Hello again,
It being Springtime again I thought I would broach what I think is an important subject such as preventative dog/cat care.
After all we are only as healthy as our animals. They are exposed to so much more being closer to the soil and insects and other animal excrement at times....some of them unfortunately ingest it.
I've had pets my whole life and until recently thought I was doing the very BEST in preventative medicine for my dog and cat.
I ALWAYS have given heartworm meds for the dog and cat. Topical flea meds.
Unfortunately the vet fails to mention to most people that this does NOT cover all bases.
For example, if your dog cat even eats one infected flea they can contract a tapeworm. Heartworm meds do NOT prevent this.
The only medicine which does is Praziquantel which can be gotten otc at most pet stores. It is quite expensive but is only needed once a month by pets weight.
Another thing which is NOT prevented via Heartworm meds is trematode (fluke) infections. A pet can pick this up by consuming animal waste (rabbit) and eating rodents/birds. A lot of peoples pets do this.
Also preventable with praziquantel.
I spent a lot of money trying to keep my pets/family healthy and happy and still my dog and my family contracted this disease.
Not saying that this will necessisarily stop you or your family from getting this but if you have pets and they go outside ..... just a thought.
I wish I had known this.
Thanks,
Faith

Faith,
I lost one dog and in the process of losing the other.
I found that V8 Juice or other brand, actually disassembles the morgellons strand and pulls if out through the skin. It also worked on the dog but unfortunately I was too late for her.
Maybe it's not too late for yours!
In prayer for you, your family, and beloved pet.
God Bless you all Grace

Thank you grace. Today I spent another $100.00 I did not have at the vet for my dog fearing the worst. He had a bad dry cough of unknown origin. They gave him some antibiotics but I could not afford all they wanted to do. No heart murmur's or kennel cough thankfully and has been on heartworm meds since birth. Is a d**n shame and a worry to boot. I feel for you grace and I'm sorry you have and are going through the torture of seeing your beloved pet waste away before your eyes. Breaks the heart.
God Bless you too Faith
