For several months I have been telling people about some of the bizzar issues that I have stumbled onto with this morgellon issue. One being that I 've noticed when weed eating around the yard, that I would have all these grass and dirt pieces around my ankles from trimming the yard, and before going into the house I would take a waterhose and wash myself off before entering the house. Then after a period of 30 minutes or so, after the skin has dried,I would begin to feel these sensations aroun my ankles. And after looking with the help of light, I would find many pieces of grass that were still along my skin from the ankles to mid shin area. When trying to remove these pieces with a tweezer, I began to notice that they seemed somehow "stuck" to the skin and that they would come away from the skin with a string of like jelly holding them to the skin, as if they were try to take root to me like if they were in dirt. Then after observing them with 5x lens, they appear to have insect like characteristics to them. And just yesterday I read a research blog from a post and theres a report of this disease being linked to plant DNA genes that are imbedded somhow in the human body. I not only can offer this strange visual of it happening at will. but many others that I have found to be very peculiar in nature also. But some one has to be made aware of these findings to further follow up on this to give scientific validation or proof to what I know to be occurances associated with this disease. Is there anyone you can speak to on my behalf so as allow me to be a part of making them aware of this and many more incidents that I have become to notice, that may....or may not be a vital part in this diseases' solution ? I also have some specimens that are very ...VERY unusal in nature. And from the "thousands" that I have retrieved...found or come from my pet......one of which....and it being the only one ......MOVES.And it came from in my nose....while sleeping , I awoke to this terrible crawling sensation and used a q tip that retrieved this thing that I can only say resembled a moquito larvae that you would see in stagnet water....and it was incased in a ball of snot or slime. It looks to me like a simple hair but the profile of a football..........()...lol like this but longer. That was on Sept20th...and I have it in a carmex bottle...and it still moves to this day. You understand that I can't just go around telling just anyone or for that matter any Dr. about this...without them looking at me with one eye closed and a smirk on their face. Please help me with this.....I honestly believe that I have some things to offer that can be of help to the researchers involved with this. I also plan on attending the JAM in Oklahome on Oct. 7 and 8.

This is my first posting on this forum which I found today, and suspect I shall do mamny more. For the last year or so my boogers have looked identical to one another and to many of my lesions. Tjhey are huge, imperative to remove, they have a black head at one end, the rest is very long and white and bends and goes back on itself like a stuck together u. If I wipe the inside of my nose with a qtip it has loads of tiny little black things which I think grow into... I also get very sudden desperate 'tickles' in my ears of something crawling around, and now have 2 growing lesions near the tickle.

Hi Sophie:
It is important that you remove those forms as often as possible. You will find that they preceed, as well as coincide, with the growth of the brown macro-fibrils.
The inside of the nose and the ear canals are the favorite spot for these forms to attach themselves. Maturing forms (the macr-fibrils) are very difficult to tell apart from normal nose and ear hair.
However with a bit of practice they are readily apparent.
Try to keep a regular daily regimine of removal of the fibrils and the other detritus you have described. By the way, this affliction produces a substance that very closely mimics mucus. However, it is not. It is a highly adheasive polymer that forms a very tough shield as it dries.
It will also use naturally produced mucus to transport itself.

Will someone please tell me how to remove the wiggly ones from my ears? My left ear has only had an occupant for about a month so I began trying to get it vacated first. I was astounded when I got super close to grasping it with the tweezers, my arm would start convulsing uncontrollably. I would try to brace myself and mount the mirrors complimentary with the lighting. (Quite the task I might add...) and begin hydrogen peroxide cleansing. Talk about bubbles! The bubbles overflow every 3 or so seconds. My ear canal will also get hot as the hydrogen peroxide is working. I have even gone as far as pouring straight ammonia in my ears trying to bomb them out of there. After 3 visits to the ER, and 5 doctors later, I figured out I will have to get them out myself. I have the one in my left ear visible. I can feel the crunchy part with my tweezers; but try as I might to pull it even with the excruciating pain, it will not let go. My ear will start dripping blood that contains a snotty coagulated blobs. I was hoping was part of the worm; but I don't think so now. I just can't catch the slimy wiggly wicked worm. And then I wondered what I was going to do with it when I did get it out. With my luck I would get it and as I was raising it to get a better look it would slither into my eye! I have been using the Vaseline and I do think this has aided in getting it this close to moving out. I even tried a piece of bacon, hoping it would hop into it by mistake. Any ideas? I wonder if Van Gogh had Morgellons? I have trimmed all the hairs around my ears and keep my hair pulled back; because I swear it would intentionally act as a defensive block by trying to block my view. The "hairs" will also go straight to any lesion in its reach as if for food. I am tempted to shave my head. I think I will tattoo it to make it look like I have hair! Just joking. My right ear is really bad. I have them coming out of a lesion behind my ear that seems to just be a worm gateway. It is unlike any other lesion I have had. It is soft and puss filled. I get so freaked out knowing they are now feeding on my brain! Unfortunately I have no one to talk to about this... or ask to help me get my ears back. I am so tired of ignorant closed minded people who act like I am into self mutilation! The irony is...my (ex)husband still believes I am delusional and self inflicting all my lesions by picking. If I really had something, with all the doctors I have been to, they would have found it by now. He also is quick to say that he nor anyone else around me had contracted it from me. I will surely be hauled off in a straight jacket he tells me. I have since moved out of course. But just this week I read about the rash associated with initial contamination. The irony of it is...he had that rash about a year ago. When I told him, he responded. "Well, I am not really worried about it." He has no idea who I am after 10 years together. I sought medical advice for the first time regarding my lesions that would not heal in June of 2003. And the idiot keeps asking me what is wrong with me? Enough for now, my main focus is deworming my ears since I think that is about the best help I can give myself. Any ideas? I am not opposed to unconventional or alternative solutions. I will try anything.
And thank you so much Cliff for this message board! It has been my only salvation and link to reality. Through reading your articles and others I somehow find the strength to keep fighting. Although at times I feel totally alone in my despair and desperation... I know there are others just like me enduring the indifferences and ignorance of society. Thank you all for sharing and lets keep communication open. We will beat it! Thank you Cliff!
PS Please excuse my grammatical errors...and spelling errors...

Hi, Earfull!
Joyfullee posted a great ear remedy using Neosporin and sea salt, gently rubbing in ear. I used olive oil and sea salt and it worked really well. You will likely hear a lot of popping sounds.
However, I have one thick black fiber deep in my ear now coming out and I haven't had luck with anything - it's real deep. I know what you're going through trying to get it out.
When I asked my husband to get it, he tried, but scrunched up his face and said, "No." "Why not?" "Well, it's an ingrown hair, in a big red pimple and it's poking out of your ear. Just leave it alone. It'll go away."
Someday I'm going to write a book - "Life with the King of Denial."
Keep us posted on your progress and I'll do the same. Good luck!

I am just wondering if any of you have tried ear candles? It's very easy to do and I imagine you might really give those little suckers third degree burns without harming yourselves. You buy them at the health food store.....very relaxing.

Thanks. I love your remedies and I considered this one, but a friend actually did get injured from ear candles. Until then, he swore by them. LOL I'm just too chicken, but I may change my mind next week. Ya never know.

Oh dear Thinker....you've got me chortling again.....are you telling us that you're another one whose spouse is not exactly what you'd call supportive? It's okay, I, too, know exactly what you mean. I'd like to do a survey on the denial factor! Do you think we should?? Te he.
Is "the spouse" not affected at all, by any of this? Does he have any animals on his side of the bed(that's a bit close and personal, isn't it?), or just on your side? I wonder what would happen if you tried a set of satin sheets? It would be interesting to see what would happen with the sheets if you went to a motel. I am wondering how many relationships are going to survive this affliction. Cheers.

I was a bit chicken about using the candles, too. But my daughter uses them quite often and insisted, so I gave in and it was lovely. You just need someone else to hold the candle and it doesn't burn with a flame, in fact you hardly feel anything except a slight rustling sort of sound. Takes about 20 mins per ear. Just need to follow the directions. Friend was a male, wasn't he? Hmmmm. Some of them need others to read directions. Cliff would be able to read the directions! Te he.

Good try, Aussie, but the spouse only had a couple of bugs on his side. Maybe that's the answer - stop being so hygenic, just scratch my butt and burp, and be real, real stubborn. I'll bet that's why they stay away from him!!
Seriously, though, he's got symptoms - just lost his 3rd tooth, among other telltale signs. And I think that's why he's so adamant about this. He cannot control it or understand it, so he MUST deny it. When he sees what I go through, I'm sure it scares the heck out of him. But it's worse, watching him and knowing, not being able to do anything about it because he's too stubborn!!

I'm thinking his legs are so hairy that maybe the intruders easily, gleefully glom onto his legs instead of lurking in the bedding. They really cling, and they love hair, so I don't know why they would stay on the sheet.

I love satin sheets but I can't keep my darned pillow under my head or covers over me. ROTF I'm considering starting a silk worm farm - home grown sheets. :-)
I'm not at all looking forward to a hotel stay - had already thought about it. Man, what about hospitals? Are people going in for cure and coming out with new, unknown residents? Yikes.

We have also thought about hospitals and patients coming home with more than memories.....BUT then again this worm can take years to show itself I think it depends on ones health and how many are in your system reproducing.....
my husband's daughter began visits to our home of infection (didn't know then) at 16 and besides some headaches and vision trouble didn't have lesions (a patch on her back) until age 21 and since then has had a problem pregnancy due to severe pains and Angelise was premature at 3 pounds.....she is a sad baby cries a lot.....what a terrible terrible way to start life.....sickened with Morgellons.....at least I had the pleasure of knowing what true health feels like for 38 years.......this poor baby doesn't know what normal health feels like.....

Hi Earfull, I find that Afrin (or Costco's generic "Nasal Spray") works well to quell movement sensations when sprayed in the ears. Merc

I am so glad to have found this page - by searching on Morgellons and Qtip in Google! I just noticed that the box of Qtips I keep by the bed and use at night to try and stop the tickles in my ears is actually FULL of the white and clear suckers!!! Pull one out and pull a strand of "cotton" loose and watch it dance in the air and try and stick itself to me!!! VERY STRANGE! Then grab some "lint" from your hair brush bristle roots and put it under a nice binocular microscope at 20-40 power and LOOK!!! Moving around like crazy!!! Black ones nestled in white (cotton?) strands and seemingly controlling the whole cluster. And they GROW ! Like something from the Andromeda Strain! From Mars I really freaked out the first time I saw this the other night. I had read about this after being plagued for months now and it has gotten MUCH worse the last few weeks so that I couldn't sleep at ALL for nights (unless I got myself drunk and numb enough to not feel the tickles as much!!!) It was like something right out of X-Files! Anyway, I am new here and am going to try the olive oil and sea salt in my ears RIGHT NOW ! Thank you all !!! John from Newport, RI

John - Welcome!! I hope you had luck with the salt. Did you hear lots of popping? To me, it sounded like the fibrous residents were exploding.
I think we have a lot of references to X-File on this board, and rightfully so. I happened to see the X-Files movie the other day and with my new Morgellons eyes, I couldn't believe the storyline. OMG. What a trip. When I first saw this movie, it was interesting. Now, it is mind-blowing.
Thanks for joining our feisty little group. We normally do more positive work here, but as you can see, we've upset some on "the other side" and are being delayed. Never hesitate to PM someone, as that's how much of our work is happening right now, until the dingalings leave.
I suspect your observation skills have sharpened - a natural side effect of this thing. And no matter how crazy your symptom or question, please bring it forth - that's how we've learned so much and will continue to learn.
Again, welcome!!!

Thanks.
And you know, after reading some of the other stuff here, I am now starting to think that I have been invaded by at least TWO different parasites. I think I got rid of most of the bad ones, and maybe the ones left in my ears (which do NOT want to let go) don't really bother me as much if I leave them alone. The soaps and enzymes just seem to make them mad and fight back! But my nose no longer itches and a hot bath in 2oz Kleen-Free lets me sleep now. I have to get some more of that stuff.
I have always had a kind of tickle in my left ear. Usually when I was really happy and successful at the time. And also experiencing some of my more supernatural moments.
I am actually looking forward to the visuals if they come to me. :-)
Maybe we ARE mutating and fighting off the dark side !? (Chemtrails, Aspartame, MSG, etc. trying to keep us down ?!)

Multiple sources, multiple symptoms, multiple distribution methods, multiple remedies - I see you've met the 800-lb gorilla in the room!
We've had much discussion here about all of that stuff and I hope you learn from it all. The other part of that gorilla is that more and more people are going to discover their predicaments.
We are so fortunate to be aware already. You've discovered, I'm sure, that the more you search for related subjects, the more you find and learn - in total amazement.

Dear John....Thak you so much for sharing your observations with us. It's amazing and scary the first time you see those beasties, isn't it? Some of us are heavily into "investigative" mode. We won't give up till we solve this dilemna. There is definitely so much more to it than meets the eye.
If I were you, even if you're not into extreme alternative protocols, such as mine(and it's not for everybody), I would definitely do a good detox and parasite cleanse. There are many parasite cleanses available containing black walnut, wormwood, oil of cloves, oregano, cinnamon, thyme etc. Just make sure you get a good one and take it exactly as directed and for the specified time...you need to kill the eggs as well as the adults(parasites!)
And be brave....detox usually means you'll be eating lots of vegs/juices...no alcohol(boo hoo)....no sugar, no fast foods, no bread and as little dairy as you can manage. But believe me, it's all worthwhile and you'll feel great (and end up getting all holier that thou with your friends who are still eating rubbish!)
A drop of tea tree oil up the nostrils works well, too. It doesn't sting and make your eyes water.
And yes, perhaps were are mutating and leaving our carbon based bodies behind. We'll have to wait and see, but in the meantime alleviating the suffering is our concern.
There is a very powerful positive energy in our group, I'm sure you can feel it.

Yes, I did a 30 day detox - the Colonix colon cleanse with Paranil pills. It was shocking seeing what came out in the toilet!
But I think I need to do another 30 days. I didn't really change my eating habits as recommended or drink enough water (and too much beer!) so I am sure and can obviously FEEL the tiny parasites that remained.
I will look into other programs as well and get some of that tea tree stuff.
Funny, I was in Providence last night at a big party for 94WHJY radios 25th anniversary with the guy from Extreme who is in a fantastic The Who cover band. It was GREAT!!! Of course I was right up front with all the chicks :-) !
Anyway, I am paying for it today, my face is itching like crazy and I am using a toothbrush to scrape off tons of the suckers :-( !
The enzyme bath today didn't help much this time. I need some better stuff!
It's driving me crazy - usually they aren't as active until after sunset and my head hits the pillow. But today they are starting early :-( !
I guess I upset them with the BLASTING music and electric energy last night at Lupos in PVD. I actually slept fine, but that could be due to the 4 or 5 beers I had.
Take care...
John

THANKS JOHN! You deciphered why I couldn't long on!! I'm giggling. What else can I do...I'm not the rocket sciencist...Aussie is...Anyway, I have it now.
Sounds like you guys do it up good in Providence. It's probably the sugar smorgesboard you gave your little critters. They're wired. Though electricity definitely is involved also.
You'll probably get some relief from the Tea Tree Oil. I like to mix it with Noxzema for my face (10 min)and Petroleum jelly for the bod. It helps to smother them, reduce the moulting skin and stretches the Tea Tree Oil.
Dandruff shampoo with Zinc is a good body wash also. If you're not too macho, I discovered that Suzanne Somer's 'Freshen Up' Facial Toner makes them pop out almost instantly.
This is really wild and crazy stuff. And it can be a challenge to handle emotionally alone. This is the site for support! And a laugh or two.

Yes, PVD was fun ! I haven't been to the city in a long time. I live in Newport, which is much tamer.
It's funny you should mention sugar. I usually NEVER eat it but someone gave me a bag of Reese's Halloween candy and I killed it all in a few days.
Big mistake!
I'll try anything for relief. Obviously drinking every night won't do it. You can't get real restful sleep that way anyway. I'm tempted to try some sleeping pills. I took Xanax for a little while before all this started. Maybe I'll give that a shot, but of course drugs and alcohol are NOT the answer...
I still have the detox tea from the Colonix program, which I am starting on again. And I'll get more of the parasite killer pills. I see they raised the price from $49 to $88 for the whole kit! I guess there is a big demand for detox stuff now and they can charge what they like...
I'm not looking forward to staying awake itching all night tonight. It will be a few days before I get the Tea Tree and stuff.
At least it's Saturday night and we gain an extra hour (of misery :-( )

I am an IV using dfrug addict, soon to not be IV (like this week) cuz otherwise I may be an ex- everything... Anyway, after I had some prominent symptoms for a few monthes and I knew I had something growing on me, I had had a hit of something, and emptied my spoon of liqiud leaving the filter that keeps dirt out of the syringe (but not M's...) and when I turned around it had more than doubled in size in that shape I now knowso welkl. This has happened MANY ti mes since. Aren't I an arsehole sophie x

Having read my last post I am amused at how succesfully I have conveyed to you all my drug addled personality. very interesting. If i had known what I had and had found you years ago I might not have been in the dfreadful state I am now. I am sure, and I would not have dared suggest this before having read Cliff's post on M and drugs, that my addiction is directly connected to M. It didnt occur to me un til recentlt that they concurred. And that it seems a bit odd that someone who used drugs regularly and recreationaly AND with self respect, consciencely and carefully, would then turn into an addict of huge tolerance, etc. No one who knows before and after can believe what happened. I am trained as a counsellor and hace done drugs awareness traing to kids in secondary school so I am well informed. Clinics I have attended(must of which are nutsty) have always said it seems like I was doing it on purpose as I knew exactly what was going on.. There aRE other personality changes that just were odd. When I was little I did not mind cold water now I won't even go in! I used to do ballet and now I am a clumsy oaf.
