I just found this site and it's good to know that I'm not alone with this nightmare. Is there anyone else from Michigan? I only know of one other person in Michigan who has this and hers is MUCH worse than mine.
I have been using tea tree oil for about a month and it seems to be helping. The lesions are starting to scab over again and when the scabs come off the hole is getting smaller and the itching is gone . I use a q-tip and rub the oil in right after I get out of the shower. it feels like needles poking into the spot for a while but is worth it because its actually starting to heal.
Has anyone tried colloidal silver?

Phi - What other symptoms do you have? Are you able to work alright? One thing you should add is Opaline Solutions Dry Oxy Caps (google it). They also sell oxygenated lotions you shoud use. SS

Hi, Depressed
Your right about the postings, it makes me a little leary. They all flew the coop when CR. left, or stopped posting. I miss her much, but I need this media. They really had an exciting group, and could banter back and forth with such trust and ease. Its so disapointing to get online, it's like a ghost town. I wonder what the newcomers think? My morgie brain is kicking up a storm, it goes for the biggy conspiracy answers. Perhalps we are all wet on the idea that the CDC and the Feds. are in a monitering phase. So be it. I'm a nobody, and a young person in old skin, whats left of it. Just hold the fort down until we get a clear perspective. Amron

Hi,
I share your concern as to what newcomers might think of this "dead" board. However, I don't think the board is really dead, nor do I believe that everybody has gotten well all of a sudden.
If you read everything that has been posted here, you will find that there are few angles left to probe - if any at all - whereby there is not much more to write about, really. This goes both for possible causes and for possible remedies.
Focusing on this illness all the time when you can't "hack it" is a strain in itself. Personally I feel this fatigue very strongly.
Those in possession of resources to do research seem to be doing all they possibly can, and the rest of us will just have to wait, whilst checking known sources for news every now and then.
I also miss CR, who had the stamina and the compassion to take care of everybody.
But Amron, you seem to be made of good material in that respect yourself. Reading your posts is always nice.

Hi Phi, and all... I am also from MI...(West Michigan)...I have been reading up on this Morgellons Disease for the past week, night and day...my family thinks I'm crazy and I wish I were crazy but my symptoms are consistent with everything I am reading. Since I believe I am infected with this???...My nerves are fried and I quite frankly...have no idea what to do about all of it. I have so many questions and right now my mind is in overdrive. What did you do? :-(

:-( Hi, Besidemyself and welcome to Morgellons Group. I am glad you are here. I understand how you feel and what you are going through. All of us here have been where you are now at one time or another. The symptoms may not all be identical, but the main ones are always there in the beginning, and that is what eventually brings us all together here. In answer to your question, "What did you do"? If referring as to how I became ill with this, it was after working in the soil planting and yard work. If it refers to what I did when I first got sick, I searched the INTERNET for any information I could find on my symptoms. When I finally found what really helped me, I followed it and I have been getting better ever since. I will not say I am cured because I am not. I am so much better now that I can live my life very close to normal now. I tried many things to treat myself and some helped and some did not. Then I found Dr. Staninger and I have been following her program for me and I am so much better. I am not going to say that that is the only way to go because I have heard of other people getting better that were not on her program. What you have to do is to find what works for you because we are not all the same. Be careful not to try things that may hurt you just because someone else said it worked for them. The main things I kept in mind for myself was to detoxify my body, eat only whole organic foods whenever possible, avoid GMO foods, pesticides and chemicals. I prayed a lot. There is so much to consider when you are trying to get well. Please consider reading: the symptoms and remedies section: morgellonsgroup.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=remediesMorgellons Alert - Dangers of Experimenting On Yourself morgellonsgroup.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=alert&action=display&thread=3468Housekeeping Tips: morgellonsgroup.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=housekeepingDr. Hildy Telephone Consultations: morgellonsgroup.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=information&action=display&thread=2746I hope this information is helpful to you, and I hope you start feeling better soon. Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing. shubot

Hi, your approach to this condition sounds like you are methodicaly reseraching, and you in time, will feel more comfort from fellow suffers. A good sound intelligent mind is really is a good beginning, but dont beat yourself up if your emotions aren't comming along at the same pace. The Elephant you are dealing with can be eaten only one spoonful at a time. The highs and lows, are natural. Emotions run amuck at each new revelation, fear can gather momento, and set you flight in a tail spin. This sight is a God send, and I use it to bolster and identify,an try to learn "How To" walk this stormy night of morgies from those who have gone before me, tapping into their expertise.
Welcome aboard, hang on to your hat your in for a ride! Remember you are helping us too. We need your input, and feed back. God Bless you on this often lonley journey. Amron

Amron, you are right, it is believed to feed on fear. Even though we may feel like we are going through a nightmare in the beginning, we need to try to remain calm. I have found that prayer has helped me to find some degree of peace in the most turbulent times.
It also helps to find something we really enjoy doing and try to allow ourselves to enjoy some degree of pleasure while going through this nightmare.

Hi All...thanks for the answering my post. I am now officially besidemyself1...((Ok...a little bit of brain fog or so they say is associated with this Morgie business? ha))...lost the site along with my password...Gotta be able to laugh at yourself and I am learning this rather quickly as of late. Thank you for your words of encouragement and support...I appreciate them more than you know...I think I have made some progress here in MI...I have found a Dr. who believes that although I may have a warped sense of humor...I am not delusional...yesssssss!!!!!!!!!! He apparently has 5 patients with possible Morgellons here in MI. It seems that besides the Morgellon factor...I have several other issues relating to my recently developed (I think) compromised immune system...that we are working on, as well. I need to go get ready for work...(now :-) this morning)...I took two weeks off due to extreme fatigue and stress to try and pull myself together. One of the hardest choices I have made in the last two weeks was deciding that I can't live my life in my room...I have to hope that I am not infecting my family and everyone else in the world with this nightmare. My Dr. says quote..."I do not think Morgellons is contagious, however I wash my hands thoroughly every time I see one. I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question yet." ? I can drive myself crazy worrying about it or I can go back to work this morning and live life like the journey it is and hope and pray for the best. I'm looking forward to delving into this site and hopefully talking with some of you...agreeing with Amron...it is a very lonely journey. Namaste...

Hi, You might want to point out the person you wish to speak with and pm them. Not many folks post anymore as people are scared. Yet, many come to see what others are posting or to find information. There is a chance but unless you want to be hit by those of predatory nature it is wise to not place your information on the front board.

Hi there Phi in Michigan! I seem to be the only European posting Would love to connect with others as well. I have tried just just about every recommendation and the tea trea oils did seem to help temporarily but I got aweful allergic reactions after a while so now I only use tea tree oil shampoo or sulfur shampoo and works best by alternating. I will share what up to now has worked best for me: My symptoms are now under control using a topical MMS spray 40:40 + 1 tsp DMSO for 250ml bottle, dark glass keeps it lasting longer. I use this for the stinging sensations and itching whenever needed throughout the day. I have one at home, in my purse and at the office. Other than that I lather myself with pure (bio) coconut oil 2x a day. Keeps my skin baby soft and isn't offensive. 2x a week I bathe in either MMS 40:40 with 1 tsp DMSO or a combination of 1 cup borax/ 1 cup baking soda. It seems to work best when alternated.I also use 1/2 cup borax for my laundry and wash most everything at 90 degrees celcius. I wash my bedding every 2-3 days in the same, in between I vacuum the sheets. I also clean my shoes every day with natural green soap. Other people don't even notice the lesions anymore even though i still get them, they are fewer. For my fingers and nails i use pure MMS then 30 minutes later coconut oil. I wash my hair with sulfur shampoo for dogs (ebay) wich smells but after letting it sit for 5-10 minutes I rinse and use regular, nice smelling shampoo and conditioner. Hope this helps you. Dont give up!for the anxiety i use a mindfulness app. Try to use similar things. Stress breaks down your your immune system!eat as healthy as you can using food that reduces inflammation, such as cucina (curcumin latte with coconut milk, cinnamon and a tea spoon of honey is great or curcumin, lemmon juice and water, etc), apple cider vinegar. I had it on (in) my left eye before and used a tap of honey mixed with boiled water, cooled to flush. It wasn't painful and was soothing to the eye. It was gone within 2 days. Honey is a natural antibiotic. MMS without DMSO can also be used for the eyes but it stings a bit. I hope this helps someone else. Hang in there and bless you! Marcia

Hi Im new here. I live in Missouri. I don't know anyone who has this. I've seen the fibers coming out from my face for about 10 years. I've always thought it was weird. I would stick the fibers, I called them 'fuzz', on duct tape. I watched them move, they were trying to escape the duct tape. I watched this happen for years. One day I cut my finger nails, I don't knowwhy but I stuck a couple of them on duct tape. All kinds of fibers grew out of them. It was the weirdest thing. I didnt have any other symptoms until about a month ago. I live with my brother. I decided to clean out the basement. I worked down there for about a week. Throwing away a lot of stuff, sweeping up the floor, and rinsing off n washing things we wanted to keep. Everything has mold on it. I wore cloth gloves that got wet,and no mask, no eye protection. I stupidly didnt think about what mold exposure does to a person. My being around that mold, touching it with wet cloth gloves, breathing it, I think one of those nights I didnt take a shower. That made this Morgellons grow and attack me with a vengence. It happened so quick.I have just about every symptom. The latest is.. My neck itched. I picked something hard out of it. It was a small brown bug. It was dead. I put a glass over it on my dresser. Things were coming out of it. I thought omgosh its having babies. I heated up my hot glue and covered him and his babies in glue. Later after it dryed I pulled it off my dresser. The glue didnt get on the bottom of him. I bent the glue to get a better look at him. I have a powerful magnifying glass I got out of a telescope that I use to look at all this Morgellons stuff. Well that bug was hollow except for some metal shavings. And then I got scared. It started moving its leg. I freaked out! How could it be alive!? It was burnt and split open. I covered the she thing in note hot glue and put it in a small glass jar with a tight lid. I don't know why but I kept it for a few days. Then I threw the whole jar away. I keep slot of things in glass jars. I've been slowly cutting off my "hair" we all know it isn't our hair anymore. Last night I finally cut it really short. From behind my head looks like a man's head. I'm a woman, by the way. I noticed that my hair was attacking my face. I'd be sitting in my room with no wind blowing and my hair would come and touch my face. It would be the ends of my hair. I would then get a sore everywhere the hair touched me. I started keeping it tied back but short hair would attack my face and neck. I used up 3 big cans of hair spray and 2 things of gel and 2 cans of mousse to keep it stiff and off my face. The Morgellons hate that! They bite and make my head and back itch. My head is covered with sores. I hate them. Today I have short hair and I drowned it in hairspray. I just scratched my head and seen fibers on my fingers. I don't have money now to buy anything to fight them. So I pored peroxide on my head. It started to drip down my face. I got combed it back. The comb is covered in white too. I thought it was the hairspray n peroxide mixed together. I looked with magnifying glass. Its gobs of fibers! I don't know why this made me so excited. Lol I put a plastic bag on my head. I'm going to pore more peroxide on my head and comb them out. Ill be back later. I haven't even read though evrryones comments. Its been horrible and some days I just want to die. Finding this group has been a GOD send. I think talking in this group will save my sanity and hopefully my life.

Mea2 I just read your last post. Thanks so much for the honey eye rinse. I will try it. My eyes bother me so bad. Last week I pulled 15 worms out of my left eye! Somedays, most days I feel like I'm going crazy. Knowing I'm not alone and especially reading you alls posts and talking about mine, I'm sure will help me. I'm new here and I already feel better having somewhere to write about all this and knowing you all are listening. Thank you all

PS. The filaments that you removed from your eyes are protein from the body and move because of natural magnetics
