The Astrological signs in the solar system ("star sign") are viewed on the 15th of each month at 10pm. Northern Hemisphere view from New York, USA. Southern Hemisphere view from Sydney, AU.
Aldebaran, or Alpha (a) Tauri, is the brightest star in Taurus, and the thirteenth brightest in the night sky. Looking like part of the Hyades star cluster, it is in reality a mere 60 light years away. Aldebaran is a K class orange giant star about 2.5 times more massive than our Sun, 40 times larger, and 350 times brighter.
