Hey Cindy! What if you offered to film folks in silhouette or disguise or something? Maybe still show specific - uh - body parts, but not identifying things.
How would you go grocery shopping or look for a job after being on TV as a - uh - well, you know?
BC has a really good point. (Sorry I don't live in that area either.)
Do you talk to Dr. Wymore much? Does he have any info to release yet, by chance?
I haven't seen anything. Thanks!!

Isn't it crazy - I'm literally frothing at the mouth to get media attention. I don't care anymore what anyone thinks.
Just give me the biggest soap box you can find - the evidence of this condition is overwhelming. Is there not someone out there who is just a little bit curious?? Makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Naysayers wouldn't dare call me delusional to my face, I throw a pretty good punch you know!!!!lol

Hi Thinker, I understand the need of those still working or still trying to work to be incognito on TV and most reporters are okay with that for some folks. But for the most part, there are plenty of people for whom working is no longer an option. As for grocery shopping..who really cares? Once I realized how big this was...I think it took me about two weeks to decide that I was going completely public regardless of my career or what others might think. That is not even an issue for me. When I realized how many people are suffering, I decided I have no choice but to go public and stick up for the truth. I have nothing to hide....you may have notice this by the pics of my butt all over the internet. Yes, the lesions and scars all over me are embarrassing in some crowds but I have a dear husband who loves me anyway. I know it must be really hard for some people who don't have a supportive spouse by their side like I do. That's why I try to be there for those folks to give them the support and encouragement that my husband and others gave to me. I refuse to hide out and I refuse to be quiet about this. What's a career when one has lost their health? The last I spoke to Dr. Wymore directly was at More Jamm. He continues to work on trying to find out the exact composition of fibers. He has come up with a lot of things that it isn't but still doesn't know what it is. He mentioned that he will try to get something (an update of sorts) written up so that people will understand better where he is in the research. They continually do testing looking for unusual properties of this stuff. Dr. Wymore and his very small staff work on this constantly but still don't know what it is. Much thanks for your input! Cindy

Thinker, This particular interview is for newspaper anyway, not TV. I guess that some could have some hesitation about that as well but it is my feeling that we need to scream this loud and clear to the whole world. But that's just me and I understand that some may feel a need to keep it quiet. I will never be quiet about this. Lives are being destroyed! Cindy

What was I thinking?
You are so right. It's absolutely imperative!
And thank you for the update on Dr. Wymore. I feel like a kid in the backseat, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" ROTF We wish him all the luck!!

Hey Cindy- I was a probation officer in Riverside about 27 years ago but now OKC, OK- Does that count? Probably not. You may remember from More Jamm, I was carrying weight behind me. Hope you're doing well.

I believe whole heartedly that if you have this you need to come forward. I believe whole heartedly that the Dr.'s and Nurses should start taking note and precaution.
It is so hard to explain to people the devastation of this affliction. I have been dealing with this for a very long time, well over 20 years now. Most of what is going on cannot be seen by the eye. It is very strange to feel all these different things going on internally and then to bring others to the full comprehension of what is happening is a whole other story.
