HI, when my problem first began my wounds were those exactly as described for leishmanasis. I forced my very reluctant Derm to do the test for it, it came back negative, she was so smug and rude. Those ulcerated wounds cleared up after about 2 years. They have left deep scars. I have 6 of them.
The leisons I got after that looked much the same but were not deeply ulcerated. They now leave areas with no pigment but unscarred. The skin now produces a layer of fibrous tissue and thickens
I would welcome your thoughts

leishmanasis has been mentioned before here as was Iraq and sand flies (all seem to go together)
mostly we are on our own in regards to doctors, some will help and it is best to look at lymedisease.org
the problem is that most is on a cash only basis, when I had really good insurance had tests from 3 doctors till I gave up, got tired of the run around and I knew it was a run around, cash cow game. I had deep surface scars as well, make sure you take zinc as it helps with healing and if it is morgellons it sucks the zinc right out of you.
Also you can use reverse electoloysis for scars. It will do a sort of blister so understand this but get someone who has done it before, completely healed my entire face so that I again no longer had to wear makeup.
Best I can do, good luck

Do listen to the video I've posted as it is telling what you need to be healed thoroughly

Note if you are unable to gain weight and keep it on this is what you do, kind of counter intuitive ---stop eating go on a fast and it will put your body into starvation mode. Give it 5 days and then resume eating and eat to live

Thank you,I will study all this a bit more. Until I retired 6 years ago I did electrolysis for 20 years. Short wave diathermy. I still have my old machine. I don't understand d what you mean by reverse electrolysis.
Weight has not been a problem during this last year. It was in the beginning, I lost 30lb. Good now though. I don't have to pay for medical as we have NHS. Difficult finding good doctor willing to Investigate.
When I get on the right track I can push for tests. Thanks for the zinc tip, I will try it.

wouldn't do the reverse electrolysis myself, have someone do it that has done it like that before if you don't know what I mean because you can cause permanent damage

Not too worried by my scars,as my friend says "at your age nobody looks" They are all on my legs. I am just still desperate like everyone else to know what this is. I forgot to mention what else has helped a lot. I have used infra red for about 1 year. Bought it to help with painful joints. It works very quick on the joints and I have had a gradual improvement in my skin.

I have just found UK lyme site. There is I high possibility I could be infected. I have an unexplained inflammation on all blood tests during last few years. Ruled out arthritis and wounds. They couldn't be bothered to check further. I have spent more time than most in the countryside and love getting dirty in the garden. Been bitten by God knows what, more times than I care to remember.
I am most grateful for your advice

infrared is good I've heard, used it for a bit had one but most of my things were absconded with; it is on my list yet again I also have inflamation and they are calling it auto immunity unexplained as well. Most of the tests suck, best to go to IGENEX or the one in Germany costs but at least will have right answer. I've given up everything for that the answer, good luck to you

Gp has agreed to check my inflamation when I have my tests done for my thyroid in 2 months time. If I get the same reading I think I will have grounds to ask my Derm to do further investigation. I will have to take the risk and just ask her if she thinks it could be lyme.
Thing is though, I am so much better, she may discharge me. Is it possible to cure this without doctors?

yes or at least put it in remission which is something i did. Cure, i"m not so sure except perhaps in the beginning if given the right amount of antibiotics and if you have listened (and I highly advise you to, the, "History of Lyme that is posted at the top as it is extremely valuable in regards to healing and understanding why it sometimes takes women longer.
It will give you much power as the guy is in ILADS

My tests said I was exposed to Lyme and pointed at relapsing fever, if you are here on a morgellons board, more morgellons symptoms, check for relapsing fever (more out west)
Yet the vet maps are the tell, it is everywhere
