Hi community, New member here, self-diagnosed with bad symptoms during the supermoon several weeks back, have it under control but still totally lifechanging right now. Juicer and epson salt baths work best for me. Is it feasible that I caught this from smoking pesticide laden weed in Oregon, Colorado, Mexico, and Peru over the course of the past 22 years that I have smoked heavily (avg gram+ a day world class weed to my head)? Weed seems to be bad on the symptoms, is this just the acidifying effect or something more? Will I need to quit smoking to get better? Doc put me on Paxil, will this affect the condition? Also, does anyone have any experience with wilderness as a treatment?

Lady of Light, This is quite an interesting response. The water thing does seem to have merit. Why does the full moon set it off?

Hello Andinista, I am not aware of the symptoms being set off by a full moon, but I'm sure that it is possible, especially, if you consider the possibilities in reference to the solar energy. Like you, and every other victim, I remain open to new information. Thank you.

The supermoon is the first time I knew I had it, two months ago. It flared up a bit during the full moon this last weekend. Today it was almost nonextistent. The changes- haven't been at home much past 3 days, haven't drank my well water much past 3 days, less time with my dog past 3 days (whose M seems to be worsening while mine drastically improves). Is it the house, water, dog, or moon that is the root of my problems?

Hello Andinista, It's not possible to determine the root of the problem based upon a few days of relief. And you certainly cannot direct it towards the dog, lack of water or full moon. I remember having many days, and sometimes weeks of complete misery and mind boggling agony, and then suddenly wake up and everythings seemed to be improved for a few days, and then the process started all over again. It is tormenting, but that is how it is. You may even experience a lengthy span of remission. And you may begin to believe that you have somehow been remarkably pulled from the clutches of hell, but do not be tempted to rejoice too soon, for most remissions are temporary. Of course, everyone is different, but for most it lingers with them for many years. I pray that this will not be the case for you.

tx for the responses lady of light, I am switching forums and will be deleting this acct. gl getting well. Hi Andinista, please don't leave us. I'm sorry you're having a hard time too, & your poor dog. If it helps you any I only smoked pot when I came down with this, it was the only thing that took away my pain. As for finding the root cause - I'm still looking! lol - though I can tell you that I know my bathroom is feeding the symptoms in our household. I had brown hairy fungus growing off the bathroom floor. I had an expert examine the fungus & look at my photos. He told me the bathroom has a heavy viral & bacterial overload. Though he did stress I should be more concerned about the "things" I can not see that is causing "sick building syndrome". I've had to resort back to cleaning with bleach, which I hate, but I don't have a choice I know this stuff is growing under the floor covering & not to mention the vanity unit is roting. It's not our own home (we're renting) so we have to live with this unpleasantness for a little while longer, we're moving in July - yippee! I hope you stick around. Take care - sarah
