Hi, ohappyday
I would love to hear an update on your progress. Things were going pretty rough for you the last I heard. Were you ever able to get the surgery?

My Dear Dear Friends,
So sorry I haven't been there to support you. Chaos! That's where I have been.
For those of you who have been there for me over the last several years, words will never express my most humble appreciation for the many days and nights you have helped me to make it,......... just one more day. Your love, compassion, dedication, humanitarianism, encouragement, are incomparable to anything or anyone I have ever known . God knew what he was doing when he knitted you in your mothers womb. Oh what angels you have been to me. I will continue on next thread since for some reason this @#$%$## computer is not cooperating. Love 0happyday

Today is my 3rd day on protocol for Morgellons. I can't tell you how I feel right now this page would not hold all the descriptive words. God keeps telling me to "TELL YOUR STORY". But I don't think I can bare the pain.

Hi, 0happyday.
Thank you for all of the kind words. I have often wondered how you were doing. You went off the board a long while back and I feared you had became worse or maybe healing from the surgery, if you were finally able to get it.
What protocol are you on now? I know there are a few out there. Don't worry about telling your story until you are ready. You have suffered more pain than most that I know, and I don't want you to suffer any more. I am just so glad to hear from you.

Dear Shubot,
Thanks for holding the board together. LOL Today was not a very good day. Or started out that way. I called my 28 year old daughter to come over to help with my 8 year old this morning and slept til about 1. . I did take my youngest daughter and my 2 grandchildren to Bible School tonight and had 2 of my best friends and one of their daughters come over with food to cook for me this evening. They just left. I'm really tired. So much has happened in the last year and a half. It is overwhelming when I try to think about it all and I will try to start telling. I have to let the world know the horror we have lived with. I am on day 5 of Doxycycline, Flagyl and Mebendazole. also taking Juice Plus. I will be trying to incorporate probiotics MSM and C. Long story but I found out on Monday after my 3rd Lyme's test I have tested positive by CDC standards for Lyme's. My health is not good. I will talk more later I need a rest right now. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Sincerely, 0happyday

Hi, 0happyday, Thanks, but I did not hold the board together, crystalriver did. She is like the glue here, or the Mom of the board. I had to leave for about 9-10 months when we had a tragedy in our family, and I had to step in to help. I was so busy and suffering from sleep deprivation, that it nearly did me in. Things are much improved now and I can sleep much better, too. I think your health will start to improve now that you have had the surgery that you have needed for so long. Rest as much as you can and please do not feel like you have to reply to my posts when you are tired, I understand. Bless you, shubot

Question, how many times do you recycle with fibers? I have a resurgence of fibers in hand, nails, in the toilet, and I'm seeing them where ever I go. I also have that morgie smell, disgusting! Urine smells like onions, and is foamy and strong.
I was thinking I was home free, with a good remission, not so...Its a good thing I've learned to cope from you folks, with natural home therapy, or I'd be in the poor house. The only person that really understands is another fellow suffer. I had a bladder infection??? or stop up, with fibers, and cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I made it! Mabey this cycle wont last as long, because I know what to do. Where is everybody? night amron

Just wanted to say I'm thinking of you all.

Hi, Amron,
I know this question must sound crazy. I have heard people talk about the "Morgie smell" before. You just mentioned in your last post on this thread. I am not sure what the Morgy smell is. What does it smell like? Can you describe it for me, please. I do not notice the smell, but I have had a sinus block for so long, maybe I have it and do not know it.
Thanks, shubot.

Hi shubot, I think it could be described as a serious garden dirt mold. It has a heavey musty like layer that lingers over the body, even after showering. I think because I've had a resurgence of fibers, that it was the propagating cycle that causes the smell, like our natural hormones do at times. Iv'e never smelt it before morgies, except in the garden, and then in dark dank places. You may not have the black mold aspergillis-(I think) that some of us have larger portions, of certain molds. Thus no smell. The onion smell in the urine in the toilet knocks you over, at the same time of the oder. It last about a week while you are actively spurting out fibers. My cat who died of morgies had it often, and the other animals didn't want him around. Before I had him put to sleep, skin and bones, the last two or three weeks, the smell was ungodly horrible, he was always such a sweet smelling cat, it must have been hard on him too. My oder has gone now and the fibers have slowed, but my joints hurt like h...., and I have the three hour vigil each evening of pain back again.

Hi, amron and thanks for your response.
I do not notice the odor that you described, but right before I knew I was ill with this, I did notice a strange odor in my closed clothes hamper when I opened it to wash my clothing. The only way I can describe it is like an odor that comes from a person with serious liver disease, liver failure, or liver cancer, but much, much milder and far more faint, barely noticeable.
I think because my clothes were shut up in the closed hamper, the odor would concentrate and when I opened the hamper, I would get a sudden whiff of it and it would go away.
About the urine odor, I have not had the onion smell either, but at the same time as the weird liver disease odor, I had noticed an odor in my urine that smelled like puffed wheat cereal, like sugar smacks, I think. Honest, I am not kidding. I thought it was so strange and had my doc check me for diabetes because the smell was sorta sweet like sugar. I no longer have that either.
It is so interesting to me that although many of our symptoms are the same, there are often symptoms that are not present in others suffering with this same affliction. I realize that some of us could have some other underlying disorder that may be causing the other uncommon symptoms.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your cat. I lost my dog to morgellons, too. It really hurts.
I hope you can find something to help your joints. I have heard that eating ten cherries a day helps stop the pain in joints for some people. I think that may be more related to Gouty Arthritis though.
