This is said by many of us. Looks like we are correct.
The hair samples by Dr. Hildy, one she thought was hair and one she knew was a fiber. The tests both showed that they were fibers. Oh my listen to the show, you won't be disappointed.

Please someone get me some feedback from the show. I can't get audio at the library. What were the highlights and where does anyone think it will go.
My hair isn't my hair either. Just like my skin isn't my skin! Will talk some more later...

You are right , my hair isn't my hair!!!!!!! I can hear it popping on the pillowcase at night. I've cut my hair so many times that if I went any shorter I'd be bald. Does anyone have any advise on hair? I've been trying to keep it clean and dry. When I wash my hair I use peppermint and when I get out of the shower I blow dry it ASAP. It sucks cause I exercise my dogs and I do lots of yard work so I sweat alot. Anybody have any good ways to keep your hair under control/ from spreading M ?? THANKS, cause I'm run my three dogs

I considered this also, but it is one vanity I will hold on to and perhaps in doing so I will be able to also hold onto my humanity.
This is a personal choice, however; and we should each make our own. Sarah have you shaved your head?

I agree whiterose it's the only female sexappeal I feel i have left at this point in time. At least my hair can hide some of my face which helps since I pulled all my eye lashes out. If I did shave my head I would feel I would loose all that. Did you shave your head sarah and if so did it help any or did it just grow right back to the same thing??

Yup. I have contemplated shaving my head as well !
I can tell that my original hairs are seeming to be replaced by morgies...
Very upsetting :-(

I do believe that women are affected by this affliction more than men. I don't know how, or why, but it seems so...

Has anyone else experienced hairs when scratched or brushed out are forked at either end? Or have like branches .... Not split ends either....I have relatively short hair and have it cut often. And also little hook like things at the end... I don't mean to gross anyone out but after taking a particular anti parisitical at one point I eliminated what looked like large rat hairs....3 of them.... at least 4 inches each... My husband thought that was mighty odd looking.... I spend time most every day brushing out....the "other" hairs...and they always look an oddish shape....and my head immediately stops itching as much after this practice.
I've even tried putting a little Zinc Oxide on my scalp in a itchy moment of desperation ( I wouldn't recommend this) VERY hard to get out of hair...had to use dish soap for days. But......that was the day that the black cocoon type thing came out with all of the splinter/seed looking things fell into the sink...which were under my scalp.

P.S. I don't know if it's okay to say this but after I wash my hair...I always spray a little enzyme cleaner onto my hands and saturate my hair before blow drying....this drys the little buggers up and they fall right out without resistance after hair is dry. Being careful of course not to get it into my eyes.

Oh YES !
The first BRIGHT green lizard fiber thing that emerged from my back had 4 prongs at one end.
I took my first enzyme bath and that sucker must have come out of a lesion I had on my back.
I watched it wiggle around in the bath water, and after a few minutes I finally captured it.
I set it on the side of the tub, and in a few minutes it dried out and died.
Under the microscope it had a four prong hook on the head. And about three inches long, like a tadpole to a point at the end.
When it dried out further, it turned darker Green.
I still have it here in a plastic microscope eyepiece vial.
Any skeptics are welcome to come here and see it !

Hi guys, good topic.
My hair isn't my hair either, had a bad hair day today!!
Yes I did shave my head two winters ago out of desperation. My hair was originally half way down my back.
I don't know whether it was actually my own hair or the intruder but the hair ended up growing into my face, what a mess and so painful. Shaving my head was even more painful. The top of my head took forever to shave it was thick like a shag pile carpet. My head had changed shape, and was so swollen and my hair line came halfway down my forehead.
I still have hair coming out of my face which is attached to my scalp. My scalp is painful, and my hair hurts. Today it feels like a horses tail, and looks like a wig almost. The hairs go inside my ears, grow into my eyebrows, cheeks and forehead. I won't be shaving my head again, it wasn't a pretty site at all.

Hi All,
I am 36,female,FMS for six years.
In the last year I have developed a very weird, embarassing, hair condition.
First 1/2 my hair fell out all over. Then I started having small pimple-like (but not) sores mostly on top and sides. Last spring I asked my teenage son to look at them and tell me what it looked like. He said, "Wow Mom, that is FREAKY! You have like 10 hairs growing out of the "red bumps" (one folicle). He yanked a bunch for me which each time gave me this strangely weird euphoric relief feeling. For some reason, those multiple hairs didn't hurt when yanked. (wish I had never let him touch me now).
I also had the weird black, crooked, hair roots ("millions" of them). Never had hair roots like that before.
Then I started having bald patches. Admittedly largely from yanking. But the "hairs" hurt SO badly!!! The one BIG bald patch on top now has what looks like real vellus hairs coming in since I started using a prescription grade cortizone cream left over from my son's "exzema". That was the other thing, my scalp has an odd lumpy "rolling sand dune" quality to it on top and any lumps are pink and the hairs in then are the most black and crooked on the end.
Most recently it has worsened. I now have two small patches, one on each temple that have glass like filaments growing out of them. SORE!!! Never felt like ANYTHING like this before. I can lterally hear the tweezers scrape against them in my head! It's kind like whiskers on a man, but 50 times finer and 400 times more of them per square inch. I admittedly have dug the crap out of them getting out these "filaments"...again...weirdly euphoric which will probably make some sceptic think for sure it is psychiatric! But it's almost like there is one dedicated nerve ending for each "hair" and it stings relentlessly untill slowly extracted. It feels like micro-tiny hollow glass catus prickles with a really inflamed nerve attached at the end. Hate to be so imaginative and graphic, but I am hoping someone else can validate wether their problems are similar.
Many of the "hairs" are coming in thick and super wirey. My mother said she was concerned that if I kept yanking them then no hair would grow back there again. I said to her, to her surprize, "GOOD!" "I hope so!" It's pretty bad when you DON"T want your hair to grow.
I noticed several things about the developement of all this.
1)-it all started shortly after I began Lyrica
2)-it all started shortly after I colored my hair too soon. (unusual for me, but I had two occaisions close together and felt so ugly...)
3)-I cut my shoulder length hair "off" and was showing, gelling, and air drying (which in my humid climate takes a while). It got worse during this wet-alot period. Now I too srub w/ tea tree shampoo and really great MSM cond. from health food store then dry the heck out of it w/ dryer. I agree, this feels really good.
4)-also think there is a coorelation to curling iron heat. When my hair was long, the curling iron was never super hot against my scalp. After I cut it pretty short I used the fat curling iron alot. Seems like most of my problem area started or are the worst in places where the curling iron was most apt to szzttct my skin at times. (most women will know exactly what I am talking about!) Sometime I even accidentally burned my scalp. The iron is fat (so I don't get poodle curls) and hair short-you get the pic. Now I rarely use it and if I do I keep heat low as possible and try viligently to not let it touch or overheat my scalp.
My doc has told me for a year that it is scurvy! No way man! I've been taking high (I mean HIGH) quality Vit.C for a year. I probably was deficient as I am allergic to citrus and avoided it for almost 10 yrs. But I have had no improvement...gotton worse really...since treating the "scurvy". Plus I DO NOT LOOK LIKE A BLEEPIN' PIRATE!!! My teeth are perfect. Gums great. No rickets or bone pain...come on. And wouldn't scurvy be on my WHOLE head? Argghhhh!
5)-very worrisome- I can tell my doctor is lying. He is actually the most brilliant doc I've ever met. He knows more about every disorder/disease and every medication than anyone I've ever met. He also has alluded that when he goes to central america a few times a year, that it is somehow CIA related. This may be hogwash bravado- but if you knew him-you'd be inclined to believe him too. This guy is good. He writes alot of drug legislation, travels around the world speaking, teaches pain management to the military, studies (for decades) w/ shamans in the rainforest, is D.O. not just M.D. Anyway, I've known him long enough to know when he's giving me a line of bull. It happens. He'll tell me things that he thinks will make be better thru placebo effect, I can tell. When I mentioned the weird thing I'd read about on the Internet he gave me a dead-eyed smile and said unconvincingly that "yea- he'd heard about it"-" it's the same thing-scurvy". "For some reason we are seeing a resurgence of it in this country." .......r-i-g-h-t......he's lying, I can tell. He also was not interested in doing too much touching of my head. Didn't give me Cipro or any antibiotic for the absesses. (which he'll do at the drop of a hat for a measly sinus infection). He also really freaked out when I showed him the new patches on my temples. I'd been complaining about my hair for a year and he'd dismissed me. Suddenly, I got his attention. The first thing he did was SWITCH MY MEDS. He took me off Lyrica and Lamictal overnight. (no weaning like usual) and added Keppra and Bactomiacin cream for sores. Interestingly, the cream has really inflamed "it". What ever "it" is, it doesn't like that cream, or else my skin doesn't)
6)- another interesting thing is the derm here (we only have one) wouldn't even see me. Referred me to a trichiologist at Duke....ok....? Why not? I live right on the eastern seaboard in a rural area w/ lots of crabbers and watermen that get weird skin conditions. I suspect-(pure speculation, I know)-that he knows what's "coming" and wants to not deal w/ me. I've been to him before. He knows I have FMS.
7)- also, about 2 years ago our house was fooded badly by hurricane Isabel. We lost 16 trees (out of maybe 20?). We were displaced for 6 months. 75K in damages. Then Hurricane Earnested almost flooded us again. This time only up to the upper deck, not inside the house. I am sure it is mold/mildew central under my house. (on peirs).
I have read about this theory about bryozoams. Plausable in my case as I was working out of a real estate office literally on a pier when I got sick 6 yrs ago. I live on a large bay and at about 5' above sea level. Interestingly, about 1-2 yrs ago they started a big oyster bed repopulation project. Barges would come in about a half mile off my beach and literally blast dead oyster shells by the bargeful, with fireman like water blasting hoses, into the water. Baby oysters really like to take root on old empty oyster shells hence the connection w/ repopulating. I know it is working b/c now the large rip rap rocks at the shoreline, on THAT side, have lots of baby oysters clinging to them. I have lived here my whole life and never seen so many baby oysters show up in one place like that.
We also have well water and flouride and salt are dangerously high here. We have a special water filter so our young son doesn't get brain damage from high flouride and my older husband doesn't get high blood pressure from the salt. But it doesn't cover the bath and showers!
Anyway, those are some of my thoughts. I also speculate that there is a logical connection with medications. I read that people w/ FMS/CFS/Lyme etc are more prone to have this, right? (yes, I know, alot of people think those disorders and Morg. are the same illness...) But think about it. I don't know about you, but I have been on average about 7 different meds a day since diagnosed 4 yrs ago. This is just so I can function!!! I would bet MANY people in this catagory are on multiple meds. Many of these meds are new, not tested long term, and certainly not tested for safety when used in combo. w/ 6 other meds.
I don't think I buy into the parasite thing, unless you count the bryozoan theory. Mine (until last night!) really don't itch or feel "crawly". Just sharp as crap! It wakes me up every time I flip my head on the pillow. OW! OW! OW! Like I said, micro-tiny cactus like prickles cutting into the nerves.
Oh, I also have the weird "heals ultra fast but doesn't really" issue. A weird gel like coating will "heal" over with in 24 hrs (if I quit picking!), yet the "skin" ain't really skin! It's lumpy almost keloid like, yet a little tug on the scab and chunks of it come off almost painlessly. Gross, I know. Sorry. Just hope someone can comiserate.
I could go on, but no one including me has patience for long epic emails like this! I have just been looking for posts like this myself...so maybe someone else is too?
Thanks in advance,
"glasslikefilaments"

Welcome to our world, seems once you walk through the door you leave most so-called "normal" behind.
I'll let you know what I know from my understanding of it, then perhaps are "smart" (brilliant is more like it) member skytroll will help to fill in the pieces. I would also suggest the Morgellons shows on Jeff Rense's program, worth spending the time, but you will need to hold on for the ride, once you realize where this is all going. I am convinced it is nano, it is the only thing that makes sense after living as long with this as I have. Is there a biological component, I would think so. As far as where it comes from, when I became ill I lived by a sewage plant, water seems to be key in most of the stories, although I now believe that our whole planet has been covered with "smart dust".
I believe the crystal is being pushed out of the body by the nano fibers. They can be extremely painful. If you go to the photos at rense you will see what is under the gel type stuff, as you said--really gross. I believe the one that describes what you are speaking of was from Jan Smith.
Many Blessings, whiterose

Yeah, and my hair is not my hair. I'm 55, and although I eat healthy, there is no reason my hair should be so shiny! Right down to the ends. And that's with me washing it every day with T-Gel shampoo. It is such a horrid tangled mess when I'm trying to brush it out after washing, and yet, walla! NO split ends...just remarkable shine. Like shiny dolls hair when they are new with straight hair. It DOES burn, (unlike the fibers that come out of my skin) but it doesn't smell anything like the nasty smell of burnt hair. It's not glass, but it is sharp like. Seems rather clear too, but then, mine is blond...with a coppery tone to it when wet. Strange gold hue to it when dry. And, it likes to go for walks! Or is that crawls? I search my clean socks each time I put them on, but I'll feel a tickle sometimes, and sure enough! There'll be a so called hair or two in them! I wear nylon calf high socks or up to just under the knee. I'd understand it if they were on my socks bottom, but always INSIDE of one after I've searched them closely for any fibers or fiber balls after washing and getting ready to put them on??
But then, that's no surprise, since I've watched a so called hair crawl out of a pore on my arm, (it burned as it came out) and it slithered like a snake up my arm! Found two on the other arm with the ends all zig zgged like a piece of ribbon candy from old fashioned Christmas Candy...they were side by side, and I itched there, so I stuck wide clear tape on my arm to see what it was with a magnifying glass...and there they were! I've never seen anything like that before or since, and all that happened in one day.
But, my wild wiggly hair is here every day! I don't have fibers stinging as they come out anymore, but my wiggly hair is still right here! Unless it decides to drop out from my head, and floats like it has no weight to it at all. It has also jumped off of my head before. And crawls down my arm or back.
Well, got to go now. Have to face 'normal' family (or so they think & I do hope, but at this point, very much doubt ANYONE will excape this) today for Daughter's Birthday party.
But WE can make our lives the best we want them to be anway, and I'm doing that, regardless! I refuse to let this stuff stop me! Blessings to all, Celia, in Tacoma, Wa. USA

in the beginning, my hair fell out. i cut it short, short.
it got replaced with pseudo hair. my hair is long. i keep
it in a ponytail. it makes me feel i give them an outlet
to give my skin a break. just like wearing cloth you know they like.
keeps it off me, but then how could i get any more infected? my hair is wild and infected when i look under the scope.
when i took care of a paraplegic, i used maggots to debride a hole in his back.
i had to make an appliance for the maggots to crawl to capture them after they feed.
when i wear cotton or wool, the morgs will curl in there instead of on people i love.
throw it away. do it again.
i wonder if i could offer my ponytail as continuous nano producing machines on e-bay auction?
by the way, pepper and i get extra stinky cyclic. my friend says i smell like a strong onion, even right after shower. pepper smells like a stinky dog smell right after her bath.

Here is an interesting story about a single strand of my hair.
I was on the phone with a fellow Morgellons afflicted person; who I will make fun of because I know she will handle it well.
We were speaking, mostly I was listening, until my hair's dance caught my attention. I moved completely from the computer and faced another way attempting to focus on her conversation, but this strand of hair wouldn't let me. Than I realized that it was moving according to the influx in her voice. I stopped her mid sentence and explained that we were now in the process of conducting an experiment. She caught on quickly, as she always does and she with her voice made my hair dance. It was quite a site to see.

Yea it is that weird one we have been speaking with. Speaking with her is just a shocking experience. Maybe we should call her and have her sing the macarena? Imagine our hair, it could take bizzare to new heights, hehehe!

Check out the picture at this site: www.endgamethemovie.com/news.htmlWhat does the future hold for humanity? If the future is anything like this video then expect a dystopian nightmare. This propaganda video highlights the "benefits" of a brain chip inserted into every human being in order to create an interconnected "world wide mind." Watch the video on Alex Jones' TruthNews site Nazi-style experiments on US children: Pesticides Intentionally Sprayed in Low Income Homes for Experimentation Jones Report YouTube | October 7, 2007 Bush adminstration supports Program to deliberaretely subject infants and small children to known toxins.Of course they manipulate poor people into subjecting themselves to poison for money. The Bush administration sinks to even greater lows. Of course, as ENDGAME shows, these types of studies have gone on for some time-- google "Guinea Pig Children" to learn about foster children and low income black children being subjected to this sick eugenics program. One of the key points of this program is to "routinely spray pesticides inside the home." Then, a field officer will "visit every 3-6 months for 2 years to conduct tests before and after pesticides [exposure], collecting food and urine samples."

they often use the cia to scare people into silence, but dont be afraid the ais have no jurisdiction here, its all minds games with them ;-)
