I just remembered a hair story that I must share with everyone....
I know this disease causes many weird things with our hair.....especially the ones attached to debris from our lesions.....those hairs I have noticed are darker, coarser than my fine lighter hair BUT it seems to move on its own.....no wind, not breathing on it.....but it moves.....WELL
I had my 30 year reunion last July and decided I would really do things up and looked into some hair extensions for the occasion.....
I choose what the beautician called the latest and greatest technique for applying these extentions which was real hair attached by these narrow strips of very sticky tape and would last for several months if I took care of them properly......WELL
Within hours of having these installed they were starting to fall off and by the end of the evening (within 8 hours) they were all coming off.....by the next morning I went back for a refund and explaination with a bag of extensions in my hand and he said HE HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN BEFORE.....EVER.....couldn't explain what happened.....
Could this creature have caused these extensions to start falling off my head.....like it didn't want them there or couldn't take the tape that was used to apply the extensions......I had several lesions on my head when I did this and at that time didn't know I had Morgellons either.....
Anyway just another wierd HAIR story for us Morgellons infected

Another hair story,
My hair is a light brown and very fine but the ones that move are course and dark and if I am around folks they get all excited, one day they decided to put on quite a show in front of some ladies in a store, I felt so bad for them, they took off running like they had seen a ghost. It is very unnerving personally also, you get to where you don't want to be around people. I'm a people person so this does cause me sadness.
I cut my own hair now that I understand that this is contagious. I have had several beauticians tell me things I should do to make it look better, I know they are trying to help, but they just don't understand. I had one tell me I had sun damage above my eyes and I said no its not, it comes and goes. They told me it couldn't come and go because it is sun damage. Now I know it is a callus with the white worms under it, there sometimes, gone sometimes. I guess we just do the best we can.

Yes Whiterose.....
I have been cutting my husband's hair for years now....and have been cutting mine for the past year or so......getting quite good at it too......in fact I do better than some salons I have been to....again they just were not listening to me.....
and I mean't July 2005 not this year's July.....I found out WE were infected with Morgellons May 2006 and what a rodeo ride it has been ever since......after 12-13 years with this disease.....unbelievable HOW long this disease has been present 25 years or so.....and the medical community is STILL IN DENIAL.......what a disgrace!!!!
