Hi everyone - I apologize in advance if my post is all over the place, but I'm having a hard time keeping it together right now. I'll try to make this is short as possible...
I've always had clear skin with no problems, I'd get a pimple once in a blue moon. The past 10 months or so ago I started experiencing mild congestion on my chin -- very mild. I would constantly pick at them even though they were barely visible to anyone else, but i'd obsess some nights. Same pores would be congested the next day, and I'd do it again. God, I wish I never touched them. In the past few months I've been getting that itchy/skin crawling feeling at nights that makes me very restless, and unable to fall asleep regardless of how exhausted I was. And when I'm restless I google, any and everything. I was looking up symptoms of the skin crawling sensation and stumbled across a few sites about Morgellons. I read the symptoms, and I guess I dismissed it as I really only had the one.
Fast forward to about a month and half ago -- I started noticing these weird, very thing thread looking lines on my chin. I only saw 2, but they were both near 2 of the 5 clogged pores that just never want to leave. If this happened a year ago, I wouldn't have cared thinking they were just scratches, or probably even noticed. So back to Google I went, and I wound back on Morgellons sites. I dismissed it again - not because of the controversy about it, but that I couldn't possibly be in such a small population of people that have it.
Fast fast forward to yesterday/last night. I have seasonal allergies, but not bad at all, and in the winter I always have a very dry nose, but I'm used to it. Yesterday I was blowing my nose, and I used my tissue to scrape a super dry one out that I thought was stuck on my nose ring (sorry, guys). I'm not one to examine my tissues before I throw them out, but I happened to notice the rock hard blueish seed that came out my nose. I had never seen anything like it in my life. And when I say rock hard, I mean f**king rock hard -- impossible to crack. I remembered seeing pictures on some of the sites of some of those monsters up close, so I decided to take one and zoom in. And what I say frightened me beyond belief. So I was up all night REALLY reading about the symptoms this time, and so many more this time I identified with, and it was rather disturbing.
It wasn't until what happened this evening that brings me here seeking answers, help, or support, because I am terrified of what's happening right now. I've had to stop about 8 times writing this because I can feel the movement underneath my skin, but the scariest part of it all is that i can SEE it happen. Literally watch these lines with a black spec creep up my face, and now I have 4 huge holes on my chin from the monsters I pulled out. I have pictures of them up close that I have no problem posting, but I wanted to get this out first. I'm literally watching these paper cut lookalikes form on my fingers as we speak.
I can't stop crying, I feel like I'm losing my nuts. If anyone can please offer any sort of advice I'd appreciate it more than anything. Are there any solutions? Remedies to stop whatever migration is going on under my skin? There's no way I could live like this every day.
Desperately,
Melissa
