Shubot -
Bacillus Subtilis has been looked at many times as the possible fibers for obvious reasons - the growth, movement, etc. But microscopically they are very different.
It is pretty clear that these fibers are a new and unique substance (and does not have cells, like Bacillus S. has).
As tiresome as the discussions about the fibers have become, there is only one scientist (Dr. Staninger) who seems to have identified them. A lot of questions persist about that identification, though, and can only be settled if the actual lab reports are made public.
In th meantime, Dr. Wymore is in the process of having his own analysis done. Hopefully that will settle it one way or the other.
I just wonder why, after 7 years, the MRF has never done this. Instead, they examine pathogens in a hot water tank. Makes no sense to me at all.

Hi, sunnydaze,
I think they got off tract because somebody found them in the tank. Of course they are in the tank...because they are everywhere. All one has to do is to LOOK UP, and analyze that which falls and compare it to what is in, and coming out, of our bodies. It is in EVERYTHING. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the clothes we wear. When it falls from the sky per chemtrails, it gets on everything, so why would it not be in a hot water tank too?
Sorry if I sound a little snippy, I guess I am sleepy and frustrated with it too. I have had it for three years and I wish they could come up with an answer very soon. I just want us all to be healed ASAP. This is no way to live.
Your friend, shubot

Shubot -
And there are other reasons to question that hot water tank study - the most important of which is that the pathogens they identified have NOT been established as being part of Morgellons. So why bother? "Phase 2" was supposed to correlate these pathogens to those found on/in a Morgellons sufferer. But they have been silent about the status of "Phase 2". And isn't that the cart before the horse???
Also, not every pathogen found in/on someone with Morgellons is necessarily a part of Morgellons. We are a long way off from making that conclusion. What HAS to happen first is that the things that are UNIQUE to people with Morgellons - like the fibers and black specks - MUST be 100% analyzed.
After that step, then these secondary pathogens can be looked at as possibly being a part of the disease process. I mean, staph is everwhere and on everyone, and always has been. Why focus on staph? We should be looking only at what is uniquely Morgellons and go from there.
Again, I am challenging the MRF to examine and identify these Morgellons "things". Why are they wasting donated money on hot water tanks while ignoring the Morgellons pathogens? It is stupid to the point of being suspicious. It just doesn't pass the smell test. And I am beginning to get angry with this organization, especially when assertions like Mary L. is "the sole authority" on Morgellons. BS.

What is really weird is that I can just look at someone and tell that they have the morgs. There are certain characteristics that just let "you know"
