Hi Jrsy Grl,
I know your frustration, I was like that in the beginning, most Dr's don't know squat about this, they are going to feel real stupid when it is finally figured out. In the meantime, if you get on a good b complex and extra B12 it will help bring your eyelashes back, sad to say you also have to pluck more as the dark fibers grow faster also. Make sure and check out the helps on the Cherokeechas site. I have had it 23 years or more and I did it all through trial and error. A little bit of first hand knowledge from all the folks will save you some $ and stress.
Sickandtired's post was excellent wasn't it.
Be well, whiterose

I have a particular breed of dog, that is small, long hair and flat nose. These dogs were bred by tibetan monks. The name of the breed which I have posted several times is not nutzu but is sh itzu. Let's see if it prints out correctly with the split in it.

One thing I have noticed about my puppy is when he is ill, (he has a white water bowl), his bowl gets a yellow discoloration in it.

Ivermectin every two weeks has helped our dog and you don't have to give them anything else for heartworms if you do this.
Of course Frontline Plus every month.
If I can't give him a bath every week I rub some DE all over him.
For his eyes there is this stuff called Kritter Spritz that works wonders.

Thank you so much for that information, I give my dog black walnut for the M and bath once a week, the eye stuff looks very interesting, I will be looking into that.

Diatomaceous earth imay be used as a non toxic anti parasitic. You just sprinkle in on the dog's bedding (etc) and on the dog and the earth is like a dry clay and actually dries up and shreds the exoskeleton of any little creature that might be "bugging" your pooch. It works on humans too. I apply it daily using a large makeup brush. I bought the food grade type but the regular variety is supposed to be safe and effective too. Good luck!

Hi!
Just a note of caution on the diatomaceous earth. It is very, very dangerous when the dust or particles are inhaled. It is like inhaling slivers of glass.
When you powder your dog, the dust goes into the air - for both of you to breathe.
And, does your dog snort and root through its fur - like most dogs do?
Is it snorting the diam. earth into its lungs? I dunno.
Might be worth checking into, cuz I know how dangerous it is to people.

HI ALL, I have three german shepherds and 2 parrots and I know for a fact they all have it except the new shepherd that'sa under a year old. My parrots shake their heads and one of my shepherds keeps one of her ears down half the time. I have had it for a least 4 years and I'm sure longer!! My hair is alive like white rose said her hair is ,I can hear it pop on the pillowcase at night andI feel like it's a nightmare!! I would like to know if anyone can tell me if giving my parrots showers(water spray baths) are good or bad ? I feel water makes this stuff spread / and or activate it to produce many more. So do I let my parrots take baths and my dog to get groomed? I shower and bathe everyday and still feel dirty ,when I sweat I feel real dirty. I sweat very easy and can't stand it! WHY is that are my pores pluged up or what!! My hair has been alive for about four years now....... I've cut it pretty short and shave all my body hair and that helps alot!! One of my first symtoms was thick saliva and cotton mouth and of course a rash on my hand. I have been around animals for at least 25 years! Ive worked in a kennel with dogs and cats and I've worked in a lab setting in palo alto,ca for 5 years as a lab animal tech. I worked with mice b6 and blab /c mice an

Hi wildanimal,
I also shave all my body hair, except head,( I have thought about it). It does help a great deal. If you don't have soft water, which since I got M, I insist on, however, there have been times in transit and a couple rentals, I had to make do. After showering in the regular water, it helps to use 1/2 gallon of purified water or more or less depending on size. Then while still in the shower, put hydrogen peroxide on face, hands, feet, elbows and knees, and any problems areas, don't rinse, just pat dry. There is one other secret, I forgot to tell folks, a panty liner in the undies really helps, I believe this would be important to anyone regardless of gender. I notice a great deal of relief when I do this.
I do believe moisture makes it worse, certain areas of the country seem to affect folks more; however keeping your dogs bathed once a week will help, put hydrogen peroxide in the bath water. As far as your parrots, not my forte', however; I will ask around, and perhaps one of our other members will speak up if they can help in this area.
Big Hug, whiterose

Welcome wildanimal....
I shave all body hair too.....and it really does help.....and plucking the ones along my chin line that are relentless...
I too had the thick saliva and cotton mouth and a thick layer of white stuff all over my tongue that I could scrape off.....I could feel this layer going down my throat.....I think we forgot about this when doing our symptoms list.....
like Whiterose my head has not been shaved but have been tempted many times to do so....I just don't want this crome dome with lesions all over it.....I do have a wig that would help with public outings....its a tough call....
You may have contacted this disease from handling an animal that was infected......I believe once infected we now can infect others including our animal friends.....for we have infected 4 dogs different litters and different states for that matter.....and 1 African Grey parrot.....
I feel so sorry for the animals infected but their owners don't know it......at least mine are infected but I know it and try to help them deal with this too.....We have sponge baths to help wash the itches off and I clean their ears and eyes every day......and just lots of loving....they are for the most part happy babies because of the extra loving I think....
and now with the dog food crisis we have decided to make our own....

Here's a thougt: Do you suppose that this "bug" we have contracted could be a also a carrier/vector of Lyme Disease? And as with Lyme ticks....some carry the disease and some do not. I was driving myself nuts trying to figure out the connection between Lyme+ ticks+ Morgellons and I came to a possible conclusion that these things are feeding on our flesh that they are probably feeding on wildlifes flesh as well........and then ....voila....zoophllic nightmare....as with ticks. Just a thought. ~Bugsy

I beleive the connect with Lyme Disease is that one of the NANO organisms used for environmental cleanup is the bacteria associated with Lyme Disease.....that this was one of the bacteria manipulated with other bacteria and parasites to do a cleanup job as there were at least 5-6 different organisms in the barrel of fun that my husband was infected with....
and then once infected we have infected others in a chain reaction....so lets say we infected 15 people over 13 years from doing our own people research we know of that many for sure.....now those 15 plus us are now infecting others.....and it doesn't take long when doing the math to have a bunch of people infected......

Just FYI, Morgellons is passed on to dogs. I have a Morgie friend that had to have one of her dog's lung removed. Give them remedies like you take for yourself that improve your dogs immune system/lymphatic system.
