain this is related. In 2000 when I got really sick again I could hardly turn my head. I had to give up driving for a few years. I did have arthritis in my neck, however the pain and stiffness was only on one side. Many people who have fibromyalgia like I do also have this pain.

yes, stay away from CRTs - and stick with the laptop (if you have one).
I have noticed that the EMF from monitors and old TV sets will cause pain.
I stick to my laptop for the most part now as it has much less electro magnetic force and therefore doesn't annoy the morgies as much !!!

Sickandtired, I have over the last week developed the burning sensation in the right foot and pain starting to run up the leg also. Very annoying.
I had it a couple of years ago, too, for quite a while and my old naturopath, who diagnosed using kinesiology(muscle testing) said that my hips were out of alignment. He told me to get up on his table where he proceeded to put a chock of wood under one of my hips and moved it into position until he was sure both hips perfectly aligned. Then he did a psychic "clearing" and told me to get off the table. You just wouldn't believe it......after months of pain it was gone....simply disappeared. Hard to believe but true...I mean I had been limping, it was so bad. He did nothing physical except to place the chock of wood in position. "Out of the box", eh?
A friend was telling me there is a therapy where they get a type of foot spa and add some minerals to it. According to the toxins in your body the water in the spa changes colour as the toxins are released through your feet. Anybody know anything about this?

Aussie - sorry don't know about foot spa minerals. Only thing that comes to mind for detox via the feet is some oriental detox pads. I used these 2 or 3 years ago. They are placed on the soles of the feet at night time, place socks over the top and go to sleep. In the morning the foot pads are "black" when removed!!
I used them for awhile but it became rather expensive, and then I became so ill and confused I gave up. I can't remember the actual name, but if you search in google, something like detox pads & chinese medicine (and I think it was a mushroom compound).
The soles of my feet are currently producing black goo, and green/blue stuff with fibers, oh real pretty! I have been known to "rot" the soles in my shoes if I do not wear socks.
My mum once pointed this out to the quack I was seeing, she said "look, look at her shoes, she has rotted them, there is something very wrong inside my daughters body". Well he just put his head down, as per usual!!

Oh yeah I must mention also, my right side has been particularly bad recently. My right leg is like a "wooden" leg, and my drop foot - well annoys the hell out of me at times. I sometimes walk like a "crab" so I have been told.
Also lately it feels as though my chest is caving in, I have trouble standing up right, particularly the first half of the day. By lunch time I come good, but it is rather hard going up and down the stairs in this house, but it keeps me fit I guess!!
We gotta look on the bright side hey??

Good grief, Sarah....I am just doing a bit of deep breathing after reading your posts.
I'm sorry it is so bad for you.
I did a search of foot detox pads at Ebay. The Oz site had them too. I was surprised that they use far infrared therapy in the pads with the stone tourmaline. You can buy them fairly cheaply in quantity. They had them at 100 for AU$39, but sent from the US.
What is also interesting is theay they say you can use them on you neck/shoulder area and and many other parts of the body, not just feet.
I did a little cut and past for anyone else interested in reading about them. I see they are using nanotechnology, too. I guess it must have it's positive uses.
I won't post the address but if anyone is interested just do a search on "detox foot pads asian mushroom"and look for the Ebay site. **** How It Works
Once you apply the patch to your feet you will start to feel a warming sensation. That is the Tourmaline emitting negative ions which generates heat to open the pores of your feet. Next the Bamboo and Wood Vinegars start to draw the toxins out of your body. Since your skin is a permeable membrane the toxins will be released through the pores of your feet while your body intakes Agaricus Mushroom. During this process your body will expel toxins such as uric acid, urea, and traces of heavy metals.
Key Ingredients
Bamboo and Wood Vinegar- The same sap that trees use to pull water from the soil up to the leaves of the tree is the same sap we use in our patch to pull out the "waste water" from our bodies. Tourmaline- Is a mineral that is a natural source of negative ions and emits far infrared rays. This assists in opening the pores and is the key ingredient to improve blood circulation. Agaricus Mushroom- Is high in beta D glucan which is a known immune system booster. Why The Feet?
Why Apply It To The Soles? According to Chinese medical philosophy, the human body has over 360 acupuncture points, with more than 60 acupuncture points found on the soles of the foot. Known as the ‘second heart’, they are the reflective zones of our major internal organs. Unfortunately, they are also potential homes for pain-causing toxins.
Gravity also plays a key role, since our feet are the farthest point from our heart much of the toxins in our body rest in our feet, toxins such as Uric Acid crystalize in our feet and in severe cases cause gout.
Why Ichiban Patch
What separates us from our competitors is our manufacturing facilities have all be ISO certified. We also utilize "nano technology" in our manufacturing assuring of the purist ingredients .

Thank you Aussie for that info.
Hey don't feel bad mate, honest I am used to it now.
So sad one has to get "used" to being this way, but what can you do?
I get angry, but it just doesn't help my immune system. Music Therapy is what helps me!! Makes me laugh and makes me cry, good clean out, so at least I can live to fight another day!!
P.S. I had to laugh at the last sentence in that excerpt from your post aussie "purist ingredients" hahaha!!! could well be pure, but ya just never know!

It is so amazing to hear of others pains and difficulties! I feel sometimes liked I am the only person in the world, if you know what I mean. Once I went for a pedicure and you should have seen the face of the girl at sight of my black feet(despite having just had a shower). She washed my feet 3x and they got black again when she turned around. She said something in chinese to her friend and just carried on. So embaressing. But I think particularly becuz no one believes me. It is so bad now that they are starti9ng to and also acting like what is wrong with me for not having done somethin g.like what? I dunno what to do. I am so scared. Last week when I brushed my skin little flies came out. In the last m onth-MONTH-my teeth have rotted from the gums up and tonight a piece of tooth came off. I had great teeth! My dog is suffering too and has licked his paw raw. I guess I neede to let all that out.

Hi Sophie - so nice to have you here! I am so sorry to hear of your pain and suffering. I feel so much better to know also that I not the only one in this world feeling so sad and lonely. I too used to have beautiful teeth. I had root canal fillings done about 11 years ago and my teeth have never been the same since. Once the Morgs. kicked in my root canals are now rotting.
I wish I could afford to go to the dentist. I really need to because I am a teeth grinder and have been since my early 20's, which really throws my jaw out of alignment. I am sure if my family really new the depth of my suffering they would whiz me off to the dentist immediately. But ya know how it is, just easier to say nothing and hope for the best. Take care Sophie.

Sarah, you can stop teeth grinding by wearing a mouthguard when you go to sleep. Lots of people do it, including my son in law. (My sons are in the dental profession so I get to interrogate them).
Also, for you and poor Sophie...well, anybody really.....I know I've mentioned this before and don't want to bore you to death....but the Ganoderma toothpaste.... sometimes you don't read these things until you need to..........perhaps you could derives some benefit from it.
I've mentioned before how good it is to put on the lesions with the menthol and reishi mushroom ingredients. Doesn't have any of the bad stuff that is contained in regular toothpaste. It is very soothing and dries up and insulates the lesions from your clothing.
I first started buying it a couple of years ago for a family member with gum disease(sensitive and bleeding). Within a couple of days the problem cleared up like magic and no problem since. I ran out of my own toothpaste and started to use it as well. It says in the information, it is good for kidney function. I realised a few weeks later that I no longer had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet.
Now, I am thinking that the ingredients may possibly help you because we already know that M critters don't like menthol. Hopefully the stuff will go down the nooks and crannies in your mouth/teeth and do some good. I pay $8.50 a tube but it lasts for ages. You can't get it in the supermarkets or pharmacies. I buy it in a small retail crystals shop or at the markets from a distributor. If you are interested do some online research. There is a lot of info on it.

Thank you I will check out the toothpaste.
Sorry to bore you also, but I do have a mouth guard. I did grind one away some years ago. The one I have at the moment is far too tight on my teeth, and as I said I can't afford to go to the dentist to get the mouth guard adjusted.
I will have to put the dentist on the back burner.
