Dear RM Agents and Readers,
The two responses that have been brought forth are from a husband that sees what is coming from his wifes body---even when she doesn't want to--the other is a Navy Officers wife--go figure.
The CDC and the new Yale guy best get their heads out of their posteriors soon---you've set on this one long enough!
Many Blessings,
CrystalRiver

Cher Monsieur Henri Weemaels:
Merci beaucoup pour votre submission. Je regrette que je ne parle pas Francais tres bien. Mais, je voudrais essayer la traduction de vos mots ici, parce que l'experience de votre epouse est bien semblable de moi-meme....
Readers, this is my attempt to translate Mr. HW's account. I have apologized in advance to him because my French is not very good, but I explained that his wife's symptoms resemble my own, and I feel it is important information to share. Here is my attempt at translation, with assistance from my New Cassell's French Dictionary....
"Hello--here is my story. My wife has had this since 2003. For 4 years we have suffered with this malady without knowing anything on the subject. Lesions appear spontaneously on the face, arms, body, legs and all sorts of things come out of the skin--black grains, black fibers or hairs, some looking like they are rolled into cocoons, little fragments of hard material that resemble wood or twigs.
She has these lumps which make her suffer sensations of something eating away at her--we see pieces of insects, fragments of claws, wings.....I saw all this with the help of a jeweler's loupe (magnifier). Many times I looked at and collected these many things that were produced by her skin. In Belgium, all tests were negative, and she was labelled with "delusions of parasites". We couldn't believe it.
Around August of 2007 I found after long research on the net that this disease exists, with photos that looked very similar to what we have seen. Yes, this illness is very real. I never had a doubt that these were not hallucinations. My wife has stopped reading about it, but not me.
I have no affection for psychiatry, and I believe what I see, thus I am conscious of it. Moreover, our children have also seen these things and can verify them.
To affirm this as a psychiatric malady is to repudiate the principles of science itself. Nanotechnology, biotechnology, robotics today allow many possibilities that yesterday would only be found in science fiction.
Wake up, and do not be incredulous. The question of the reality of Morgellons is beyond medicine's scope. This is a major societal problem brought about because people are capable of producing these things that can threaten the population.
This is my truthful account of all that I have witnessed."
Merci beaucoup pour votre temoignage, Monsieur Henri, AW

You are entirely welcome.
I do not mind being "poked"(LOL!) by someone who understands, either, or by any other patient with this disease. Ask away with any questions you may have and I will answer them as best I can.
I am finally no longer ashamed to admit it-it is not my fault, I did nothing to bring this on, always being meticulous in appearance, and hygiene. Neither did I pick my skin, make scars all over me, or place any sort of foreign substance in these lesions. Yelping in pain when it struck was not without reason-feels like a lit cigarette, electric shock, intense burning, and the unrelenting itch, combined with fatigue & achiness. Right now I have the "biofilm" spoken of, all over my L leg, up to the knee, and on my R leg but not as badly. Both feet are covered too, as well as my hands, and some on my R ear. This is all over me. It seems to be able to transit from one area it gets chased from into another area close by that spot.
All I, or for that matter, we, want is some answers as to what this is, where it came from, and, most importantly, can it be treated.
Thank you for translating the message from French to English; my heart goes out to that poor man and his wife.
From the helpful tips I have gotten from people with this, "Dettol" really facilitates in easing the symptoms. It can be purchased from Medichest.com. They have a phone number on the website, and "Tasha" takes the orders.
There is also a cream called "DSP" that I am waiting for-I ordered 3 jars of it from a gal in California that gets it imported from Germany. She uses "PayPal" and checks for payment.
Just the money spent on MD visits, bandages, Neosporin, Bactraban(RX), Lidocaine-Prilocaine cream(RX), Gold Bond cream, and the copay on the other RXs'-antibiotics, antifungals, is quite a sum. Couple that with the expense of all the laundry products you purchase, and the fact that we are unable to live in the house that we have a mortgage on so we are staying at a Hilton affiliate, until this can be resolved. This is the second time, in 8 years, that we are having to replace all of our belongings, from our clothing, curtains, linens, shoes, bags, beds, couches, chairs, phones, stereo equipment, dining room, kitchen appliances, televisions, all
and anything that we own.
We have been here since early January, but it is only >me< reacting to it-not my husband. Alas, it is a terrible burden to place on him, and he is helpless to do anything for me.
