Hello all... Five years now... I have been through it all... Enzyme cleaners... Bleach...Amonia...replacing carpets...ect. ect.
A simple cleaning solution:
1)Bergamot essential oil (Young Living Brand - others are not strong enough - young living doesn't heats the oils with low temps so they are therapeutic- also - caution- to make the oils cheaper, alot of companies actually mix the oils with chemicals, etc. Trust me... I have tried many other companies... Use Young Living...)
A. To Clean Clothes: 15 drops of Bergamot mixed with laundry detergent
B. To clean household : Bergamot to wipe door handles etc.
C. To bathe: 5 drops Bergamot mixed in bathgel and used during bathing
D.To clean carpet: 15 drops Bergamot mixed with 1 cup Borax - (keep it in a tuperware with lid closed overnight so that the borax can soak up the essential oil - this will protect the carpet from getting damaged by the oil) The next day, sprinkle the carpet with the Borax/bergamot - Do this everytime you vacumn.
Bergamot is amazing! It smells wonderful. It is uplifting... It helps with depression and it is VERY EFFECTIVE.
Yes... I agree with many on this site...Less is more... ;D

Oh.. a caution... Bergamot will make your skin extremely sensitive the the sun if used directly on the skin...
It will not cause skin sensitivity if used in a bath in a low concentration- 5 drops and mixed with a bath gel - It is very important to mix it in a bath gel before adding it to a bath... If it is not mixed, then the oil will just sit on top of the bath water and can burn the skin.
Oh... you may also want to use Bergamot in a cold diffusor -(A diffusor that heats the oil will destroy the therapeautic properties)
this will clean your air. It is just wonderful.
